    Great portable AC. Had another brand that did well while it lasted but it gave it. Bought this Frigidaire because of the reviews and the smart features that it have. I turn on my AC 20mins before I get home to keep my room cooled. No complaints it is a smaller btu than my previous AC but this gets the room cooler faster and is very energy efficient.

    Works great , super cold, cools down my bedroom in less than 30 minutes, only issue was the connection hose came cracked. Besides that it works amazing.

    Not a bad portable AC unit, the filter does seem to get dirty pretty fast. But luckily you can just take them off and clean it. it did come with a wheel that was broken out of the box, but since its on carpet and not moved much I didn’t worry too much about it. Other than that, I just have a couple of issues with the Amazon Alexa where when you tell her about a command for the unit it says unit not responding but the unit does as the command said. (weird) App works fine but actual remote that came with it keeps disconnecting from unit somehow.

    For an average size bedroom this thing is perfect maybe even a little Overkill. I love the fact that it’s Wi-Fi capable I can turn it on and off make adjustments also check room temperature with my phone

    This air conditioner has a difficult time cooling as the vent hose gets far to hot to even touch heating up its surroundings. The vent hose heats up the space much faster than the air conditioner can cool. It fights against itself. This is not a good purchase.

    I was tired of having window ac units so i went with this. Cools down a toom much faster then any unit i had. Hard to get the wifi set up for me at least but everything else is as described, used it most of the summer and still going fine.

    Pretty awesome unit. It’s been pretty much maintenance free since I got it. I love the time aspect so I can fall asleep with it on but not have it run all night long if I don’t want it to.

    Pretty good unit. Works well. The way they packaged the unit was pitiful. It was very difficult to handle the flimsy box it came in. I was very careful loading it and unloading it from my SUV. I could have easily damaged it. You need at least 2 people to load the thing and you can’t lay it down or something will get broken. Driving with it standing up isn’t such a good idea. It could fall over during the ride home. I won’t buy anything from them again until I see how it’s packaged. So my rating only applies to the unit.

    We have this in our building for emergencies when A/C is not working in a unit. It cools a studio or one bedroom apartment very well. I would definitely buy another one if needed.

    This is an excellent a/c! However, whether you would call it portable depends on how you define that term. You can technically move it but it is not portable in the sense that you can just roll it to another room. You have to disconnect everything from the window (hoses, drain tubes, etc) A truly portable unit in an a/c for the house cannot exist as the hot air has to go somewhere, which requires a vent to the outside similar to a clothes dryer. This unit has been reliable and gets a room very cold. It is also fairly quiet and does not bother me while sleeping. Our central air does not treat the rooms equally so we use this A/C for the bedroom. Works Great!!

    Worked great for about 3 months, then ice built up and no longer cools. did all the regular maint. on it every week. was great while it worked but for the money, I expected it to last a lot longer than 3 months.

    I knocked two stars off for the following issues:

    1. Constantly deactivates while running for extended periods even when cooling is required. I know AC units need to cycle, but the off part of the cycle is much longer than it needs to be on this unit.

    2. The minimum temperature is 60 F or 16 C (and you can’t change to Celsius in the app, you have to use third-party IR devices to do this). This isn’t low enough of a temperature.

    3. The tube leaks air. So if it’s cold outside, the cold air will leak inside and cause the unit to register a temperature lower than it actually is.

    Yes, I use this during the winter because i feel very hot when I sleep.
