My grandmother recently started having issues with electronics. Being confused about how to use them. This device has solved her problems with the TV. Super easy to program and in the case of her TV, it came programmed to work!

I bought the “Flipper” for my mother, 90 years old with failing eyesight, no tech expertise, and less patience. With a regular remote she constantly turned TV on and cable off, or vice versa, then call me, 20 minutes away, expecting me to fix it. The Flipper has been a wonderful solution.

Bought this for my 91year old mother in law. I could not get it to work. If I set the TV section, the STB would not work. And vise versa. Tried everything. Maybe it was the old visio plasma she had. I returned the item and am now working on teaching her to use the STB remote. Really sucks!

I gave this to my grandparents and it was perfect. Big buttons for them to press as hard as they want. Unfortunately if they wanted to press the specific channels they wanted, the buttons were a bit small. For simplicity, A+, but because the buttons for specific channel numbers were tiny, 1 star off.

This product has worked out great for my 91 year old friend who has trouble with the newer TV remotes that have a lot of small buttons. He would always be pushing the wrong button and causing his TV to
malfunction right. After receiving his new remote he hasn’t had any problems with finding a program or having his TV to malfunction.

Needed for my husband who has Alzheimer’s and always pushing wrong buttons on regular remote. Works fine but programming it was a nightmare. Took me about 1 1/2 hrs total

Excellent remote for the elderly.
We didn’t have to do any setup for it to to used.

This remote is great for my grandmother. This remote has simplified the operation of her TV and cable box. Programming was simple just like the instructions and YouTube had stated. A great remote for grandma, she cam see the buttons and handle the remote without an issue. I would recommend this remote for any older folks.

I purchased the remote for my Mother who is 90 and has Alzheimers. The remote is perfect for her. Unlike with normal remotes, she can actually see what buttons are for because they are spelled out in large enough letters, and she can work the power, volume and channel buttons without getting confused by a lot of other buttons that show on most remotes. Plus she can’t accidentally push the wrong thing with all the other buttons hidden. This remote is great, so glad I found it.

Great remote for my visually impaired 93 year old uncle. The large, color coded buttons enable him to select different channels and adjust the volume. Thank you for making this remote available.
Laurie –
This remote was exactly what my mother needed when she couldn’t remember how to use the larger remote. You can program 25 channels and then they will have only 5 buttons to deal with – on, volume up and down, channel up and down. Highly recommend

Keeps losing its memory. Need to reprogram all the time.

Bought this remote for my 96 year old grandmother and she loves it. She has low vision and the remote doesn’t have a bunch of small numbers for changing the channels – just basic up and down for volume and changing channels. One button for off and on.
Bobbie –
My mother, who is in her 90’s, kept hitting extra buttons on her normal remote and disconnecting from the cable when she pressed “input” by accident. Since getting this simpler one with larger buttons, I haven’t had to reboot her TV once!

Bought for my mom who had trouble with her regular remote. Other had to many buttons.

Got this for my 92 year old Grandfather. Works great he is blind in one eye and can’t read small print. I looked all over before finding this remote and couldn’t find any better.

I was told by Best Buy this would work on a TCL tv and not only does it not work on a TCL it is junk. The volume buttons are opposite to what they should be the up turns it down the down turns it up and the channels do not change at all. Watched and followed a few you tubes and still did not work. Why did Best Buy tell me it would work?

Bought this for my 82 year old mother that could not work the Spectrum remote with its 60 little buttons. This remote does everything she needs with 5 BIG buttons. You can program up to 15 channels. It’s perfect for her.

I thought that this was the answer to my 91 year old mother. She has a Panasonic TV. I couldn’t get it to work, so I got the maintain gentleman at her home to help. We/he could get the on/off button to work and the volume to work, but not the channel button.
Luckily, he had another device that could work. I am now out $40 bucks for the one that I bought at Best Buy.
Looked like one that my mom could use, but not if it can’t change channels.

Very elderly relative on Xfinity at his care home. The Comcast remotes way too small for his poor vision – plus, even the Comcast tech couldn’t pair the remote with both TV and STB. So, this low vision elder has to juggle two remotes – often forgetting which is which and totally turning off the tv that is his one sanity during the day.
Bought this primarily because of the large buttons – but once I watched a YouTube video about “learning mode” on this remote is was literally a snap of the fingers to get it paired with the TV. And, thank you company who makes this remote, right on the instructions 1st page was the code for the Xfinity STB/Cable box.
My relative loved that he now has 1 remote that does everything he needs on his tv – he loved it so much that he now wants another remote for the tv in the other room.
So rare to find anything that actually helps seniors/those who low vision. Thanks a million

Probably the best remote you can find for people with dementia. Instructions for set up are terrible. Check YouTube before you throw the thing across the room.
