Great –
Great turntable recommend this to anyone looking for great quality

Pure Engineered Crap. I thought Denon would be a solid turntable brand, especially at a 400-500 dollar price point. Looks nice. The first thing I did when setting up the turnable was to find the feet DO NOT level. There is no way to level this turntable, unless you slide Beer coasters under the feet, which obviously doesn’t go with the look. Set up was not too complicated, but I watched a video on it. Sound is fine and the auto-mechanism is nice.
I’m going to probably return this item.
BBreviewer84 –
Nice looking turntable. Auto start and stop. Smooth design. Good compliment to Denon receiver. Needle guard good feature. Since I have total tech membership then I received two year free warranty with purchase.

This turntable is just perfect for my space Its compact and sounds amazing
Hiphop –
It’s a perfect way the the beginner journey of vinyl. It’s all automatic and well built by Denon with a reasonable price
SudsburyAZ –
Works great and sounds great. I think I would spend a couple hundred more for more features. As mentioned, I wish it was it had more bells and whistles. Like the old school turn tables with the light that turned on and lit the table as it tuned. Yup, I’m not young.

I haven’t had a turntable for many years. My wife inherited her mother’s LPs, so we purchased this to list to her records. I have a lot of LPs too so I’ve been immersed in the wonders and memories of vinyl albums – cover art, liner notes, etc. This turntable is perfect. It plays well, has the feel of quality, and sounds great. I would easily recommend this to anyone looking to recapture the memories of your old LPs.
One other comment – this is an automatic turntable. I almost bought one of the modern DJ tables, but it was manual. I just want to put on the record and hit play.
Deefer –
Beautiful design. Easy to assemble. Denon quality.
Mitchell –
Works great with my Klipsch speakers. Best Buy total tech set it up in minutes and really like having a quality automatic turntable again. For the price works and looks great. Although it might not meet audiophiles demands it works great and it’s good to listen to my old LP’s and new ones I am buying again.
Grinch –
Not the best player ….
But fir the price the sound quality and table stability are very good
Tulsk –
So far so good! it seems to match up very well the Denon receiver! The quality of the sound is very good!
I do not have anything else to add!
BestButCable –
Plays great! Simple directions to assemble. Love this purchase.

Purchased Jan 2022. First used in March 2022. At first the turntable worked well. After a couple months, the arm weight stopped working and would skip across the entire record. Adjusting the weight did not work so I tapped a nickel on the head. That worked. Then the connection failed on the left, nothing but static. The connector is built in so you cannot replace the cable. Its junk.

Excellent simple machine. Nice looking and great performance. The tonearm drops the needle at the right spot and lifts it correctly. The sound is very good and easy to assemble. Very light but solid. I really enjoy this turntable. It lacks a clamp to secure the tonearm to its base and the reason I giving 4 stars is because the turntable does not suppress the sound at landing nor at take off. The noise at high volume when the needle looses contact with the record may damage your equipment badly. Other than that this record player is highly recommended.
VROreviews –
This turntable give great value for the price and I love that I can plug it right into by old Bose Lifestyle sound system without an additional pre-amp. Just what I was looking for and it sounds fantastic.

Not the best tt I have ever owned – that was a Thorens manual with a Denon MC cartridge – but it Is indeed the best Automatic tt I have ever owned (better even than the Dual I once enjoyed). This Denon 300f is Quiet, stable and simple to operate. The automatic tonearm movement is precise and well damped. The two buttons for start and stop feel somewhat basic, but perform as they should, and there is a damped cueing lever for manual operation and record cleaning. (Lift with cueing lever, operate start button, use Discwasher or similar, then lower with cueing lever). The Denon branded moving magnet cartridge it arrived with sounds surprisingly sweet and articulate if not placing instruments precisely on the sound stage (which is not really an issue unless listening to live recorded tracks) but the universal headshell allows simple cartridge upgrades. The DPf 300 fit and finish is the best I have seen for under $600, and it was well packaged and easy to set up. – A Solid value !

Unit works well, had to purchase cartridge, but was aswn open box…
boothism –
I have not been able to listen to my vinyl collection in years due to a damaged cartridge that I couldn’t get a replacement for. Now I am again enjoying my vintage tunes. I love it
Fredy –
Easy set up and great sound! Looks really nice as well!
BryanL –
This is the beginning of my vinyl journey. It sounds great as is, but I will be upgrading the needle. Definitely glad I got this.
98332 –
We got this to replace a standalone and cheap turntable. We wanted something to actually connect to our Denon receiver and this was perfect. Assembled and connected easily and it performs well.
SamuelG –
This is a cool product. I like the automatic tone arm.
cosi –
This turntable is working flawlessly. The automatic feature is fantastic. Our vinyl albums sound great!! We love it!
LynnF –
It is garbage. When all hooked up and ready to go the only sound was garbled and scratchy. Read other reviews that stated no cause has been found.
JeanetteP –
I’ve been looking for a turntable that would wow me and this Denon Turntable did just that.
If you’re ever in the market for a turntable, Denon is the one.
CJ101010 –
Great sound and very easy to assemble and use. Super smooth.
RonnieG –
I simply love my Denon turntable. It’s fully automatic feature makes me the household “rockin DJ
Wildgolfer2 –
I was on the fence and when the price dropped i bought one. Glad i did. Setup was easy. The manual is fine but watched a setup video as well. Soind is very good and warm. Will change the cartridge and stylus eventually. Well worth it even at the normal price
George –
Sounded fine but difficult to setup tone arm balance. I returned to store and found I was able to repair my old Pioneer turntable.
BetsyK –
Static-y sound. At least in the one I bought. Your results may vary.
Mint4Pillow –
After reading the reviews I decided to purchase this unit. I went for the full automatic turntable for the obvious reasons and it did function as stated in the listing. What I was disappointed w was the build, plastic throughout the unit. The worst is the 8¢ plastic 45’ adapter. The sound w the current cart was lacking, nothing inspiring through my B&W system. For reference, I played my Technics 1210M5G w an Ortofon cartridge and it was night and day. Fleetwood Mack’s Rumors came alive. I’m aware the vast differences of the tables and I’m not wanting a DJ turntable on my entertainment center but for $500 I would want better sound which this lacks. Plastic throughout, bad cartridge and the sound dampening is poor, really poor. I would buy this at 1/2 price and I would be happy but not at the current price point. Turntable Lab has this exact unit w an Ortofon Red cartridge and cork mat for $20 more than BB if your reading reviews like I did before purchasing.

I’ve had this unit for a few years and I feel like it’s a solid mid-entry turntable for those that want something decent but don’t want to break the bank. I don’t use it a ton, but when I do, I’m happy with its operation.
I will say that the cartridge really is subpar. It will make things sound muddy and thin. This is the worst part of the unit. I upgraded to an Ortofon 2M Blue and had it installed by a local turntable guy (as I didn’t know what I was doing.
I also noticed that my Yamaha TSR-7810’s phono stage input sucked worse than the internal pre-amp stage of the Denon, so at least there’s that. Currently I’m using the Denon’s internal phono stage
I’m planning on buying an aftermarket MM phono stage to help open things up further.
RussG –
I took it out of the box and hooked it up and it doesn’t work. I’m trying to find time to do online research to see if I can make it work. Since you have a 2 week return policy, I will probably have to eat the cost of the turn table if I can’t get it to work.
Matt –
Purchased for a bedroom setup and has been serving well. Decent sound out of the box but will be upgrading the cartridge for even better performance.
AnthonysM –
Works perfect. Easy to set up. Sound quality is top of the line. Should have bought sooner then I did.
IU2fan9274 –
Nice turntable, I really enjoy the automatic feature. I do wish it had a tone arm lock down.
RobG –
The Denon 300F is a fantastic fully automatic turntable that delivers hours of listening enjoyment without the work of a manual turntable. I purchased this turntable several years ago for my wife who needed an automatic to replace her manual Pro-Ject in her home office. The turntable has not had any issues and has worked flawlessly since purchasing, which prompted me to purchase this second one to add to our receiver downstairs. Setup is very easy out of the box and only requires a few minutes to set up and balance the tonearm, especially if you have a turntable stylus force scale. For vinyl collectors, there are good turntables and there are great turntables and this falls under the latter. As with anything, quality does cost, and this turntable was luckily on sale at the time from Best Buy at a great price. If you are interested in purchasing a fully automatic turntable that delivers, then consider the Denon 300F from someone that has purchased 2 and has not been disappointed with either purchase.
Battelle –
This was a great purchase. Connected to my Arcam system and it sounds great. Glad i soent the money for a quality it. Alan Parsons never sounded better i can tell you. Electrostatic speakers dont hurt.
AlfonsoM –
Purchased it for my son and it has been a great step up from his older model turntable. Works great and love the automatic arm. My son has autism and he loves to play his records.
JacobK –
Not the best turntable I’ve had. It NEVER is at the exact right speed it should be. There are screws underneath (horribly annoying spot for adjustment screws) that supposedly help adjust the speed, but they dont do JACK. Very okay turntable. Would not purchase again.
DonM –
I needed a turntable that has the phono equilizer to go with my new Sonos amp. This works beautifully. Easy to set up and plays my 45 year old albums perfectly.
JessiW –
This record player is very user friendly! Love that is automatic. If you are hosting a party/have kids, this is perfect!
Caleb –
Plays smooth.. super smooth. Quality materials, lasting sound.
Mark –
This is a solid entry level turntable. The sound is decent but the cartridge and stylus are not of the highest quality but what can you expect at this price level. It could benefit from Bluetooth capability and thats why I didnt give it 4 stars. The quality of the stylus prevents a 5 star rating. Solid entry level table.
SeanJ –
This turntable is comfortable to use. When you lift the arm to play you feel control over what your doing. I have other tables such as pro-ject t1, a u-turn, and other vintage but this is the most natural feeling TT of any I own. My other tables seem like they don’t want you to touch them and just feel odd when placing the arm on the record. Also, you don’t appreciate having an automatic TT until you lived with full manuals for years. So care free being able to listen to music without worrying about catching the arm before it hits the label.
CourtneyR –
Very easy to set up, great quality, looks very sleek, and sounds great! We love everything about this vinyl player.
HarveyH –
This was the turntable i absolutley wanted. And it was reduced to a great price. I am very happy with this purchase.
BryanS –
Plastic. Too much plastic . Overpriced overated.Fluance is ur frejnd
Matty –
I wish the materials were a little nicer, but i really like that it has a built in preamp, and that its fully automatic.
GeneM –
After being away from vinyl for over 30yrs we decided to buy them again. So after 4 of the late Jimmy Buffet albums we needed a turn table. We chose the Denon because it was easy to st up, complemented our AV Receiver and it just sounds good. Could it be better? Maybe, but then I didn’t want to spend $1K to $5K. This meets out needs just fine.
