    This microwave was purchased to free up counter space. In that endeavor we were successful. This was worth the wait. It works well. It’s part of the same brand we had in the other appliances. They are esthetically pleasing. You will mot be disappointed with the operation and function of this microwave.

    This replaced a 10 year old Maytag OTR oven. The new Gallery is a nice, more modern upgrade, and complements our other Gallery appliances all purchased within the past 2 years – refrigerator, oven, and gas cooktop. It is an attractive and affordable brand, nicely priced at Best Buy. The “+30 second” feature is a nice convenience, but I need to learn the sensor cooking option. The cooktop LED lighting underneath is so much brighter than my previous microwave, and the 2-speed fan (internal vent) with charcoal filter works well.

    Bought this Frigidaire microwave to replace an old Frigidaire microwave that had stopped working. The dimensions were right and I was hopeful that installation would be easier because I was replacing a Frigidaire. I was wrong. Installation was not easy. Switching the vent to the rear was not easy. Drilling the holes in the cabinet using the template provided was not easy. Holding up the microwave to see if the holes we drilled lined up was not easy. Taking the microwave down and putting it back up again after leaving out the holes and doing that several times was not easy and bent the wall support bracket. In the end we got it to work but it took a long time and was frustrating. If you can get installation for a reasonable price I would recommend it and leave it to the pros. Now on to the microwave itself. I like it a lot. It’s much quieter than the microwave I replaced. It heats well and quick. It has all the features I was looking for which were fast touch buttons for 1 minute 2 minutes 3 minutes etc plus the add 30 seconds button. It’s pretty. The fan is quiet but powerful. The under microwave lights are very bright and allow me to light up my stove top nicely. No complaints so far with the unit itself, just didn’t enjoy the installation.

    Frigidaire products last for very long and I decided to continue with over the range microwave. This microwave is quiet and you can see the food as it getting heated. I had an LG but is was very loud and dark so you could not what is being microwaved. The Center of the food is also warm so you don’t need to use a fork to stir the food and resume heating.

    I got this microwave as my old one went out on me and it matches perfectly with my dishwasher that I had to replace a year prior. It has some really nice features and it was fairly easy to install myself with the help of my son.

    We bought this microwave because of the fingerprint resistant feature and we have had nothing but trouble with it. The door does not line up properly and It keeps blowing fuses and i have replaced the fuse at least 14 times in 3 years. the first year it was fine but of course after the warranty is expired the fuses keep blowing. I would definitely not buy any Fridgidare appliance again. Definity disappointed because it is suppose to be a top notch microwave in the gallery design. Wasted money, and fridgidare when I called them only gave me a repair mans phone number for repair which we found out was very expensive and fridgidare also said that it had gotten many calls with this problem so my question is why didn’t they do something about this?

    I like this Microwave. It’s quiet. The light inside makes it really easy to see, and it seems to have enough power.

    My only real “negative” about this microwave, and it’s a Frigidaire thing, is the constant beeping when food is done. I don’t know who thought that up, but it’s annoying.

    The Frigidaire Gallery microwave has been a blessing. I did not realize how much I need this for re-heating, or quick pancakes for my grand daughter. The look is really sleek, even on the inside. Works excellent.

    Fits the opening beneath the cabinet perfectly. It has a nicer appearance than the previous model it replaced. Quieter fan & LED is much brighter. So pleased with the purchase.

    Worked well for 3 years, then started tripping the circuit breaker (microwave was the only thing on the circuit), eventually started making a loud buzzing noise and completely stopped working at 3 1/2 years. Worked fine up until that time. Am in a new neighborhood where we all have this brand/model and several have had similar or the same issues.

    Who cares if it has nice features, the number one feature should be, reliability. Don’t buy this microwave it pops the circuit breaker when starting and when you open to door to stop cooking. If your lucky, only the breaker, sometimes it’s the internal fuse and it’s a job to replace. Anyway it’s been fixed numerous times, so I just ordered a Maytag. I loose and I have a service agreement from Frigidaire.

    Lower heating temperature buttons are hard to push. Doesn’t allow you to set cook times easily. No dimmer for clock light, it’s very bright.

    This is the second Frigidaire Gallery microwave I’ve bought, the first one lasted 2 years. I wouldn’t have bought the same one twice, but it’s the only microwave that fits my space. Perhaps I’ll have better luck the second time around.
    Recommend an extended warranty.
    Delivery and setup was awesome!

    Great microwave. No complaints. I wanted a stainless steel finish. This was stated it was all black in front. Turned out it was stainless like I wanted. Just watch the descriptions they use for item u r looking at. It’s just what I wanted but I thought I was having to settle for a black one. I was pleased with the outcome.

    Companion microwave to my Frigidaire Gas Range. Performance is great and love the look. Only issue has been the fingerprint proof finish can peel when exposed to hiot temperatures from a gas range below. I needed a warranty door replacement. Be careful not to crank the BTU’s too high on a “Rapid Boil” burner.

    Got this microwave to replace my old gallery microwave that stopped working after 13 year’s, This new one heats food faster and the reheat features are excellent, turn table plate is much larger, also the led lights are great, much brighter than old bulbs, use it as a nightlight. Bottom line my first one lasted 13 years so I’m going with the quality and reliable that I know and look forward to many years of use with my new one.

    It was great when we fixed it .. 2nd day morning .. the handle started to melt and the chrome color thin layer started to get out ..

    Called Frigidaire and they offered to change the door but it will be with same matrial .. so it could happen again ..

    So i returned it back to bestbuy

    If u have electric stove top .. it will be probably fine .. if u has a gas real fire one .. the microwave won’t handle the heat

    This range looks fantasic and has so many fan options. I used the top vent that hooks up to a duct so I had to quarter turn the motor from factory settings. It moves a lot of air. It also has an oven feature I believe because it comes with a stainless steel rack. I also installed it myself with no help so I would say easy to install.

    Like the looks and details. Matched my existing Frigidaire kitchen. Delivery and installation was smooth efficient and cordial.
    Problem was it would burn the food directly below the emitter centered in the MW oven top,
    Exchange for new MW went easily, Best Buy was helpfull and willing to make things right, Delivery, installation and return are scheduled – fingers crossed.

    After 2.5 years of light to moderate use the handle broke because the ends are made of plastic. Big design flaw especially when a replacement handle is half the cost of the microwave itself! Now I have to try to manufacture something myself or get a new microwave because I’m not paying $180 just for the stupid handle.

    LOVE LOVE LOVE! My microwave was 12 years old, but the door latch went on it. Rather than put money into repairs, I decided to purchase a new one. I could not be any happier. The lights are much much brighter, it feels bigger inside, and the installation done by Best Buy was excellent!
