When I asked for help selecting dash cams I was given false information (i.e., that there would be a cabin camera), it took me 5 trips to a store that is 45 minutes from my home to finally get dash cams installed I was told it would take an hour and a half to install —it took three and a half hours— while waiting I browsed through the store and sales people stopped and questioned me numerous times. In the end I was left with exposed wires (they weren’t long enough to span the length of my car this after I already had to schedule a second installation appointment because the first time they ordered the car lighter adapter instead of a hardwire kit) also I spent almost two hours on the phone with customer service during which I was transferred 4 times and had to rehash this awful experience as many times. In the end I was told I would receive a call back —never happened — so I took everything back to the store and requested a full refund. Had the BB employees I dealt with sought help when they couldn’t answer my questions (instead of just making things up) this would not have occurred.

Did the job quickly and generally was good, but the back camera was installed a little crooked. Also, initially installed the wiring incorrectly so that the camera shut off when car powered off (vs. parking mode). Took it back shortly after accepting the car and he corrected the wiring error. The wiring was bundled and installed well (hidden and wrapped appropriately).

So far i enjoy my purchase. However my store experience was a different story. I went to one store just browsing when i found my item. I was told the store did not have it and i needwd to go on line and find the item which i did. Then i was told they did not do installation and the associate gave me the locations that do. I wbet to the store and was charged for installation, layer to find out that installation was free. I asked for the manager who then dodge me and would bot come back to speak with me. He sent the sales guy back to address me. Once i stated that i would post it on social media he refunded me. Horrible Service form a top seller in America.

Install service never done yet. Yet Best Buy indicates service complete. I was charged and paid for installation to occur early January 24, now no schedule on Best Buy’s books. Customer service has not helped at all.

The camera works ok after the installation,
the hardware use on this installation was not the corrrect one, several features the camera has was unable to use due to the hardware used on the installation. and the location on the windshield is incorrect because is not leveled.
The tecnician needs more (training)knowlege concerning using the correct hardware for different type of camera to give you all the features that make the camera special.

They really messed up the install first time they had to come out twice then after a year my security cameras stopped working the connections were corroded they did not install the weather guard correctly. They came back to install the replacement cameras and weather guard and didn’t clean up there mess and did not put on the weather guard on correctly again on one of the cameras so they came back to correct it and clean up there mess. I gave them 3 stars only because they were quick to come and fix there mistakes unless I would have given 2 stars
