    The best farcry by far, it was so good i had to get the goty edition. The story kept me on the edge of my seat for most of it, just wish it lasted longer.

    If you want more Far Cry, then this is just more Far Cry. Gameplay and exploration can be fun. However the majority of the NPCs aren’t really interesting and after a short time the missions blur together. Dani Rojas is a great protagonist and I do like that the cutscenes are in third person perspective. Giancarlo Esposito is excellent as Anton Castillo but Dani barely interacts with him. The map feels too big and there are so many repetitive tasks to do. But if you want to wreak havoc and kill thousands of people with fireworks, CDs, and exploding sniper bullets, then this game can be fun for you.

    It’s a Farcry game that’s for sure I paid $10.00 for it and so not feel ripped off. Could be better that’s for sure game world feels pretty static.

    This is an excellent game. It is a little depressing to play because of the revolutionary setting. I think that’s realistic, too. You don’t see a revolution in a country where things are great and fun. But it’s still a little grindy. You have to complete side quests to unlock upgrades to your weapons. There’s a lot to this game though. I’ve read reviews about how boring this is, but I did read one reviewer say that if you haven’t played a Far Cry game, this is the one for you. And that’s held true for me. I do like this game. The main story is a little slow to develop, kinda like GTA. And it isn’t amazing, but it isn’t bad. The characters are a little interesting. You can play as a gal or a guy (I chose the man). The AI is decent. Better than what I’ve seen from others playing the new PS5 Hitman. And this comes with a PS5 download if I recall. So you can sell the disc but keep your download. It’s a cool little game and if you buy this on sale, it’s a steal. Lots of work went into this game, and it should be priced higher and would be if it didn’t repeat much of its predecessors (also improving them apparently).

    One of the better story driven fps games to release in the past few years. As usual, this game has fantastic writing and storytelling with its villain, who is played wonderfully by Giancarlo Esposito.

    What an absolute disgrace to the FarCry franchise. Seriously. The acting from “Gus” was top notch, and the female voiced protagonist was solid, but the graphics were subpar, the story was unimaginative, the bulk of the dialogue and missions fostered ZERO investment in the characters or stories of the game!

    If I had to compare this to another game in the franchise, this was no better than FC2 – overall.

    FC3 and FC5 are the best of the series, hands down!

    Oh, and this game was pretty glitchy (at least on PS4). If you can get a copy for a few bucks – have at it, but don’t waste anything more than $5 on a festering pile like this one (statements based on the expectations for AAA games being to certain tiers of quality, development, and value for the cost of the games these days).

    Big thanks to Giancarlo Esposito for providing the rewarding cutscenes that made slogging through this overpriced dumpster fire almost tolerable.
