    So far seems to be a good radar detector. I have always had Escort and some with a little more features. This seems to go off a lot with no police spotted so still trying to determine the reason.

    It works smoothly, it’s pretty sensitive which is nice considering it’s purpose. Love the fact it will store repeat alerts so they aren’t always annoying you when you go past that speed sign.

    This radar has saved me from several tickets and I have only had it a month or so. Someone gave me an old escort and I used it until the volume went out. Once the volume went out I purchased this radar because I was so happy with the radar I was given. If you speed , buy an escort radar. Simple

    For the price, I would rather get a cobra. The radar detector overheats if any sun hits it, and spazes out until it cools down. App is very basic

    Driving from Colorado to Chicago ,Escort max 3 made it easier ,safer and faster travel for my family .There are plenty of radar detected ,and a split of a second laser was detected and I immediately reacted toward a safer driving .Even the police that is hiding in the middle of a highway was spotted by escort.Story short NO TICKETS!

    Worst radar false alerts left and right, will sense the Ka band “real one-cop” too late. costumers should not have to deal with issues like ” do you have the latest firm ware update or its located on the high side of the windshield or lower” this is garbage, i do have the same issues like everyone else that rated 1 star or less. I have contact manufacture was told to send it in for re-calibration, ill be following up after the “repair-re-calibration” I have an older M70 that performs better even with some false alerts but it out performed the Maxx 3 all day long.
