Overall, a great deal on induction, but you do get what you pay for. Once you’ve had induction, you won’t go back! This unit in particular had a faulty oven light bulb, which shattered and cut my finger, but I presume that is not a widespread issue. Also, the front left burner is off-center, so the magnets underneath are not aligned with the circles printed on the glass, which makes it seem as though the cooking is quite uneven. It can be mostly corrected by moving your pan, but seems like a QA fail. I echo the other reviewers’ opinion of the air fry, which is likely just a reflection of these manufacturers trying to advertise an extra feature that really doesn’t live up to expectations. All controls are touch, that respond slowly to me and at least one other reviewer. However, if you want the induction and standard oven features at a reasonable price, this is an excellent choice.

We love this induction cooktop range, except for the lack of attention by the factory during assembly. We found the rear left of the cooktop was loose, whereas you could push down on it and it would move up and down. Thinking that this was not assembled incorrectly, we had a Frigidaire serviceman check it out and he showed that the cooktop has 2 tabs that slide into 2 slots in the rear, with no way to secure it properly. We ordered a replacement range and when it was delivered, it was worse than the original, as it was loose on both sides of the rear cooktop. I refused delivery of this and kept the original and was able to fashion a wedge to tighten up the play in the loose slot. A poor design by Frigidaire. Other than that, we love this range.

The oven itself is great. Performs well. Induction burners are amazing. The install was done in a manner which indicates the installers don’t care about the quality of their work. I was not home when it was delivered. My mother in law who does not speak English was home. I arrived to find the unit about 5 inches away from the wall. I have a bad back, but I was able to push it back against the wall. It was very strange the way they left it. I called them to find out why they did that, but the install team and Best buy never followed up. They also did not level the unit properly. Perhaps someone from bestbuy will see this review and send someone out to level it.

I love cooking on this stove!! I can wipe the top of the stove while I am cooking. It reacts quickly to any temperature change and nothing has stuck to the bottom of my pans. The oven makes quite a bit of noise when baking and it is difficult yo get through to Best Buy to get service for it.

It works great! The induction cooktop is very easy to clean, very easy to control the temperature, and it heats water like lightning! It is a reasonable price induction range, not much more than typical gas or electric ranges. Cooking is much less smelly than the gas range we replaced, and the heat is faster and just as controllable as gas.

I am really enjoying the induction cooktop of this range. My only complaint (a minor one) is that I wish the manufacturer had made each range eye area easier to see, or it were easier to keep your pan centered on the eye. With a standard electric cooktop, you can see the element(s) glowing on the rangetop. With the induction cooktop, you don’t see anything, other than some hash marks in the cooktop, that helps you with centering your pan. These can be difficult to see.

You delivered 2 to my house and they both were damaged. Hopefully the third will be undamaged. operation of the unit is great and the results are excellent but be prepared to buy new pans if you are using aluminum pans without the proper coating. The stove will not recognize and will not heat up with aluminum.

The largest burner features a circle about 12 inches but the actual element is only about 8. You will have uneven cooking using a 12 inch cooking surface pan. The circle is just for show apparently and to deceive the buyer.

In general, this range is great and an excellent value. It is astonishing how quickly water comes to a boil, and I love that it feels more like cooking with gas than using an electric range.
The one challenge I have with it is the low-contrast between the burner markings and the stove top color. The lighting is pretty dim where we have the range installed, and I find it difficult to see the markings for the burners.

The unit failed within the first month, Frigidaire and their support partners have been very difficult to deal with. 6 weeks later and my over still doesn’t work. They blamed my electric panel for the failure. I had to pay for an electrician to come and tell me that my panel is perfectly fine and the issue is from the unit. My advice is, spend a bit more money and buy a unit from another brand.

An excellent induction stove, I don’t know why people would buy anything else.
One wonderful feature is if a pan is removed, the number flashes. When pan is returned, the induction continues. No error messages, very nice!
The only cons are:
1. The surface is shiny black, so everything shows up. Easily cleaned though!
2. The handle is tapered, so towels can get caught if removed at an angle. But there are no corners to hit so it’s a tradeoff.

When it worked, this stove was pretty good. It seemed like a massive upgrade over our old gas stove — and when it worked, it was. The oven was good, but not great, while the stovetop was a revelation.
Unfortunately, that’s not where the story ends.
Through five service appointments, 12+ hours on the phone with Frigidaire support, three service appointments cancelled by technicians (or no-call, no-shows), being hung up on by multiple support reps, and multiple instances of Frigidaire support just reading off a script instead of being willing to listen and solve issues, I can say for certain this stove isn’t worth it. Induction in general is great. The stove seemed to be decent when it worked. But if it does fail, only an act of god will get Frigidaire to support you.

This is the nicest and most efficient range I’ve ever owned, and believe me…I’ve owned more than I can count. I love the induction stove top. It heats up almost as quickly as a gas range and cools down as fast as it heats up.
The stove top cleans so easily as does the oven.
The digital controls are well lit and easy to maneuver.
All in all…..quality and beauty all in one range.

This was the best priced induction stove I could find with hood Consumer Report ratings. Seems to work well so far even though there is a slight learning curve with the operation of it. The buttons seem fussy about sensing finger touch. Hope it doesn’t get worse.

Induction FTW! This is the only model we could find with rear controls and could replace our old stove without having to remodel the whole kitchen. Works great, heats things in half the time, and no residual heat afterwards. Very efficient!

I received a defective unit at install. I contacted Best Buy and without going into the details the initial attempt at a resolution was a joke. Ultimately Best Buy Corporate got involved and while it took a bit to get a new replacement unit (about a month), that was taken care of and I was happy to finally get the issue resolved. The new unit is great. Both the induction stove top and convection bake work really well and these were 2 requirements for me.

We ordered this and the delivery date was 2 months out. We got everything ready and it was delivered, we plugged it in and… it did not work. The panel flashed on and then off, and then remained off and unresponsive, but just kept beeping over and over – seems like an issue with the electronics. We contacted Best Buy to get this fixed as we have been waiting 2 months for this… they said they won’t send anyone to look at it or fix it, that we have to exchange it, but they can’t exchange it today, so we have to wait and call tomorrow…. who knows how long this will be backordered to get another one. I can’t believe they won’t even try to fix it.

Great stove only downside was that quality control is not the best the stove had an error upon arrival luckily it was just a loose connector on a induction plate. I was able to plug that sucker in and has been flawless since. Would never go back to gas or a regular electric stove again!

About 6 months into using this I started getting an F022 (Communication failure) error when using the oven. Had both of the circuit boards replaced multiple times, and after a few months it starts happening again. The frigidaire phone support person told me that I wasn’t supposed to use the range and the oven at the same time. What? The warrantee expired on this, and I’m still getting the errors. When it works it’s GREAT, but when it is giving that error you cannot use the cooktop – you have to turn off the breaker. Not good in the middle of cooking dinner! Do not buy this model, and personally I will not consider Frigidaire because of the nice but totally incompetent customer support.

This is a good oven and range, but i took away two stars because the largest element is only 8 inches when it shows a nearly 12 inch outline on the stovetop. So if you hope to use a large pan to saute or fry eggs, only the center will get heated. Its really false advertizing. When buying an induction range, dig into the specs to be sure the element sizes are what you want!

I had this unit for over a year now and hands down the best upgrade I ever made. This thing boils a pot of water in under 2 min. I timed it. Oh and also a super huge air fryer. What are you waiting for? You do need to make sure you buy magnetic pans, but you should be using steel and cast iron anyway.
