    So far these things are great. Wish the battery life was a bit longer but at least the charging bases are all universal. Definitely happy with my purchase.

    I was really excited for this mug and had high high hopes, but unfortunately it disappointed me. My too major issues: 3hr battery is not long enough and it took way too long to recharge during the day and in between uses. What was worse than the charge was the fact that even if I put boiling water in the mug, it would basically cool it down to its max heat temp.

    The battery didn’t last long . My wife was disappointed with the cup . For being that expensive I would thought it would have lasted longer. I returned back . Needs more research on it .

    After having the Ember mug for a year and loving it I had to get the travel mug. So far no complaints!

    It’s great being able to make a latte and have it be near perfect an hour and a half later. Or having some nice hot tea without it going cold in 30 minutes. It’s pretty overpriced, but it does its job and does it well, so it’s hard to complain.

    As others have stated, the lid it comes with is pretty terrible. You’re unable to open the lid and clean the inside of it, so it gets pretty gross after a while, and is highly recommended to get the sip lid instead. The Android app isn’t great, but doesn’t appear to be as terrible as others have stated. The updated Travel Mug may work better with the app compared to the older models. I took a few photos to compare against the red Travel Mug since I couldn’t find any online.

    I purchased this gift dec 2022. Mug was good for a couple months and then wouldn’t keep the coffee warm after an hour. Fought with customer service and they warranty replaced it. Two months later, same issue on the replaced mug. Fought again with customer service and recieved a second warranty replacement. In August the push lid broke. Fought with customer service to get it warranty replaced. They finally sent a replacement. Guess what, three months later the new lid broke and customer service is nowhere to be found. Extremely poor customer service. You have to fight to get a warranty replacement. There is no phone number to contact Ember. After spending $200 on a mug you think it should work. Do Not Buy, Google ember and read the reviews.

    The idea is best but the item is not. It loses charge fast and when put back in the charging coaster with coffee… the coffee changes flavor.

    The Ember Travel Mug is a Christmas gift. I have had the regular Mug for a year and have loved it. I love having coffee stay a specific temperature (my special setting) the entire time I am enjoying my drink. No more cold beverage! I’ve even put tepid tea in my mug and heated it to my preferred temperature. After a year of use, I think my battery may not last as long as it used to, but it is still keeping my drink hot for 2+ hours. The mug was purchased on a black Friday deal.

    Nice tumbler with an electric base. The base doesn’t get hot, it just. Ames an electrical connection to the tumbler cup and the tumbler has the built in warmer. Nice to have hot coffee for an hour or two as I’m a sipper, and my coffee would always get cold before.

    I love the travel mug2! I got it for Christmas!!
    My favorite feature on it is I can add it to the Find My app on my iPhone. I have the Ember Mug, but I found that I needed something mobile on my way to work that didn’t spill. It keeps my coffee warm for the entire morning – I would totally buy another one for my wife!

    Such a cool travel mug! Sleek-looking but so functional. The cup tells you it’s hot and ready to drink once it meets the perfect drinking temperature. Battery lasts about three hours but you’ll finish your coffee long before since it stays hot and tastes like it was just poured. Great gift!

    I really love this product. It’s keeps my coffee hot until the last drop. My only complaint is that it takes a bit until the app senses the coffee in it. It may be because I have the mug as well and it has difficulty switching from one to the other, not sure. But all in all, very happy with it!

    I purchased the Ember Travel Mug as a gift for my husband. He is always mentioning how his coffee gets cold rather quickly, especially while he is working outside. So I thought, let’s give this a try.

    In addition to the mug, I wasn’t sure of the lid, so I also picked up the sipping top. That one is still in the box since the initial lid has worked without spills and has been convenient to use.

    The price is steep, but the technology is great. He used the mug for a couple weeks though before going back to other brands because the charge only lasted about 3 hours and he had no way of plugging it in at his workplace.

    My recommendation would be for this mug to be used in an office environment, or if portable – where there is an outlet or ability to recharge nearby. I haven’t searched to see if Ember offers another method of charging, maybe they do?
