Battery SHOULD fit and SHOULD be fine, but they don’t send both the necessary screwdrivers to remove the battery. They send only the one to open up the computer. Once the backing is off, there’s no way to remove the battery. Have purchased batteries before and they ALWAYS come with both tools. Order from elsewhere next time and save yourself the extra trip to find the right tool.

My MacBook will shut down suddenly at various battery percentages less than 30%.

Works okay, feel as if it doesn’t hold a charge as well as the original battery. Also needs a better way to get the old battery out and new one in

If I could give it less than 1 star I would. Get it out of package and install it into my laptop, and has about 45% charge on it. Instructions said to use up existing battery life, until it gets to 7% (but don’t go any lower!?). Mine gets to 24% and shuts off. From there on, it has been a guessing game as to what percent it’ll get to and then shut off. Installed battery app to monitor battery performance and maximum capacity on the battery is only 70 something percent. Returning for full refund. Absolute junk!

The install was easy and the battery fit. Did all the calibration and recommendations via a youtube video to ensure that I’m getting the best out of this battery, but the battery performance has been a disappointment. The battery gets to 30% and just shuts off – from there you never know at what percentage it will shut off on you. The life of it is not long AT ALL. I find myself always plugged in, charging. I was better off keeping my old battery. I’ve had this for about 2 months and my macbook says the condition of the battery is to replace it now. I definitely expected way more from this especially for the price I paid for it.
