This is actually one of the pieces of tech that I do not regret buying, the level of automation that he can reach is amazing with all the integrations. I literally use this for most of my apps.
They definitely can improve the clicking experience on the buttons, to feel a bit more premium. Specially for the price you pay.

As a beginner VTuber I got this for streaming and it’s been fantastic. On the top row, I have my core stream buttons – Start OBS Recording and Streaming and Intro Scene; Be Right Back Scene; and Outro.
Second Row I have a bunch of the different games I run, so I can with the press of a button I can go to Scenes set up for each individual game.
Haven’t begun using the bottom row, but I plan to have that one be hardware controls.

The software is so easy to use compared to the counterparts. Build quality is good and setup was really quick. For what I use it for, it is great. I don’t stream so my main use case is for basic audio switching and hotkeys for video and photo editing software.

Theres so many things you can assign the buttons to! Not to mention you have pages of buttons to set up, so youre not linited to the physical button count as to how many things you can set up.

I bought the Stream Deck MK.2 when I started streaming a year ago, and have since upgraded to the Stream Deck XL (which has 32 buttons as opposed to 15). That said, the MK.2 is a more cost effective option for newer folks who are just getting used to the Elgato eco-system.

I hesitated getting one of these due to the price. However, after setting it up I feel like i can’t live without it. It’s so useful in setting up tasks like disabling my second monitor, turn on lights, and launching automated tasks. The software integrates with alexa, google, ifttt, and apple. I would buy again.

Of course this was originally meant for people streaming, but I was using it for other productivity automations. It’s a bit weaker in that area and plugins aren’t updated as much as I wish they were, but overall I found ways to make it work.
