  1. Zortboy

Yes, you read that correctly, I have owned and used 6 printers in the past 3 years. This is the 2nd All-in-Printer I have owned in the past 3 years.

I personally think this is Epson’s best printer to date.

Set-up: My wife and 10 year old set it up while I was working. It took them about 30 minutes, including unboxing and unwrapping. My wife said the instructions were very easy to follow and had no issues getting it up and going. It then took me about 5 minutes to download the software from the Epson website and go through the setup. All-in-all we were done and printing in under 60 minutes.

Ink: This is the 3rd Supertank printer I have owned. I can’t imagine going back to having to buy ink every couple of months. This is a no-brainer for all my future printer requirements. Paper

Tray: I love being able to have two separate trays for paper. It allows me to keep my legal paper loaded for immediate access (I work in real estate, so this might not be a necessity for everyone)

Top-Feed ADF: This is pretty standard. The only thing I noticed is that they have a little extender if you are feeding in longer than normal paper. I can’t remember if my old printers had this since I have never used it.

Paper output tray: This was actually an awesome surprise. I have a habit of pushing the paper tray back into the printer when I am not using it. Only to find when I print from another room, I forgot that the tray is pushed in and I can hear my papers falling all over the floor. This printer has a great feature that if the tray is pushed it, it will automatically push it back out to catch the printouts. Great Job Epson! Print Speed: I did not notice any difference in print speed compared to any of my other top printers.

Scan-to-Cloud: I use this feature ALL THE TIME. After a quick setup, I have my scans go directly to either my email (or my assistant) or directly to our Dropbox or OneDrive accounts. This is another feature that I could not go without.

Input Panel: Normally I would not care about the input panel, however, this printer has THE BEST input panel I have ever used. The screen is hard (like an iphone or something) and has great response. The numeric keys to the side are nice and crisp, reducing extra key pushes. I didn’t think this would make such a big difference, but I find myself not dreading it every time that I need to go to the printer to enter in information.

Regardless of the sentence below, this is my unbiased opinion. This printer is worth the cost!

  2. Luna01

I have always loved all in one printers, but I personally think that epson has stepped up its game with the Epson Ecotank, ink that is a fraction of the cost to refill the ink. And in reality will last way longer than any other ink from any other printer out there. Than with the speed of print, that alone put the icing on it for me, I’m someone whom always is in a rush and i can print dozens of sheets if not hundreds in minutes. Between work and working from home lately this pruner has definitely been a huge life saver.

Also being able to load two different trays of paper is also fast and convenient . The touchscreen of options are great. The printer itself is absolutely soundless, when any printer job is getting done. I highly recommend this printer to anyone whom is in the market for a new printer, it is by far the best printer out there. “This is a review for the Epson EcoTank ET-16650 Wide Format Wireless Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

  3. CourtTheSport

The Epson EcoTank Pro ET-16650 printer is by far the best printer I’ve used for my business! I’m able to fax, copy, and print many different things! I love that this printer allows me to use wide format printing. The Genuine Epson Inks are amazing and can deliver thousands of prints making it a much affordable option! It was very easy dispensing the ink into the printer. The set up process was easy and the instructions were very informative.
It does an amazing job at printing quickly! I’m even able to receive emails directly to the printer since each printer comes with it’s own email address! I’m also able to store a list of contacts right on the printer that I interact with after through my business. It’s a very sturdy and reliable printer made by a company that I know I can trust for high quality products!

  4. Kforti2

This is the third printer that we have used (first Epson) in the past four years, and by far the easiest to set up and configure straight out of the box. Set up was quick and simple. I was initially nervous about leakage in filling the ink tanks, but they are made to be completely leak and spill proof. Much easier than the often messy process of changing out traditional ink cartridges. I would not go back to an ink cartridge system at this point. We constantly had the ‘low ink’ warning, poor coloration, and the constant waste of cartridges. The coloration on the Epson is far superior to our previous Canon and Brother All in Ones.
After the printer connection to wifi was established, each of our devices (pc, Mac, Chromebook, & iPhones) were able to recognize and print. We have never had a printer that didn’t require downloads to use out of the box! Registering on Epson Connect took minutes and we were then easily able to use the scan functions to easily send documents to our email or cloud drives. The Epson iPrint app also makes scanning and printing directly from iPhone easy. The machine operates very quietly and more quickly than our previous units. This is by far the best printer we have had.

  5. GamerShark

Overall: This is a very good printer with good print quality, easy (pretty quick) set up, and a few key features. I suppose that I shouldn’t be surprised, but this printer is actually an improvement on last Epson “Ecotank” printer I owned a few years back (and that was was definitely a game changing printer for me since it was the first ink jet printer that I ever owned that didn’t require ink changes on a regular basis).

Set-Up: Set up was fast and easier than expected. I got it done in less than 25 minutes once I had all the pieces out of the box. The instructions were intuitive and loading ink was simple and clean. I’ve had some issues in the past setting up wifi and wireless printing from cell phones in the past with other printers, but this one made it easy. One think worth noting is that the printer does have airprint. At first I wasn’t sure because the booklet doesn’t emphasize this, but it works well. My family does as much printing from cell phones as they do from computers so this is a key feature. And (its worth saying again) the super tank is still genius. I always struggled with ink shortage at key times in the past and having to not worry about ink is still a great advancement in printers.

Speed, quality, and noise: The printer is pretty fast. Its looks to be a little faster than my current (former) printer and quality actually is much better (particularly color). The really notable thing is that is is much quieter. It doesn’t make as much noise in the “warming up and pre print process and the printing itself sounds smooth and quiet.

Wide format: It can print a variety of sizes which is impressive for a printer of relatively small size. I was able to easily print an 11×17 page but it is just as easy to print up to 13” wide. Again, I’ve seen home printers that can do this but not a printer this size.

I’d say this is the best all around printer I’ve tried. Should be good for a small business or a large family like mine.

  6. Lucy

I purchased this for my home use and what luck to use it while working from home. It prints great images and text.

  7. Yomomma

So far so good. Easy to set up and prints nicely..

  8. Printer

Great all in one printer. Easy to install. Works like a charm!

  9. Brownies

I love it! It was easy to set up. It prints up to a size 13×19. The pictures are perfect so far 🙂

  10. Raheela

Best printer I have ever had I really recommend this printer for office use

  11. Lisa

Works well and the ink seems to last. Doesn’t jam very often.

  12. WincKyle

Working well so far. Like the scanner app and the ability to do two-sided scans. Ability to print 11×17 is great.

Reality Check – Horrible Printer. Do Not Buy if you are a graphic designer looking for a printer that handles heavier media like cardstock. The specifications on this printer claim that it does handle these materials. Reality is it leaves stripes, wet ink, sprayed ink blots in random places, and the quality — on any setting — is absolutely horrible. I tested 27 different paper types in 10 different thicknesses. I also tried numerous settings with each of these 27 paper types (ranging in paper cover wt from 50 lb – 130 lb, in numerous textures and brightnesses, etc.). I lost hundreds of dollars on the media alone. It was so disappointing to wait 7 months for this to come in stock, and ask it to do something relatively simple like print an envelope or invitation and see ink spray everywhere on the media. It absolutely cannot handle a custom paper size — it lets you enter it, but then it sprays ink all over the custom size print. Another horrible problem is it ruins photos if there is any black in the photo — the black ink overprints and sprays (even on the lightest settings). Often times, the black ink would take hours to dry as well. Hours. It also smears and makes eyes look like black lines or ovals. It makes shirts or hair or any other dark element look like a black ink blob. I have long been a fan of Epson. I have their Epson SC-F570 24″ printer for sublimation and it works Great. I have the WorkForce 4760 and it is Excellent — and handles pretty thick media for envelope printing on custom settings (even though it is not designed to). This one though is a total fail as a thick media printer or photo printer or mixed media printer. So not worth it. Returning it to Best Buy tomorrow. Don’t waste your money or time. Definitely Not Worth It.

  14. Preet

The printer works really well. All features actually work and easy to setup

  15. BMsharp

I was looking for a printer to mainly print 11×17 CAD drawings. I looked for a while before I found the EPSON 16650. I did lot of online research and decided this was the printer that I wanted. So far, I have been super pleased with the purchase. It has a ton of great features in addition to the 11×17 capability. You won’t go wrong getting this printer.

  16. BeatsMe

The printer itself is great. I had to return it because I received it damaged. I purchased it elsewhere because BB didn’t have a replacement. Excellent printer.

  17. EpsonRuby

Excelent product. Very versatile, all sizes printing. Ideal for creative and all purporse business that wnat beatiful, FAST and economy printing.

  18. Chong

Bought this to replace my few years old HP office pro printer. Nothing wrong with the HP printer. Just wanted the tank ink and large paper size support that this Epson printer offers. Size of this printer is large. Set up was straight forward. The front paper tray can take up to 11×14 size paper which is really nice. I set up one paper tray for legal size paper and the other for letter size paper. When I print, the printer chooses from the proper tray depending on print size. Very convenient. Batch scanning up to 11×14 size works perfectly. This is one very well made workhorse printer! Print quality is what I expect from Epson.

  19. Frank

This is the top line for EcoTank. we bought it for business use, supper fast printing speed, good enough quality, however, there is one short coming compare to laser printer, when there are a lot of solid color in the pager, you may see some overlay stripes for the color transition, Scanning speed is still very slow. other than that, every aspect is better than laser printer.

  20. restockplz

Works great! Highly recommend this product to anyone looking!

  21. Trey

Best printer I have ever owned. Cheapest ink I have ever replaced. We use it in a business environment so it gets a work out, sometimes printing 500 pages in a day. Had a software issue with the first unit, but Epson sent out a replacement immediately and it has worked great since. Will probably buy a second one later this year.

  22. DR777

Truthfully this printer holds up to its value! It does come with a higher price then others. However, it makes up in longevity, strength, and can print consistently while utilizing just enough ink without over doin it! I have 2 now and am so very thankful for my purchse.

  23. Bcc898

Clean and clear prints. Very fast print without any quality loss. Setup is simple. Did not take as long as instructions indicated it would. Only part that I could complain about is the price. Unit is essentially the $350 WF-7840 but with eco tank setup. But I guess they know they have a great printer!

  24. Tankprinter

Best printer I’ve bought – ever! My second tank printer.

  25. Colin

Works well, staff very happy with it. Scanner works but havent fully set up the scan to cloud function yet. Wish it had paper tray large enough for a full ream.

  26. Rob1643

I have both a color laser and now the Epson ET-16650 and find that the colors come out better on the ET-16650 using an appropriate same paper.
The ET-16650 is also much quicker at printing color full page documents.
    Very pleased with the purchase.

  27. MPat

First impression is this printer is not worth the price i had a WF-7840 that was a quarter of the price but i had to replace it twice in a one year period so i purchased this to save on ink and because it had the same features. Does not do duplex printing (it prints on one side then flips page) which was one of the main reasons i bought this printer. once i opened the box it was covered in black ink but none of my ink was opened. after adding the ink and configuration the ink levels dropped below half way mark.

  28. FrustratedwithBB

Non- Stop amazement in what could go wrong next.
Unbelievably BAD as of late. Endless problems with receiving merchandise that isn’t damaged, defective, pre-opened, wrong etc etc.

  29. Dissatisfied

I use it for large amounts of copies and door hangers. New eco tank blows away the old cartridges. Fast and quiet as well. Had a difficult time setting it up.

  30. DongyoungK

I bought this product 04/2023 for a small office. Now scanning is not working. Little bothersome. Warranty is still active, but I need to carry this heavy one to a Best Buy store to get it fixed.
And i tried to upload a photo. It can not be uploaded.

  31. RamonaS

I did a good purchase, it really helps for the job I need to do

  32. ElieD

I love this printer fast printing i can’t ask for more

  33. SampsonY

it is simple to use and best of all, there are no more tedious replaceable expensive cartridges anymore,

  34. AlexaB

Is the best printer as an architecture student. Fast and easy to use.

  35. LarryS

Awesome product. I love Epson products and the customer service at Best Buy was great. I will be purchasing a smaller Epson ET in the near future.

    Thank you very much

  36. JesseM

I own 5 printers for our home projects and this is by far the best and we use it more than any other
