This is my third Garmin GPS, and I think it is the best. That is high praise, since I think Garmins are better than any navigation I have ever seen built into a car.
I had to replace my NUVI which I have owned for years, and I was sad to have to replace it.
However, I think this is a significant upgrade. First, the voice recognition is quite a bit better. Second, the live traffic seems to be more reliable.
One note for anyone upgrading. To get traffic, you need to use the Garmin Drive app. I had previously used the Garmin Smart Phone app. I had to delete the old app from my phone to get the new one to work properly. It all works great now, but getting it to work was a little frustrating.

Overall the GPS is pretty good. It’s missed the destination several times and the arrival time has been off by as much as 50 minutes. When it gets off track I usually pull over and set the address in my phone. It seems to be more accurate.

Works very well. I love the ease of being able to use this as I run service calls on a daily basis and this helps me calculate. Everywhere I need to be in a timely manner and accurately gets me to the arrival of the destinations. I will be traveling to.

I used this GPS for my 680 mile drive home from Savannah GA. It worked great!! It even warned me of a traffic light camera. I didn’t know it could do that. Love it, would recommend it for anyone that doesn’t want to tie up their phone on long trips.

My experience with this item compared to the Drive smart 65 is frustrating at best! It locks up at the wrong time during commute and causes wrong turns, tells me to turn right instead of left! I have always loved and used Garmin products the way I love and drive Jeep Grand Cherokees! This is the worst Garmin product I’d ever want to use with my Jeep!

My experience with this item is compared to my old Garmin GPS, which recently gave up the ghost. This one is much better. I like seeing received messages briefly pop up on the screen so I can see if I need to answer them quickly. The voice recognition is much better than with the old one. It seems to be better at finding addresses (better database). Hopefully, it won’t send me on back roads where there si a better route, like the old one, though I haven’t been able to test that yet.

Garmin always assumes you want to take the interstate. I often prefer to travel state highways which are less congested. Since it include info on National Parks, etc I thought it would have more options for route selection. You can shape your route but it usually takes 3 tries for it to work. I have yet to get the voice commands to understand commands. The one exception is Alexa works but I don’t use that much. The battery life is super short so you must keep it plugged in if you are traveling more than an hour. The charger connects in the back which precludes using some cell phone holders. I seriously considered returning this due to the difficulty in using it but figure it may come in handy when I am out in poor cell signal range and I don’t have paper maps with me. On a positive note, the voice directions are pretty good, giving you landmarks to indicate where you are to turn.
