  • Charge Status Indicator
    Set your empty Ember Mug on the included Charging Coaster 2 to charge. The smart LED light on the front of the Mug will breathe red when charging and be solid green when fully charged. The LED is white when heating or monitoring a hot beverage.

    Simply start pouring to turn on your Ember Mug 2. When empty, it will automatically enter sleep mode to conserve power. Ember intelligently turns on and off using patented sensors to detect liquid level and temperature.

    Once you’ve paired your Ember Mug 2 to the Ember app, remotely set your drinking temperature, save presets for all your favorite drinks, try our tea steeping timers, or personalize the smart LED to your favorite color. The Ember App is compatible with iOS and Android devices.

    The mug is built sturdy. However I am fearful of rhe charging rings at the bottom being wet after washing or charging too soon after washing. At the lowest setting i found that heating would evaporate coffee. I have been using mostly to reheat coffee.

    I wish it came with a lid, luckily I had one that fits. I feel like it keeps my drinks warm for eaily 3-4 hrs

    A great product for a coffee lover. I like to enjoy my coffee. Small sips over a long period of time. And constantly zapping it in a microwave is annoying and also changes the profile of the coffee. And the warming coasters you can find work well but are hit and miss depending on the mug you use. This holds a set temperature for over an hour if you need it to. A bit pricey but it’s pretty much the only mug I use now.

    Easy to use. Works great so far. I feel like it’s worth the money! Go get you one. You won’t be disappointed. The fact that you can watch it heat up to the temperature you set is pretty cool!

    I’ve wanted to get my husband an Ember mug, but he thought it was too expensive. It IS a lot for a coffee mug, but he is really enjoying the fact that his coffee isn’t continually getting cold before he can finish it. We’ve gifted four family members with Ember mugs over the past two years, and each one of them loves to use theirs.

    I bought the cup for my wife as a gift, and she loves it. She poured room temperature coffee into the cup and it heated right up to her desired temperature. Keeps hot coffee warm and has adequate battery life.

    I got this as a replacement for a 10 oz mug I purchased 2 years ago. I always felt it was a little too small for my coffee consumption. It works a advertised, but since I take my coffee with milk, the heat makes it form a skin which is disagreeable, but not the fault of the mug. I have used this recently with tea (no milk) to get me out of a cold and it has been great at keeping the temperature hot enough to soothe my throat. Hope to buy a travel mug when they are on sale, those things are expensive!

    I purchased the Ember mug as a gift, but I subsequently received one myself. It only took a few minutes to set up the mug to my specifications via the app and plug in the base; that was all that was needed to begin using it. The mug comes out of the box with a slight charge. I appreciate that I’m able to adjust the temperature depending on what beverage I’m drinking. Easy to clean. Best purchase/gift!

    This is my second ember mug, and it’s all i use. It keeps temperature for well over an hour and i can use it several times a day as it charges pretty fast! The sturdy, weighted bottom and the width of the handle make it the perfect cup

    I am in love with this thing. I am a devoted Nespresso user but sometimes the coffee isn’t that hot, even when it’s right out of the machine. This is the perfect solution. Gets the coffee to the right temperature (without losing the froth) and keeps it there until I’m done. My only complaint is that you need to recharge fairly quickly if it’s not on the saucer, but other than that, it’s perfection.

    Thought I would like this it seems well made but I turned it all the way up to 145 degrees and when I checked the temperature with a calibrated thermo pen it only reads 125 with the white light on that means it’s up to temperature. A very expensive fail.

    My husband has been wanting this mug for the longest time, but couldn’t justify buying it for himself. We recently had a baby and after I took my maternity leave, he took his paternity leave and all parents know — you get used to drinking you coffee like warm after a certain point. I got this for him so that he could continue to enjoy drinking hot coffee. He used it every day and loves it! Worth every penny, might have to get one for myself now.

    Bought this as a gift for a family member for Christmas, and the recipient really likes it for their tea. It is very well insulated on the outside so you don’t burn your hands holding the mug like some others. Only complaint is that the battery life isn’t the longest, but I saw that the lid you can buy may extend it to a certain extent, so that may be worth a try.

    I would give it a better Star rating if the battery lasted longer. And the inside finnish didnt syart to peel already. The adjustment capabilities are truly exceptional. Temperature control is perfect for tea and coffe connoisseurs. I perchased one for myself and my wife. Even bought a travel mug. Mynonly real complain is the short battery life.
