    Well worth every penny it pays for itself within the first few times it save you from a ticket!!!! Worth the investment and works so good distance it detects is incredible. Was driving home yesterday from out of town it went off several miles before i seen the cop.

    So far so good. The Escort Max 660 MKII picks up Ka band detectors that are on entrance ramps ahead of me pointing in the direction of cars passing the detector. It also does very well picking up signals from behind, The red light and speed camera detection works great, driving through NYC and Long Island they informed you of there whereabouts even when you were driving on the highway.

    I had the escort 360maxc for about 8 years and it finally gave out on me so went with this model as an upgrade and have zero complaints. Its the same setup with a newer look. Absolutely love it.

    I had the Escort passport and after doing much research I’m glad I went I upgraded to this model. The false alerts are much better. The app work great with the detector. I like the customization you can do on the setting for the city you live in.

    Seems to work ok. If a cop leaves thier radar on it picks it up from a ways away. If they are just picking random cars its ussaly to late and goes off after they would have got you. I think its a little expensive for what you get.

    *This unit is capable of detecting radar at an impressive range. Also has a ton of adjustments you can make from the app. The reason for the three star rating is because the app is very glitchy and only works sporadically. The coolest features of this detector require the app to function properly. Hopefully they will make some updates soon that will fix the issues.

    I’ve been using the Escort MAX 360 MKII for about a month and have found that it is a marked improvement over my older MAX 360 MKI in several ways.
    The first and most important to me is that the number of false warnings is markedly lower, particularly in areas I freqquently drive through. Usually, by the third time I drive through an area that triggers false alarms, the MKII has “Learned” that area and no longer falses.
    The second is the MKII seems to detect KA band signals about 20% earlier than the older MKI. Recently, I was traveling on I-80 when the MKII detected a KA signal in front of me (like all 360s, it tells you which direction the signal is coming from). I slowed down and started to look for where the signal was coming from. Remarkably, it was almost 2 miles later when I finally passed the offending state police cruiser,
    A new feature I especially like is the magnetic lock to attach the MKII to the windshield cup, which makes removing it and placing it in an inconspicuous place a snap. The older MKI was used a physical connector that made removing/replacing the unit from the windshield cup a bit fussy.
    The one con is the signal tones, which sound a lot more like my much older Escorts. The MKI tones are decidedly less annoying and more distinct as to which radar band is being deteced.
    After three decades of radar detector ownerhsip, I have found that Escort detectors have consistently been at the top of detection range even over other brands costing much much. That’s not to say the Escort brand is cheap, they’re not, but you get what you pay for and if it saves you from even one speeding ticket, it paid for itself in terms of time, money and aggravation.

    This is my second Escort Radar. I absolutely love it! Let’s just say it has saved me more than once from a hefty ticket. Its range has significantly improved from the first generation and is sleeker. Don’t skimp on trying to buy a cheap one, it’s worth it to pay a bit extra.
