    Did not need a hand held mixer, but had extra money left on a gift card. The first time she used it, before she was even done, she took the old one that was perfectly fine and threw it away. I took that as she likes this one much better.

    In my opinion, the beaters are chintzy. They are not much more than a wire whisk and the ends on each one are different sizes making them more difficult to install (which made them fall out in my batter the first time) and probably harder to replace. The lowest speed is really fast and it would probably power a small boat on the highest speed. I suppose I’m just old school and dislike change. It does look nice though, if you are just looking for a prop for a set kitchen. It’s OK, but having only used it once, I’m really not searching recipes for something so I’ll just have to use it. It will fill the bill on making a box cake, but I’m not sure about creaming butter and sugar. It’s OK, that’s all.

    I bought this for my 9 year old daughter. She likes it and the mixer is well balanced, not the most powerful but enough for the cakes she likes to make.

    A good mixer. Not quit as strong of beaters as my old one, but still does a really good job. I bake a lot and make larger batches of cookies. So come the holidays I will really know how well

    I had to replace a 5 speed KitchenAid mixer that was pretty old. I thought about going to a 7 speed but I am glad I choose this one. Had a little heavier feel and was all I needed in power to do double batches of cookies!

    Have used the mixer several times now, and very pleased with the purchase. It feels to be made with quality materials and actually seems to mix better than our old handheld mixer. I used to think that all mixers would accomplished the same result – but I was wrong!

    I am very satisfied with this hand mixer. I replaced another hand mixer with this one. My previous one had very little power. This one is almost too powerful. My only complaint is that it really needs a lower speed than where it starts out. What is being mixed often splatters out of mixing bowl. It is very powerful. I am satisfied with it. I gave away my stand mixer when I saw how powerful this one is. It is pretty light weight as well.

    Does the job! My 30 year old hand mixer died. I didn’t want to spend a lot of money on a new one since I use it infrequently. I found this one. This one works! The mixing blades are different from my old one but seem do the same job. I just have to make sure the mixing blades are snapped in or they will fall out on me.

    After having a Kitchen Aid Stand mixer and it doing a fantastic job I was hesitant to buy this small appliance but It did the job very well , wasn’t cumbersome and it was fast with great results in the mixing

    The mixer is fine for things that are not too thick or stiff.
    The mixer has a set of plastic drive gears that will wear down quickly if used in heavy products.
    The beaters also will warp in heavy doughs or products.
    The motor is powerful enough but the internal parts cannot take the torque.

    The 6 speed mixer, while more expensive is probably the better solution. Upon researching this model, some users indicated it doesn’t really have low speeds while the slightly more expensive 6 speed model does.

    I love that this mixer is lightweight. Its easy to store due to it’s size. I really love the color…let’s you know if it’s clean after washing. Lastly, the price was excellent. Very affordable.
