    This GPS unit works really well. The only complaint that I have is that it loses the Amazon Alexa connection sometimes.

    Excellent GPS. warns of accidents, Speed traps. Voice activated. Alexa enabled. expandable memory. Be sure to get extended geek squad warranty as this is car device and environment is hard on electronics. Lifetime maps pays for itself when compaired to your cars subscription NAV.

    Bought this to replace our older GPS as that display was getting dim in daylight. Thought this was good in spite of the Alexa assistant. Problem with this unit is the fact that it pairs with my phone and all of my notifications pop up on the GPS. No one could figure out how to disable the notifications on the GPS and still keep them on my phone. Retired this unit and went back to my older one.

    I used to have older version with smaller screen. It has become quite outdated with features so upgraded to this one. Compared to my car’s integrated navigation system, this Garmin is much faster in typing in the destination, much easier to navigate, and really user friendly. With this Garmin, it makes an expensive car navigation system not cost effective at all.

    I primarily use this GPS in my service van for work and have used several brands I find Garmin to be the best in my personal opinion. One thing I love more than anything about this device is Alexa…if you have a debut with your work assistant and need factual information on the spot just ask Alexa…love it! I can talk to the GPS on the fly for directions to my next job, answer or make phone calls directly from my Garmin with the Bluetooth capability…or even listen to a audiobook. Every Sevice Technician that drives alot knows using your phone as a GPS and receiving phone calls is a pain in the butt!! Very satisfied with this purchase!

    If you drive a late model vehicle and the aux jack is the only option to link to the stereo then look no further. This is the unit for you. It has all the bells and whistles. Stream music to you stereo via the aux from you phone library or through Amazon music. The navigation is very intuitive and easy to use. Why the three stars you might ask? It’s an easy to use GPS and lots of features! However, the product but short on quality. I had to exchange the unit twice in order to get it to work properly. Both time had to do with the aux jack. If the manufacture would have better quality control this unit could have earn 5 stars for their top of the line product. For those who doesn’t need an aux jack, this could be the GPS for you.

    Wife bought it for me because I’m a patrol deputy. It is extremely helpful when going from call to call. The Alexa can be annoying though because dispatch will occasionally set it off.

    What I have enjoyed most about the Garmin is the warning chime when the speed limit drops. The traffic information is also very helpful but you need to make your own decision about the rerouting it offers. It is a help aid, not Artificial Intelligence. Understanding this is why I give this Garmin 5 stars. Money well spent – not to mention the nice touchscreen display. Your cellphone data enhances the device but you don’t necessarily need it. I accidentally left my phone at home while on a 100 mile trip but the Garmin routed me to my destination & back with no issues as it utilizes the GPS radio signals

    My wife’s Garmin was a number of years old and I wanted to replace it with another one that did voice commands and turn by turn instructions. We have Echo devices in our home and love them. Have the Amazon Extended Music subscription and there is no song we have not found available yet. So this looked like a real solution to the problem with a bonus. Amazon music setup was terrific and recognition was great. However, was unable to get the Garmin to take voice commands or get turn by turn directions. Bummer, right? Wife loved the music so much she decided to keep it. Well, I did some research and learned that you control the Garmin by voice through the Alexa command. Also, learned there is a turn by turn enable embedded deep in the menu. Made those adjustments and she is in GPS/Music Valhalla. Truly a great unit. Easy to read screen. Bright and very visible. Great voice recognition. I liked it so much went out and bought one for my car as well. Highly recommended.

    My current Garmin GPS is 6 yrs old and I was making plans to do more traveling. I decided to upgrade to the Garmin Drive 65, glad I did. The first major improvement was the voice. The old unit I had sounded more digitalized. It was refreshing to hear a natural human voice on the 65. I also have live traffic on this and it worked perfectly when I drove 600 miles to Cleveland Oh. My time of arrival was spot on even when it added another hour to my trip because of road construction. It’s easier to read and I made far less mistakes because of the clarity in giving driving commands and visuals. I highly recommend it for those whose travel from out of state or just locally.

    I am still getting used to it but it made my recent trip to Virginia very enjoyable. So enjoyable that I took the scenic roads. I was able to find National Historic parks and a great hotel along the route using the included apps. Alexa kept me entertained along the way. Couldn’t ask for a better driving companion.

    This replaced an older Garmin GPS. Happy with this purchase. Some adjustment needed to get properly set up. (YouTube tutorials from Garmin helpful.) Still haven’t gotten use of Alexa completely, but hope to work that out with a newer phone.

    Easy to read screen. Love the ability to verbally ask the GPS to find addresses, businesses, categories (for example) or saved destinations without having to touch the screen.
