    I bought this to age beer and it fits a good amount of beer bottles and cans. It holds temp very well and isn’t to noisy. It looks great as well.

    Didn’t make it 2 years before it stopped cooling. Had a repairman diagnose it and would cost more to fix than we paid for it. But it did work great for 20 months.

    The first unit arrived with damage to 3 sides and the bottom. The replacement arrived with damage to two sides and the top.

    This review is not for the wine fridge. We never actually got a working one from BB. We ordered this a couple of weeks ago, finally came in & looked as though they had played soccer with it at the warehouse before sending it to us. Fine, it happens. Took it back to the store, no problem. Reordered another one, thinking that was just an accident as we have ordered a number of things from BB for delivery. The 2nd one came today & looked worse than the first one. We had time to look at it before it was dropped off this time & we were able to refuse delivery. Even the UPS driver was shocked at how dented & dinged it was. I don’t know if there was a batch of these that were all damaged or what, but we are ordering this from someone else now as we need it in order to install in our kitchen remodel & just can’t take ANOTHER chance at a broken one.

    Beverage fridge looks very nice. Biggest downfall is the lowest temp setting is 41 degrees, which isn’t ideal for beer. It could also use some more lighting. I purchased this in Nov 2021 and have had to replace the light bulb twice already.

    This beverage cooler is less than a year old. The temperature control will not let me adjust the temp. lower that 44 and only cools to a temperature of 46. I will not buy a GE product again.

    Installation was quick and easy. It looks great mounted. It was a little bit noisy when running but the main issue was within 13 months, it stopped cooling. I only used it for wine chilling so temp was set at 58 degrees and not pushing too much the compressor. After calling GE support, I was disappointed to hear it had just been out of the warranty preiod and for a repairman to show up I had to pay $120. I would have expected more from a GE appliance, one of the main reasons why I decided to buy this wine fridge.

    Issues within a year. Had a warranty claim and has tech visit 4 times with 2 sets of new parts sent. It’s been a battle with GE over repairs and parts that’s been going for 6 months now. Even went through their consume relations team and it’s been a challenge. Was advised that the 2nd shipment had all the right parts but turns out they were still missing pieces needed to complete the repair.

    Fridge stopped working within 6 months of purchase. Okay – products break, but the warranty/service has been terrible! I’ve been trying to get a repair/replacement for over a month and keep getting run in circles by GE’s service center. Have already stayed home for 3 days only to have the repair person never show up or contact me with a reason. GE then automatically reschedules with no contact to see if that works for me. Then you can’t get in touch with them! Waiting on hold for GE for days at a time, only to get put on hold and kicked off the line. It’s impossible to get in contact with someone who can help. Worst service I’ve ever dealt with for a product that broke a few months after purchase. Buyer Beware!

    Very attractive stainless steel and glass body. Shelves only removable but not adjustable. Quite motor and despite only lowering to 41 degrees drinks remain very cool.

    Works perfectly… keeps drinks cold, maintains temperature… slight condensation noticed on cardboard placed against the back wall inside the unit… others have complained about
    noise, noise is not an issue at all.

    I ordered this refrigerator in early July. It arrived in a torn box and significant damage. I requested a return and new one. The 2nd refrigerator also arrived damaged. I requested to return and get a 3rd new one. Now I have 3 refrigerators. Still waiting for Best Buy to coordinate with UPS to pick up the 2 broken ones so I can get a full refund. See photos

    Item is so poorly packaged that it took 3 shipments to get one that was not completely smashed to pieces, even then it had several surface scratches . Item itself if fine. It adequately cools, and has nice wooden shelves. Interior is all cheap plastic.
    Watch on dimensions, the unit is not counter height and may need quite a bit of framing to function as a built in.

    Nice refrigerator but the dimensions listed online are not accurate so it would not fit and I had to return it. Very disappointing

    Fridge does it’s job and keeps wine chilled, but has a hard time maintaining precise temp, especially if it’s warmer in the house. The adjustable stands are also not very stable. The door when closing doesn’t have the best suction and can swing back and stay open if closing too fast.

    The GE wine fridge/cooler stopped working after 24 months. I tried to reset the cooling setting several times to get it to cool below 73 degrees but nothing worked. The unit at best buy, when purchased was on sale for $425 when purchased but it now sells for $810 for the exact same unit.

    Disappointed because I initially loved it.

    Bought this less than 18 months ago and the compressor broke and is, of course, beyond manufacturer’s warranty. BB couldn’t do anything because we didn’t purchase geek squad.

    We only paid $600, so if this happened after spending $800 I would be beyond mad.

    Do not buy. Spend extra and chose better quality.

    Ps – ours was installed in cabinets, so maybe it works better as freestanding. However the description says either.

    I purchased the GE Wine fridge in April of 2020 from Best Buy online, the compressor/control panel went out just after the warranty expired in mid 2021, unfortunately for me i did not purchase an extended warranty and the repair was going to be $512.00. I paid $700 for the refrigerator new. The refrigerator fan works but since the circuit panel is non functioning the compressor wont kick on and the unit wont cool. Very disappointed in this product from GE. Too expensive for this lack of quality.

    I ordered 2 of these and both arrived completely destroyed. Wouldnt even stand up straight. Door wouldnt stay on. Didnt work. The packaging of the second one looked fine so I didnt open it for a few months (was bought for a new construction project). the secong one arrived in worse shape than the first. GE or Best Buy is packing damaged appliances and shipping out in sound packaging. BEWARE.

    Product is solid, reasonably quiet, and performs well. The interior design is flexible, and the outside design attractive. My only quibble is that an icon inside the unit is supposed to be illuminated when the compressor is operating, and it is not. And the paint on an edge of the box peeled slightly off when the packaging tape was removed. Neither flaw is serious.

    Surprisingly, the wine cooler seems to be working fine, which is amazing, considering what it looked like when it was delivered. The box looked like it had been drug behind the delivery truck from Salem all the way to Monmouth. It was beat to crap. So far, the cooler seems to be working.

    I’m sure it’s a good unit, but we bought it for the reason that it would fit under our counter and when delivered it was way off! Do yourself a favor and double check the model on GEs site first.

    First one we received, the thermostat was broken. Second one received, never installed since it was dented and scratched. With a 15 day return policy and not at the location where it was shipped, and trying 2 hours to get someone on the phone to extended return policy, we decided to go with a different cooler.

    We received this as a wedding gift and were very excited about it, unfortunately, the first one arrived damaged, so we were shipped another one, which was also damaged. We decided to pick up the new one at the store, although we when brought it home we discovered multiple dents. The fourth one we picked up was damage and dent free, however, after just a couple months of use it stopped cooling and just would run without ever cooling down to the desired temperature. We luckily had the Geek Squad protection, so since it had been several months, we were able to return and exchange for our 5th one. I was very unhappy to hear that we would have to re-purchase the Geek Squad Protection on the new one because they said it was a new product and the old protection only covered the previous one. I am very disappointed at the hassle of this, especially since it was a wedding gift and would not recommend this product. We just picked up the new one so hopefully it lasts longer than a few months.

    Replacing an old dual zone wine fridge and found great deal on the ge fridge which nicely matched our other ge applancies. Its relatively quiet and very solid construction, keeping our white wine and ipa’s ready for the weekend!

    The unit is more compact than most, and cools to 41 degrees (wish it would go lower, but that’s better than most). My only issue is the motor runs a bit noisier than I would like. But at least I have cold beer in my man cave!

    This is our second wine cooler the first one we owned for under a year and the condenser went out on it and stopped working
    We have only had our new one about a month so it’s hard to tell you what’s gonna happen to this one
