The water dispenser leaks water down the front of the unit potentially damaging your kitchen flooring. Ridiculous for a unit at this price point. Fisher & Paykel missed the quality mark on this product. One should just spend less on a model without the water dispenser, since it doesn’t work and will cost you more to fix your floor.

The fridge that this replaced was from the 80s, so the first great thing is that everything is the correct temperature. You can select any temp with the neat small integrated panel inside the fridge. It uses space wisely and neatly without bulging plastic. I much prefer this flat front with squared handles to the typical bulbous designs you find in regular refrigerator lines. The water dispenser is flat on the front (which I like) and you can lock it to prevent accidents.

This review is 24 hours after the installation. This is counter depth fridge. If the cabinet opening is 36” wide, 24” deep, and 74” height, this is the right size to fit. The shelves on the doors are small. A gallon of milk will not fit in the door shelves. The compartment shelves could be adjusted to fit a large size of food. At first, I had issue with the water dispenser because right after the Best Buy team left, it started to drip water. I was about to call the BB team but I looked in to the manual. Yes, it is normal to drip water for a few days as manual states but it stopped dripping in 24 hours. There is no dripping water anymore. Also, I would say that in about 24 hours, I had almost a full bin of ice. The manual states that the first bin of ice might be discolored but the one I got is crystal clear, however, I still will discard it. I recommend right after the installation to do exactly as manual states. Each manufacture has its own setup requirements and it is imperative to follow them to avoid any complication with the product.
This is such a beautiful and gorgeous refrigerator. It does not look like other brands, it has a sleek and slim look. The stainless steel is a different quality than it used to be. I simply wipe the fridge with a wet cloth and a little bit of dish detergent and then wipe it again with a dry microfiber cloth. It works perfectly. The manual recommends the cleaning methods as well.

Love the look of this refrigerator. So far, working well and is pretty quiet. I like the shape of the ice cubes. Water dispenser does not turn off instantly so you have to learn to keep your cup in place for a few. Took several months to get it as it was back ordered, but It was worth the wait.

This refrigerator is perfect for my needs! I have a 36” wide opening but it is next to a wall and therefore had to have my LG extend 5-6” into the room just to be able to open the doors – there was no point in having a counter-depth. This Fisher-Paykell is 30” wide so that it can sit all they way back, but it is also taller than most of the same width so it appears to fill the space. It has a beautiful exterior. The excellent design of the interior gives me almost the same usable space as our previous LG. Our kitchen is part of a great room so we no longer feel the refrigerator is sticking out dividing the the family room, and also importantly this refrigerator is absolutely silent! I have never heard the motor once.

Love the slim and sleek design as well as the handles. Love the squared drawers of the freezer. The ice machine doesn’t make ice very fast even in the quick freeze mode. Wish the fridge was a little bigger. Could be a little wider so that it fits in a 33″ wide space.

I love it!! But the water hook up was horrible. They included plastic lines and the attachment at the back of the fridge is NOT designed well. The male attachment valve is sunken in and straight upwards, so u can’t attach and stew on a better water line assembly. And at these prices that should b corrected, and they should include better water line hardware. Unfortunately they probably don’t have any incentive to improve these things because I was not able to find any other competitors that have a product w the same size/dimensions. That being said, so far, I’m really happy w the product. It looks great and is functioning great so far. I’ve only had it for a month. 🙂

Great fridge fits perfect in the small space that we have ,it also gives us more room in our kitchen and it was very easy to hook up the water for the ice and water dispenser (i popped off the clip that holds the water line from kinking then popped it back on after I connected the water line ).The only thing we feel could be a little faster is the ice maker but overall the fridge is perfect for us . We are very happy with this fridge .

Nice fridge for a small space. My only complaint is that F&P doesn’t offer a filter bypass and the icemaker/dispenser won’t operate without a filter so if you have a reverse osmosis system (as we do) the icemaker and dispenser are all but useless. I realize the manufacturers like to make their $60/quarter on filters but this is a significant oversight for a higher end brand to make

Excellent quality inside and out. Only has two adjustable shelves which is inconvenient. Door shelves could be a little deeper to allow for larger items. My main reason for the purchase is I have a very limited area for refrigerator, 35 inches.
Replacement –
The fridge is good, however, we have had a cracked waterline for ice maker since day one. We were told by repair people the fridge would have to be replaced. That was on April 18, 2022. We are having a very difficult time getting any answers from FP in NZ. We are getting very frustrated and would like an answer and of course a new fridge since they say it cannot be repaired.

Overall very disappointed. The fridge itself is gorgeous but the freezer does not close all the way. The freezer also creates chunks that push it away from the seal when the ice maker is in use, so the ice maker is pretty much useless. Super frustrating to come home to water melted everywhere and everything in my freezer not frozen. Save your money and buy something that works.

Nice fridge. Counter depth added room to our kitchen. Smaller than the fridge it replaced but plenty of room for everything.
Waited 3 months for it and upon installation it had a leak. Was replaced in 3 more days with one without defects.

This unit, which isn’t cheap is making a loud noise all day and night intermittently. I called the F&P service had a technician come out which I had to stay home for from work only to have them look at me like I’m crazy because the unit was quiet upon arrival. What a waste of money and time.

Two months in and couldn’t be happier. Replaced a 36″ side by side that didn’t work with our new kitchen layout. Plenty of storage space, I notice no difference from the previous fridge. I no longer have items falling out on me every time I go into the freezer, with the side by side it was an adventure getting items out. The temperature and humidity controls are excellent, our produce stays fresher weeks longer than from the previous fridge. Ice maker makes plenty of ice, also wanted an internal filter as opposed to the other models with an exterior filter. Fit and finish are top quality, temperature controls are spot on. It was worth the wait, extremely pleased so far.

I needed a very specific size refrigerator and this Fisher & Paykel was the best option I found that would fit. I love the features of this refrigerator. I wasn’t sure if I would miss an automatic ice maker, and I don’t. When needed the Ice Boost works well and the bottle chiller is a nice feature. I was concerned about the capacity, but for a small household it holds everything needed.
