    This is a great grill. I bought it to replace a counter-top grill that I had for many years and the non-stick coating was peeling off. The surface on this new grill is non-stick but not from a coating. It looks like only really careless use of metal tools could damage it. It’s easy to select the grill/griddle option, temperature and cooking time, once you have the procedures down. The instructions were a little vague and the steps weren’t entirely intuitive, at least not to me. It preheats and cooks quickly. I use it on average once a week to grill chicken breasts, steaks or boneless pork chops. The cooking surface is large enough to add broccoli, onions, peppers or other sides. I’m cooking for one so I can put my entire meal on the grill. Though I think the cooking surfaces are dishwashing safe, I have always hand washed them. They remove easily and clean up quickly.

    We love this Cuisinart brand. So, we bought Cuisinart – Griddler Five – Stainless Steel. This is amazing Griddler having heating on both the sides with easy detachable pans for cleaning. Also, has a lot of temperature options for tasty snacks and breakfast.

    The cooking surfaces are easy to remove and clean, the timer functionality works well and the temperature control is convenient. Fits just right under the upper cabinets. We use it daily for toasted sandwiches of various kinds and pancakes from time to time on the weekend. One thing we wish was a little different is the grill/griddle selection after pressing “on”, it seems unnecessary to have to choose and I’m not sure what difference it really makes. It’s a minor thing in an otherwise really great appliance we are quite happy with so far.

    A little awkward to use, being that it is 2 halves. It works as intended, but a bit of a nuisance to have to get out and put away to use.

    This was a Christmas gift, it gets used several times a week, is very easy to use cooks evenly, and heats up quickly. The press plates are removable for easy cleaning and it has a very large drip pan for collecting any grease that overflows. Its is compact enough to store easily in any cupboard

    Great griddle, non stick works well. I don’t put it in the dishwasher (you can tho) because I feel that handwashing will keep the non stick working well for a long time. Plates heat evenly and I like that they are double sided – a grill side and a griddle side.

    Bought this for the price point. Works well once you figure out that one button controls everything (once you figure out the “turn right, turn left, push” sequences). Only a matter of time before that breaks. Returned and bought the upgrade to it.

    We have a small kitchen so this gives us a little extra cooking space. Great for paninis. Size is big enough to cook a couple of hamburgers. Like that it has a flat plate to use as a griddle.
