    This is one of my favorite radar to use besides the uniden r7. Cant go wrong with either of them. Difference is the escort updates by itself with wifi, and uniden is manual update. But both are great radars for your money.

    It’s pricey, but works really well! If price is not an issue, this is a must. If I do have a complaint, it’s the app. The app uses so much of my phone battery even while connected. It’s useful and accurate, just constantly draining. Hoping that future updates to the app will solve this challenge.

    Have owned other radar detectors. This one however is superb to all others. It has super long range and does not deliver near as many false alarms. I don’t purposely drive fast but live in area where there are constant speed traps and this just alerts you when one is set up so you can check your speed long before you get to it.

    I’ve run three Escort radar detectors (Original RedLine, Max360c, and the RedLine 360c) at the same time to test the performance with the same settings as far each machine will allow for in Highway mode with only Ka 2,5,8,9 segments on; both Max 360c and Redline 360c have the latest firmware and software updates.
    Of these, the original Redline actually picks up the fastest but only if the radar is from the front. That said, the new Redline 360c is also close, < 1 sec., to picking up the same radar, but has better performance when detecting radars from sides and rear of my vehicle.

    I used to use the older Redline for my sport bike and car. It’s range was unparalleled & perfect for rural riding/driving. I used to salivate over the V1’s arrows though. Fast forward..bought a V1g2 a few months ago. Love the new design however I’d more falses in town. This w/the latest updates. Sold it to a friend & bought the new Redline 360c. It’s $$$, but if you’re going to spend the money, spend it well and you can’t go wrong with this model. It’s worked GREAT right out of the box and it has arrows! Mounted with Blendmount for a seamless look & ease of use.

    I’ve been using escort radar detectors for over 30 years and nothing can compare to this one. It’s sensitivity and range is incredible and it filters out false signals where my previous Escort detector would regularly go off. Expensive but worth it!

    Range is amazing ,GPS lockout is convenient, but it is expensive. I like the Redline more than my Valentine G2. I would definitely recomend. Only reason for giving four stars is because of the price.

    I love it, it tells you exactly where the cop is at from 2 miles away and if they get closer than the sound gets louder and trust me, you will not get pulled over when you hear it. Slow down I drive super fast with it and I thank God never got pulled over. Yes it is a bit pricey but I promise you it’s way worth your money. Think about you getting pulled over two times. That’s the same of the price very worth it

    Well folks I bought myself this Redline model of escorts and so far it’s been great on distance, nice and quiet. Like many other folks I did my research as well as speaking with other radar enthusiasts and Redline the way to go..

    Honestly I didnt even know what exactly a radar did and I’ll admit this was an impulse-buy due to recieving a speeding ticket. I’ve had friends who use radars and I remember hearing that annoying little beep so often that it felt like it never stopped. This is the first time I own a radar and for the first week I was freaking out because I didnt think it was working since I never heard it at all. I did some research and watched walkthroughs for settings in the Drive Smarter app and I was amazed by how accurate this thing is. It detects the laser from a very far distance so you dont have to slam on the breaks immediately. Overall this thing is hands-down one of my favorite things I own. Its a little on the expensive side but from my ecperience with it, I feel it’s absolutely worth every cent.

    TLDR: I returned it and went with the Uniden R8. I would recommend the R8 over the 360c based on value (you can get the R8 on sale for $120-$150 less) and the sluggish performance.

    Testing: Ran the R8 for a week then ran the 360c afterwards. Both were configured the same way Vortex Radar recommended

    Performance: 3.5/5 Less K band false alerts than the R8 for sure out of the box. Being able to mute specific frequencies and notches is a very nice touch. The auto mute function unfortunately muted a K-band as CHP had radar gun out. I didn’t even get the prompt for KA let alone radar. Huge disappointed for the price. Red light cameras trigger all the arrows to go off and not in the direction of where the red light camera is..

    Design: 5/5 The build quality you would expect from something of this price range. Functional arrow, bright screen and lots of tactile bumps on the arrow to help you navigate if you’re driving at night

    Features: 4/5 You’ll definitely want to setup bluetooth and pair with the app to make changes easier. Unfortunately, they offer a subscription service to use their database. For the price range, it should be included given how slow updates roll out.

    I had the previous generation Escort IX. The 360c Redline is infinitely better. It’s significantly quieter on the false alerts and the dual antenna setup works incredibly well. I have not used the full set of features but the setup is simple and range is spectacular. Expensive but highly recommended.

    Saved me from a ticket on the very first day I installed it. I did a road trip across the state with my corvette, and on the way, a challenger was being speeding with me on the highway. we would both let on and off the gas to let the exhausts sing with one another, but then my radar went off alerting me that there was an officer up ahead. I slowed down, patted my head to let the Dodge know, and we both passed the highway patrol officer at legal speeds thus not getting pulled over for what would have been a rather expensive speeding ticket and perhaps a state ref for our exhausts.
