I purchased this to print pictures that I have saved on my computer. The reviews I read made me want to purchase this printer and it works great.

I had used an Epson PictureMate PM for probably 15 years (maybe longer), printing my pictures all the time. I loved the size and convenience of the entire printer. It was easy to use and had great quality. Unfortunately, this printer is now a bit larger, and the quality has went down. The whole reason I print my own photos is so that the color is correct (ever wonder why photos printed at Walgreens are just bad — the color isn’t correct!). This printer just didn’t do the job the way the last ones did. Sadly, it was returned.
PieceOfYouKnowWhat –
This printer drops the whole setup over and over again, requiring you to, very annoyingly, go through the entire setup be listening to hundreds of beeps as you punch in your entire network name and password in again, and it is very case sensitive. After which it might just not accept it for some reason, believe it or not! Also it does not always recognize paper size. Would love a refund.

An amazing, powerful, high-quality photo printer. I’m thinking, “Where have you been all my life?!” I bought this to take to scrapbooking retreats. It’s so annoying to print all of my photos from trips, then toss half of them. Such a waste! Now I can go to the retreats, print only the photos I want, and SAVE MONEY! Now not a problem that CostCo has discontinued their photo service!
Four of my friends have this same printer. It’s easy to discern which printer is whose when all are connected on the same WiFi, using Bluetooth.
The interface is simple to use. A Wizard helps you through an easy step-by-step process to connect to the WiFi.
One annoying feature is that with every push of the button, there is a beep. Discovered, it is easy to turn that off under the Settings. You can quickly change which size paper you are printing to, and the cartridge lasts forever (or so it seems)! I printed a couple hundred photos at least on the FREE CARTRIDGE that you get with the printer. The quality was consistent.
Beware: do not use photo quality paper that is for laser printers. I had a ream that I was going to cut to size and use, but the paper did not accept the ink and the colors/ink smeared. Live and learn.
Lastly, I discovered you can use the Epson App to bundle multiple photos for printing on same size OR you can just open a photo (JPG) and use your normal FILE/PRINT option. I printed with both my iPhone and my Surface laptop. Both were equally efficient and simple.
I also inserted regular cardstock to print a quick sentiment that worked on one of my scrapbook pages! So it’s not dependent only on photo paper.

Love this printer…does a great job printing 4x6s!
Only problem I experienced was second time I used it…was only printing off 1/6th of the photo. Turns out a microsoft “upgrade” supposedly messed up the settings. I tried numerous ways to fix it but the Epson customer service person helped me resolve.

I really wanted this to work. I feel like this company needs to put out a newer model. The concept was perfect but the delivery was not. Out of the box this printer was easy to hook up to my network and connect to my phone. But when I went to print a 4X6 photo it distorted the picture. The print quality was not acceptable nor were the colors. Sadly it was not to my liking. So I returned it.

This is a great compact printer that prints three different sized prints. The print quality is far better than the Canon Selphy. Pictures print quickly, and no need to tear off ends like with the Canon Selphy. The Epson paper is good quality, but I like that you can use other brands, as I wasn’t able to find Epson paper in the 3.5×5 inch size. I really like this printer so far after about a month’s use!

Great overall picture printer; limited to 4×6 or 3×5 but quality is excellent. Set up simple easy and took less than 5 minutes. Sync’d quickly with wifi. Prints the pictures fairly quickly and quietly. Very happy with the purchase. Very small compact foot print; if needed, it’s easily transportable.

Recently switched to the Epson Picturemate 400 after having two Canon SELPHY printers jam on me. I am really happy with the picture quality so far on the Epson. Colors are bright and crisp. My only complaint would be that the size of this printer is noticeably bigger than the Canon.

It’s ok. Way over priced! For the price it should be a full size photo printer capable of prints up to 8×10. I only purchased because I was in desperate need of a photo printer for a memorial service that was not a HP and this was the only thing I could find available in my area at the time. Be sure to use quality photo paper otherwise prints are not as crisp.

Look no further. I put a ton of research into which photo printer is the most cost-efficient long-term, and this is the one. I had to do a TON of photo prints for a work event and the cartridges print about 100 photos, instead of 20-40 like other printer cartridges. The paper itself by epson is also a great deal. The prints look spectacular and the process of printing is very easy!
