I needed to find a Wide Format Printer since I print on glossy paper of different sizes that go up to 13 x 19. I found that the Epson Expression HD XP-15000 was the Perfect Fit for my needs. Very easy to set up and start Printing. You can choose which options you want either thru the Software on your Computer or thru the onboard controls on the LCD screen on the adjustable front panel. Ink for this printer comes in Regular and XL Sizes and Prices for ink are very reasonable. You have a 6 color ink Cartriges which include Red and Grey (which come in the XL Size Only).
The Prints from this Printer are absolutely Astonishing! Definitely worth the investment.
If you want a Wide Format Printer with reasonably priced ink cartridges, beautiful Prints, and don’t want to make the jump to the way more expensive Eco-Tank Models, then the Epson – Expression Photo HD XP-15000 is for You!
This printer can be set up through USB or Wifi ( I always us the USB Option, personally!) The LCD controls are easy to use. You have Options for many different Printing Papers and Sizes. Excellent Printer for my needs.
You can also use the Plastic Wrapping that comes in the packaging as a Dust Cover.

I have only printed a few 8 x 10’s so far. The prints look very good. I’m still learning some of the technical steps to print. Seems to extra, unnecessary steps in some of the processes. Best Buy was very efficient with ordering, updates, and in store pickup. No complaints so far.

I was in search of a new printer, specifically for pictures, without breaking the bank. After some research, I ended going with the Epson Expression XP-15000. Set up was very easy and required little to no effort. The ink cartages were easy to install.
Had a few pictures printed in both color and black & white. The quality of the pictures are amazing. The color photos are variant and rich, black & white photos are clear and have depth.
Overall, I’m very impress with the quality and resolution of the photos.

Excellent photos but will use a lot of ink. I went through the small, demo ink cartridges that they supplied making one 13″ X 19″ print, The print I made I deliberately picked for its range of colors. Using some inexpensive glossy paper, the print was fantastic with vibrant and accurate colors.

This printer beautiful but the cartilage run out quickly even the XL’s carriage don’t last with a large print count. I didn’t have this printer long and now it requires a maintenance box. I didn’t know ones exist. But the print quality is good.

Great printer for the price, and it has rear feed which is hard to find (for heavy paper).
But its max resolution is only 360. My smaller Epson all-in-one 7100 does 720.
Also, unlike the 7100, Windows shows a print dialog that does not list all the paper options. I use a particular Epson paper (a common one) that does show up as a choice for the 7100, but not for this printer.
And, next time, I’m going to get one that uses bottles instead of cartridges for ink. The cartridges are $$$ and the cost is killing me.

Ive had the printer for about a year. I use mainly the top feed printer part of this. However I need to print regular documents once in awhile. Recently I had to print a 14 page document. I have 6 sheets of “jammed” paper sitting here. I had to clear jams out of this so often it took me 20 minutes to print 14 sheets of paper. It would attempt to grip the paper, pull it an inch out of the tray and jam. its brand new paper that has worked with other printers but not this one. It is a photo printer and does a good job at it but I was really thinking it could handle just a basic print job better then this.

My printer is not working well on glossy paper. The ink drips and doesn’t adhere to the paper, I have to use matte paper which isn’t sharp or vibrant. I’m not too thrilled with this printer.

As an inkjet printer, this does a great job compared to toner-based copier-printers. Colors and gradients are beautiful with the dedicated paper. Connectivity is good; but if you are printing hi-res or high-memory files it is probably best to be hard-wired with a USB cable (as it does not come with one). It will tell you when ink is low; but if you choose to run your ink to the end, be aware that you could run out of ink in the middle of a print and it will terminate the print job in the middle of the print and you will loose that sheet of potentially expensive paper. I love the printer as a whole but there are some cheap and flimsy parts to it like the trays to hold 11×17 and bigger paper. Results are overall excellent. Build quality is typical (cheapish plastic), ink is expensive and really available online mostly; but the results are great. Four stars for now. It would have been five stars if the materials were more readily available and lower cost. Very pleased overall and would not expect better for the money. Good value for making great looking tabloid prints on premium Epson paper.

This printer is very loud. It has to be reset when you switch from the front paper feed to the rear feed. Nothing in the owners guide about that – Customer Service was abrupt. I wish I had purchased a different printer.

For the money, the 15000 makes excellent photo prints. I had to get rid of an Epson Surecolor 600 because of ink clogging issues. Apparently dye printers are not as susceptible to clogging. Still, the quality of the prints is excellent.
The quality of the hardware is a bit suspect, however. It seems a bit flimsy, but, again, it is not a heavy duty pro printer.

Produces great images, easy to use, fast printer, quiet, and offers great paper size variety. Ink dries amazingly quick and no smudges-don’t mind still using the cartridges. Lastly, love the small footprint-sure it’s wide but it’s light and fits anywhere.

Super high quality, and able to print on very heavyweight fine art watercolor paper (which is what I needed). I have had a little trouble with ink, for a few reasons: 1) it runs out pretty quickly when printing art or photos, 2) in big batches, I started getting a few drips or spots from ink cartridges occasionally, and 3) when trying to replace my ink with legitimate, correct Epson-brand cartridges, it took several tries to get them to read properly when installed (ultimately we found that you have to replace only one color at a time, and it may take a few tries of taking it out and putting it back in). All in all it’s still a great value for print quality and the materials it can handle, just a few hitches here and there.
