The product was damaged. it was not noticed until the box was removed. After several attempts to return the product was unsuccessful. I just decided to keep the product with a 10% discount. I will not consider purchase a product of this type in the future.

Best Buy delivered the refrig to my driveway and left. I called the customer service and was told this item was not qualified to deliver into my house! Are you kidding me? Why when I ordered it online the website didn’t state this?
Well, after I asked some friends to help me move it in (my wrist was injured and could lift weight) then opened the box, I found the door was damaged. If I chose to refund or exchange, I had to go through it again, so I accepted the 10% discount offer.
I’m not a happy customer at all!

Everything was perfect except the condition of the fridge when unboxed. It was dented and scratched. It was installed on a yacht and needed I for a trip and didn’t have an opportunity to exchange it.

It was delivered a day early and sat on the apt. porch, blocking my downstairs neighbor! It was in jeopardy of being stolen overnight! Also the freezer door was dented! A day after it was installed, I had to go buy the proper outlet and extension cord. Why such a short cord on refridge? Also, the installers told me I had to make another appointment to have door opening reversed! Ridiculous!

I live in a 1930s apartment building, so I had to find a refrigerator less than 22 inches in width. Meaning I had limited options. What I like about this: Doors could be altered to open to the left. Color is nice neutral silver. I would have preferred more space for the fridge, less for the freezer. But like I said, limited options. And the Best Buy people were quite nice. A day after I bought it, it went on sale. So when I called Best Buy, they gave me the sales price

I recently had a frustrating experience with Best Buy that I think is worth sharing, especially for those considering a major appliance purchase from them. It began with a simple mistake on our part – we ordered a fridge that was slightly too wide for our space. However, the process that followed highlighted several issues with Best Buy’s service.
First, Best Buy’s customer support has been outsourced overseas, making it impossible to directly communicate with local stores. This was a problem for us as we tried to resolve our issue.
When we scheduled a pickup for the original fridge and ordered a replacement, the team arrived 20 minutes before the 4-hour window they provided, with no flexibility for rescheduling. The replacement fridge (this Danby) we received was in terrible condition, dented on all sides with shredded packaging.
We waited a long time for Best Buy to pick up this damaged Danby, but eventually had to drop it off ourselves at a local store. To add to the confusion, their team showed up at our place two days after we had already returned the fridge.
The second replacement Danby fridge was even more damaged, with the top freezer part crushed. We tried to return it, but were turned away because there was no new order number generated for this exchange.
As of now, we still have the damaged Danby fridge with us, waiting for Best Buy to pick it up. This entire experience was frustrating and time-consuming, and it’s made me reconsider recommending Best Buy for major purchases.
