  1. MikeM

These speakers sound great! The setup was easy and they look nice. I set them up in my office – they’re just the right size and sound awesome paired with my laptop.

  2. RECKER

I am immediately really impressed by these speakers. To my pleasant surprise, they are far more quality and substantial than I anticipated.
They could not have been more simple to set up from both a physical hardware and Bluetooth standpoint. To top it off, the base and sound quality is great! We bought for our basement but are now thinking we should be using them on the main floor because they are better than our current set up! Really slick looking, too!

  3. DadO

Super easy setup out of the box, I only wish the optical cable was longer. I had to change the side I wanted the subwoofer on because the cord was too short. I’ve been thinking about getting a soundbar for my TV but now I’m going to use this instead! And it’s great because at any time I can chang the input and use it as a bluetooth speaker with any device I want or change to one of the other inputs.

  4. Mich

This speaker system packs a lot of punch for the money. They are small, elegant, and put out amazing sound. They hooked up to my phone right away. I was also able to hook them up to my record player and even my receiver. Unfortunately, I don’t have the right inputs to hook it up to my TV, directly. But, I’m investigating. You really can’t be the price for the quality of these speakers.
    Pros:
    Fantastic sound quality.
    Can’t beat the price.
Small Sub makes it easy to conceal.
Look and feel like more expensive speakers.
The packaging was very well done, meticulous, and secure.

    Cons:
    Hard to read the dials.
Would like to have them work with my TV…working on that.

  5. Tguett

These speakers have amazing sound. It’s hard to find a song that doesn’t sound good on these. The setup was easy. Took a few minutes and i was ready to listen. The remote took a little time to get used to but not an issue. The rich sound makes up for everything. I would highly recommend to someone.

  6. Phani

Totally satisfied. It’s a 1bhk apartment and the sound fills the room well. The 8” woofer packs a punch… awesome for my usage.

  7. Lindsay

We were looking for a speaker system to use in our living room and these are great!

When it arrived, I was dreading the set up, but it was surprisingly easy. It works seamlessly with our TV and iphones so we can use it for movies and listening to music. The sound quality is incredible even with our really high ceilings and large space.

    Highly recommend!

  8. Heiguy

These speakers are awesome. They can get really load but keep the same sound quality as it they were playing at a lower sound level. The installation was really easy and straight forward. All the cords that are needed to connect the speakers have enough length to easily fit with any entertainment system. The tuning knobs are all located on the side of the satellite speaker, which is convenient for adjusting the volume, base, and treble. Great speaker system and I would recommend.

  9. Djslim8

Best bang for your buck. Tons of connections but the optical is where it truly SHINES. Bluetooth connects fast and sounds great too. Bass is clean and hits pretty hard for this price. Highly recommended and I did tons of research. Enjoy!!

  10. formertarheel23

You will not get this quality sound from any other system for the same money. The build quality of these speakers is top shelf, you can feel the weight each speaker. It has 5 different inputs, I use bluetooth, optical and aux – of course the quality is best with optical. This is the first product I bought from Edifier, I did a bunch of research was looking to replace a Logitech set of speakers for my computer. I listen to everything from R&B, to hiphop, jazz and alternative and everything sounds amazing

  11. Dapperdanman

I’ve had these speakers for a little over three weeks and have been very impressed in that short time frame. Since working from home I’ve been able to use a small Bluetooth speaker in our home office but wanted a better setup, that led to the decision to upgrade to the Edifier speaker system listed above.

Upon receipt the item was packaged by very safely and no damage was noticed. The build quality was evident from the get-go as they have a nice weight to them. After unboxing and connecting everything it was time to test out the quality.

First impression was amazing, the two titanium-dome speakers give clean high’s and mid’s and the included wires give ample room to spread out for the desired range or room setting. The bass really drives home the full sound, the 8-inch subwoofer gives a powerful bottom to all of my favorite songs and adds an whole new level to the sound quality. The final point that really stands out to me is the included remote. You’re able to adjust volume and even skip songs on the original device directly through the speakers, not a necessity by any stretch but a great bonus feature.

At this point I have not noticed any downsides to the speakers. My neighbors may disagree but for the price these really can’t be matched. Great quality and a very clean look!

  12. John

This was highly rated by reviewers and lived up to expectations.

  13. erheneke

You aren’t really sure what you’re getting at various price points with speakers, but this was a pleasant surprise. I found the sound quality to be quite good, the size of the speakers to be about right and even found them fairly easily transportable. This was a good value for the dollar.

  14. Unknown

Bought these speakers a month ago and have gotten some pretty good use out of them. They are loud and the sound quality is awesome. They’re Bluetooth and come with a remote which is nice.

  15. Alex

Nice looking, easy to set up with all cables included. Feels like a solid build. Sound is amazing and can get really loud, the sub can shake the house. Easy controls. Some small cons for me. The round remote might be a little confusing if rotated in wrong direction and also missing bass and treble controls. Another con is that the display is very small. But these cons are not a deal breaker for me. Most importantly you get an audiophile sound quality even from your cellphone.

  16. SpiderWayne

I can’t believe how good these sound! I expected them to sound pretty good but nowhere near how good they are. I run them on my iMac and right out of the box they sounded great but then I add an eq app and now I can set profiles for music, movies, etc. I also added speaker stands on my desk to make them ear level. The only “but” is I don’t mind the desktop speakers not having grills but I wish there was on on the sub. I’ve accidentally, slightly kicked it and was lucky to not cause any damage.

  17. Jamie

This product received so many great reviews and after uising it for just a short time, I see why!!!!! This little but nicely weighted product gets the job done and then some!! Musically, streaming from cell wirelessly via Bluetooth or using wired, the sound stage is so full and accurate!! Big sound from the satellite speakers and the subwoofer!! The sound is so smooth and detailed!! Vocals and instruments sound so defined and clear, Love it! I’m using as home office speakers and the same sound quality is evident using my laptop via Bluetooth or when wired! The remote is cool and remote battery life has been good so far! This product itself is not wireless but connecting to other Bluetooth enabled devices is a breeze!! Haven’t tried connecting to my Smart TV via Bluetooth yet but can’t wait!! The cable length connection from right satellite speaker to subwoofer could be longer but wire connection from satellite to satellite is fine! This is the best set of speakers I’ve ever heard for the size!! Not all disappointed with this product!! Worth every dollar!!

  18. Matt

These are replacing my 10+ year old Klipsch Pro Media 2.1’s. Sadly they bit the dust and it seems Best Buy no longer carries them. I was disappointed to see they were no longer in stock. There just isn’t much else in that $150 price range that matches what those speakers could do.
After much youtubing and redditing I landed on these and I am not disappointed.
I am not a hardcore audiophile, but I can appreciate good sound and know what I like. These fit the bill and sound more like something in the $500 price range.

The first thing I noticed is that these are HEAVY. The build quality seems to be top notch. Only time will tell how they hold up, but I can see these outlasting my old Pro Medias.

Sound quality is amazing as you may have gathered. I am hearing sounds that I didn’t get from the Klipschs. Honestly that is saying a lot as they were no slouch. I never felt a need to replace those. The highs and mids are excellent and the bass hits appropriately. Some EQ tweaking may be required, but is mostly personal preference.

Set up is easy. Inputs, including Bluetooth are a welcome option that I didn’t have before. Obviously not as modular as a passive set-up with an dedicated amp, but its very good for what it offers and cuts down on bulk and cables.

I would highly recommend this for a pc set up. Skip the fancy gaming/RGB set ups. This is better. Embrace it!
This is also a great option for a living room TV set up if you don’t want to go full surround, but want better than a sound bar or tv speakers. It has an optical cable and will work by default with any modern TV right out of the box.

I noticed a lot of people online wondering how these are against the Klipsch Pro-Media. As a 10+ year user of those speakers, I can say these are truly better. And they should be at twice the cost. Are they twice as good? No. Price to performance, the pro medias are still king. But if you can foot the extra cost, you will get better sound, quality build and slightly more modularity. I fully expect these to last as long or longer than Klipschs.

Thank you Edifier for making such a great product at a reasonable price.

  19. Devon

This 2.1 system is great. Sounds better than the stock TV speakers. The size makes it easy to place around a tv stand, but the cord for the right bookshelf speaker is a shorter than the other so be sure to plan out that part. Numerous ways to connect everything as well.

Very affordable. The circular remote is a little odd and the light that shows the connection/volume on the right speaker is a little small.

All in all a solid system if 2.1 is what you need/want.

  20. HPLaptop

Very good quality and sound. Easy to setup. Really added to computer experience.

  21. Sandy

Very clear and crisp sound. However the bass was basically nonexistent.

  22. S1N20Y

Better than most computer speakers ! You can definitely feel your music now!

  23. LaLaSkow

We purchased this as a gift to a music teacher who is teaching primarily online at this time. It is well constructed with individual controls for bass and treble. It sounds great and appears well constructed. I would definitely purchase this product.

  24. Eliel

Excellent quality speakers and subwoofer, the sound is amazing with a good optical audio cable (I bought a longer one). The sound is much better than many high-mid range soundbars. The appearance is very beautiful and elegant, built with good material.

  25. DSTDean

Good speaker system with reasonably flat response. Lower frequencies a bit muddy, but evened out by cutting bass slightly. Surprisingly well constructed and packed for shipment. Easy to connect with Bluetooth devices. Not a big fan of the “puck” style control, but it works.

  26. Archie1008

    Pros:
    Very good build quality.
Different ways to connect them (including Bluetooth).
    Unusual but nice remote.
    Great bass.

    Cons
    Ok sound quality
    Small soundstage
Muffled vocals – this is the worst thing about them. And there is nothing you can do to fix it.

  27. Cyiam47

Read all the reviews and decided to purchase. 48 hours of use resulted in high pitch hum that would not stop. Returned and bought Klipsch 2.1 system.

  28. MWolf

For audio equipment, especially speakers, I usually don’t end up rating 5 stars. These deserve it! I’ll start where it matters; the sound. The lows are clear, deep, undistorted, and you can feel it if you turn the bass up. The rest of the sound range is also amazing for drivers of this size, and crystal clear. The tweeters help with the highs to bring some extra crispness to the sound. These sound more expensive than they are, not that they’re cheap, but you get the point. Definitely better sound quality than the Logitech speakers, to me at least. And better than Bose as well. If you want a rival to compare it to, look to Klipsch. Games sound great on them, too.

For the rest, they look great with the wood grain finish. Definitely more pleasant than plastic or that weird silver-over-particle-board stuff. The knobs on the side of the right speaker feel heavy in a good, well made way. Yes, the cables and connections are unconventional. That’s okay! If you need to extend the one that has the connector that looks like a VGA cable, you can! Get yourself a VGA monitor cable and a coupler – not kidding – and boom, you have some extra length! The subwoofer is large, so plan for that. It’s a “normal sized” subwoofer, like you’d have for a home stereo system. Not incredible common for computer speakers, but you can’t argue the sound.

The remote is nice, and allows you to select different inputs, volume, and you can pause, play, or skip when using bluetooth – a very welcomed surprise! By the way, they sound great using bluetooth. My only complaint is that the remote is round, so in the dark, it can take a second to be sure it’s pointing the right way.

Overall, if you’re looking at computer speakers, or even home theater speakers in this price range, these are it. You may even be happy if you planned on spending more. Well worth it!

  29. Digity

This system rocks! I’m picky and super ocd! It’s the bees knees for a 300-500 square room!

  30. MoneyMike

This speaker set is really impressive. The subwoofer, when positioned properly, is clean and deep. Wish it had a little more mid bass but overall great sounding speakers.

  31. Jakoby

After being blow away by my edifier 1280t’s for my record player, I thought I would try Edifier for my living room set up. While the bass was punchy and loud, the dialogue volume was so quiet. The result is turning up your speakers to max during dialogue scenes, then rushing to turn it down when an action sequence breaks out. Even with the volume turned all the way up, voices still didn’t seem loud enough. I tried messing with audio settings on my TV and turning off High Dynamic Range for audio, and it did not make a difference. Maybe this would work for PC speakers but there are much cheaper options out there. I do not recommend these speakers, and frankly I am baffled that these are rated so high.

  32. Steve

My logitech speakers died after 10 years was looking to upgrade sound system for my PC. After a lot of research the Edifier name kept coming up as a great company with quality products. This system sounds excellent. Definitely worth the $300. I don’t use the remote much which takes some getting used to the shape. Input using my motherboards optical out and occasionally link the bluetooth to my phone for blasting some tunes. The dials on the side of the speaker are very satisfying to turn.

  33. ewtt

Excellent sound. With bass & treble softened the mid rage is excellent for clarity of speech. Ordinarily I like strong bass for music or movies but for my current use (listening to people with language issues, slurred or mumbled) this superb – heard and shoulders above every thing else I tried. If I were to do it again I would probably get it without the subwoofer – I’m sure i’d get enough bass out of the R&L side speakers alone.

I did find set up difficult & instructions minimal and poor. Bluetooth pairing poor: speakers were hard connect to. They often did not show up on the Blue Tooth add screen. The instructions to make them “discoverable” were vague. Even when you got them discoverable, it takes along time to show up & you get “device not Responding” frequently when trying to pair. They seem do do fine once paired unless you try to switch devices using them – they pairing again cumbersome – not an easy switch back and forth.

Overall excellent speakers but expensive and a bit difficult to manage

  34. enteranewworld

This Bluetooth/Bookshelf system has the power to punch out clean power , heavy bass with no effort. You regulate the punch yourself with the easy to use fob. This thing will rock the windows in your house. This unit deserves more credit than just a “bookshelf” system.

  35. Jfalcon

These are absolutely amazing!! Best sounding 2.1 speaker set that I have had, and I’ve gone through Klipsch, Audioengine, Bose and B&W sets. The sounds is so crisp and clear, and enough bass to rock the place. Edifier did right with these!

  36. Duka

Very good sound for my home recording projects. Sharp and clear.

  37. jack

These speakers sound amazing, especially for the price. I have mine set up with my gaming pc under my tv, so I use for both tv and music. Bass is powerful, vocals are clear. Highly recommend.

  38. MCLMTZ88

I Really like this set up. Both speakers sound really nice and the subwoofer hits hard with deep bass. Problem is the subwoofer is already blown, and i dont see how because i just got the set up in august and im hardly home to use them. so i hope the manufacturer warranty will take care of this problem so i dont have to replace it myself. Would have gave it a 5 star but considering my issue.

  39. TheBrew751

You will not be disappointed, I bought these for my desk set up. If you have a larger desk they are perfect, you can get by with a small desk as well. Also, being able to connect via Bluetooth is great and easy.

  40. dvoss51

I can’t believe something this well made and sounding this good was made in China. Usually we get the scraps . Lol Really excellent sound, very well built.

  41. OVRG

Not as good as the Klipsch 2.1 series… I was really hoping for the quality of what everyone was talking about. They look nice but lacking in the bass area quite a bit.

  42. Satisfied

Bought this for my boyfriend and he is very pleased with the sound and features of this system.

  43. TheOne

Great, super clear, load. Love it! WOULD RECOMMEND

  44. Nerdmongo

Bought this as a gift for my son for his computer. He has a nice little recording set up for his beats and music that he creates and this system sounds awesome.

  45. Jason

Had a Klipsch Pro Media with a woofer that busted. Been rocking duct tape as a temporary fix. Also had a Leviathan hooked up to a tv mounted above my monitor. Decided to purchase these to replace both speaker sets. The sound is amazing and the bass is clear. Dialogue doesnt sound low or muddied by the bass. For the price the sound quality is a huge improvement and probably sounds better than the $800-1200 sound bar systems i was flirting with.

  46. FrankM

Great sound. Major improvement. The bass is nice and full.

  47. JefferyC

Best speakers very good sound easy to hook up good price

  48. user790224

Bang for buck, well worth it! Super easy to set up too.

  49. MichalisF

It was gift. My brother was happy with it. I cant comment on quality first hand. They look great though.

  50. Bcagle

Yo being real. The sub shakes my room, love it. i’m in a dorm and my best friend is my neighbor and my opp is my other neighbor so it works perfectly
