This printer is good for small/med size business or a home business that needs all the functions. It’s nice having 2 paper trays on the front of the printer that can be set for individual sizes like 8×10 photo,4×6 photo, envelopes, standard and legal paper. For special projects there is a paper slot on back to fit those custom forms.
The ecotank on this model is huge and almost holds two full bottles of ink unlike the wasteful small cartridges. The printer uses pigmented ink so the pictures and projects look amazing as good going to a photo processor.
The printer is faster than my office printer and has auto maintenance cycles to prevent the ink from drying in the jets. The paper finish tray can be pushed in after the job is complete and when you print the next time it will auto extend it for you. What an awesome feature.

I’ve had this printer for a week and have utilized it as my fundamental printer in my home office. It has been great thus far. Starting, setup takes no time than other printers but connecting to the WIFI is took a better part of the time. The printer works incredible for shading, dark and white, or reports. The printer accompanies four extra ink cartridges. Additionally, the substitution ink cartridges are reasonably priced. I don’t have any stress when I need to print out any documents or reports. Remote printing works fantastic. I was able to add the printer to my network effortlessly. On my iPhone, I can utilize the Air-print to print work documents and school papers. Epson even has a feature called Epson Connect where they assign an email address that you can use to print photographs and documents on the printer from any gadget that has email from any location. Generally, this printer gives remarkable incentives too and is an incredible printer for home & office utilization. Print quality is awesome and it prints and duplicates quick. The ink tanks are anything but difficult to fill and are cheap.
The wireless printing compatibility is a great feature and convenient, it makes printing from my phone quick and I have not had any issues with the Air-print feature so far. The display screen on the printer is bright and easy to understand and control, it even extends out. I am enjoying using the printer. It does not take up much space on my desk, no clutter with wires. The printer is designed nicely and looks professional and performs great and hassle-free with daily use. Awesome printer!! When I received my Epson ET-5880 it was every easy to unpack. Setting up
the machine was easy and very self-explanatory. Loading the ink was really easy,
however, I spilled a little when extracting one of the bottles from the machine.
Now setting up the computers is a different story. On the first computer I downloaded the software and drivers. I installed the software and followed all the instructions that it
told me to do. I was setting up a wireless connection. When I was finished, I was only able to scan documents, not print them. So, I went through the process again and used a USB connection and everything works flawlessly now. On the second computer I set it up for a wireless connection and had no problems at all.
It prints very fast and very very quietly. Everything I print or scan comes out very crisp.
I have already recommended it to family and friends. The printer I had before this was an HP multifunction printer. This Epson blows it out of the water. From this point on I will always have an EPSON.

Installation and setup of this printer was very straightforward and easy. I set it up and then started exploring all its features and there are many, which is nice. I love how crisp and clear all printing and copying is, big improvement over my last printer.
I love that there are two paper trays and I can use multiple sizes of paper. Loading the ink into the printer was not difficult at all and I feel very secure that I won’t run out anytime soon since it prints 7500 black ink and 6000 color ink pages!

I am very happy with this Epson printer! The unboxing process was very easy along with the set up. The printer isn’t small, but it is compact enough to fit on my desk nicely. It is very sturdy and appears to be made well. It did not take me long at all to get it up and running. I was able to get my phone connected through the Epson iPrint app and I used the online software to get connected from my computer. It was a seamless process that went quickly. It can seem like a daunting task to get new products set up but this was a breeze. Putting the ink in was simple and I love that there are no cartridges! The ink will last longer and no more throwing out cartridge after cartridge every time I run out of ink. The touch screen is just the right size and makes the process of using the printer very easy. It walks you through any task that you are trying to do.
The printing quality is wonderful! I have printed documents in both black and white and color along with pictures as well and they have been vibrant and precise. I am happy with the speed of the printing as it is fairly quiet. Another awesome feature is that the tray comes out automatically to catch the paper when I print. It is great not to have to remember to open and close the tray. No more paper all over the place when I forget! This printer holds a lot of paper and since there are multiple drawers, I can keep different sizes already loaded and ready to go. This printer meets all of my needs from scanning, to faxing to printing and so far, I have been very happy with it.

The epson eco tank pro all in one is the best printer i have used thus far. It uses minimal ink compared to others so i can print more with less ink used. When printing pictures they come out clear without streaks like other printers do. The epson eco tank has a great refresh rate so i can quickly print multiple projects without wasting time.
I have tried several features the printer offers and they have been flawless. I can’t wait to try out the rest of the features, and to see how many sheets of paper i can use before i need to replace the ink.

This printer has come in handy with the recent mandatory quarantine due to Coronavirus. We were in need of printer to use at home, since we were unable to bring the printers home from our small business. I was also in need of a printer since I am now having to teach my children at home. Right out of the box, it was easy to set it up. It is a pretty large printer, but looks really neat with the sleek touchscreen in a corner of our room. Loading up the ink has been my favorite part of it all. It was a bit scary at first because I thought I would make a mess, but it just locks into the ink tray and unloads until it is full. There was no leaking at all and the ink was all loaded within a few minutes. The ink charging was the most time consuming, but I took that time to download the software to the laptops. In less than 20 minutes, I had the printer and 4 laptops set up to Wi-Fi and able to print.
I do alot of bookkeeping and need a reliable, fast responding printer and this has been great after using for the past week. The dual paper tray is also very useful when I have to print my spreadsheets along with other paperwork and need to use 2 different sizes of paper. It prints very quickly and is able to handle printing tasks from multiple computers at once, especially since both of my kids are printing school work and assignments throughout the day. I am so happy with the ability to finally be able to have double sided printing without manually having to turn the paper over and replace like my last printer. This printer has so many more features as well, and copying has been a breeze. Switched from HP577dfw printer. What I like is the savings on the ink and the two year warranty and TWO years of free ink! The hp was one year warranty and starter inks. To replace them was over $400. This printer will save me over a thousand dollars in ink alone.

One of the disadvantages of working from is that I do not get the benefit of using the heavy duty multi function printers that you normally see in a company office. Therefore, I am normally very limited in terms of what types of documents I can print as well as how large of a workload I can print. This printer has really helped me with all of my limitations and it prints quickly as well as remotely. I give this printer 2 thumbs and 2 big toes up!

First off let me say the Epson ET-5880 is a five star printer with a 1 or 2 star Epson support. This makes the 6th Epson printer I have purchased. I have also owned HP, Canon and brother printers. This is by far the best printer I have ever owned. It prints laser quality, laser speed without the high cost of replacement laser toner. Their are so many options at the control panel it will probably take make a year to learn them all. I connected my printer to my network via a ethernet cable and I can print from my 3 iphones, 2 ipads, 2 desktop printers, 2 laptops (Windows 10 and Apple), and Amazon fire tablet and whatever else I want. This machine is designed to print to any computer in any work environment as it has PCL support.
My biggest complaint about this printer is the ink maintenance box. I read two reviews about this before I made my purchase and I said these customers must have done something wrong. Epson should suggest to their customers that purchase their printers to also purchase an extra ink maintenance box. When I first added 4 bottles of ink to the printer I charged the ink pipes which takes about 9 minutes. This whole time the printer is dumping ink into the ink maintenance box. After the printer is charged with ink, the ink maintenance is already 5/8 full. When the ink maintenance box is full it will not print. It will scan or fax but no printing. The worst part about this is that Epson does not have the ink maintenance box available for purchase. One of the reviews I read said they waited 6 months and still no ink maintenance box and thus they trashed the printer. Luckily I purchased my printer from Best Buy with a 4 year replacement warranty. If I can’t get a replacement ink box when I need one it is going back to Best Buy. I ordered a aftermarket ink maintenance box from E-bay but who knows if it will work because it has a chip in the box just like the ink cartridges. It may or may not work.
I tried to call Epson about the ink maintenance box but the best they told me was that they would send me an email when stock becomes available. This is unacceptable. You sell me a $900.00 printer that will maybe print about 400 to 500 pages before it quits. Also, don’t turn off your printer once it is charged. Every time you turn the printer off and on it dumps ink into the ink maintenance box.

Didnt have that long. Definitely prints fast. I used the top paper feed to scan documents. It Did get jammed a quite a few time. Maybe it was a fluke. Everything else worked quite well.

This printer is excellent when working. The software to install the printer is abysmal. I never could establish a stable Wi-Fi connection. I finally resorted to a hard wire CAT-6 connection to make all work. The software to setup the printer is horrible. Just go by the printer windows and ignore the Epson software other than drivers. The installation process is a hot mess and took me days to resolve. (I used to build my own computers and all worked flawlessly- this installation was a disaster). All my other Wi-Fi connected devices such as my thermostat, alarm system, watering system, connected immediately and have remained rock solid.
This printer cannot maintain a WiFi connection. It is terrible. It is only a few feet away from my massively powerful state-of-the art WiFi router (it easily covers over 5000 sq ft, of housing area).
I would only recommend this for a wired CAT6 connection. WiFi really is a mess. No stability in a signal and you will need to reinstate the WiFi after a few hours.
The included and download software is terrible. Set up the printer from the printer interface. The software setup never recognized my printer, yet my computer (MacBook Pro) did.
The print quality is really good. But for a $900.00 printer, the setup should be easy. All of my stupid cheap ancillary devices have never skipped a beat with WiFi. Do NOT expect to experience a WiFi experience with this device!

The worst printer I have ever bought in my entire life! I bought this printer because of it’s ink tank design. But i was not prepared for is the endless trouble with it software and the endless struggle to keep it connected to at least one device for long enough so it can complete a print job, even one page can not be printed without an interruption. Reinstalling the drivers does not offer any relieve, nor clearing the buffer in Windows, it does not work with Lenovo laptops, it does not work with iPhones and it does not work with Android technology either I am yet to find the tech this printer is compatible with. Save yourself some money and a lot of frustration and do not buy this printer.

I had the 3850 so this was an upgrade from the same type of printer. You can’t beat the EcoTank. But you do need to use it consistently to keep the ink from drying out. My 3850 had to be cleaned if I didn’t use the color for months at a time. So I plan to make sure I don’t have to test that with this one!
This printer is a beast. Make sure you have the space for it! I wish it came in black. I love the fact that the tray extends on its own because I usually keep my tray closed when I’m not in my office. If I’m printing from another area, I used to walk into my office to papers all over the floor. I love the crisp sharp words. This is definitely an upgrade. It’s also very easy to change up the paper size and print on smaller card stock or larger paper. Color is crisp and sharp as well. It’s very easy to use and program. I haven’t used all of the features yet but this is a definite keeper!

I bought this printer and the Canon MAXIFY GX7021. I really wanted this printer (the Epson) to be the one I’d stick with, but I ended up sticking with the Canon mostly because the Canon’s prints looked better — presentation-ready — vs the Epson’s “office-ready” prints. The Epson prints REALLY fast — quite a bit faster than the Canon. The prints look faded and the text looks lighter and thinner and, ultimately, harder to read at least for my eyes. I tried both PCL and PS.
Pros:
1. Very fast prints
2. Beautiful, large touchscreen to control the printer
3. Motorized paper tray that extends (if not already extended) before printing a job
4. Could print borderless
Cons:
1. Prints look faded
2. Text looks thinner and is harder to read
3. Very heavy
4. Tended to jam with 20# paper about 5% of the time
