PCS202 –
Love the option to use grounds or beans.
Nice looking. Great capacity.
Hollyhock –
It took a little practice until we understood how to use the coffee maker. Everything is working well now.
Vnhc –
I really love this machine it’s so quick and easy to make coffee
Mhepfl62 –
It makes a great flavorful cup of coffee. Easy to use. Easy to clean. I love it.
FDBT –
This is the second one I buy. I love it. The best thing about it is the flavor consistency. Once you get the desire calibration, you’ll get the same great taste in every brew!
webebad3 –
Absolutely love this grind and brew! I originally had the more expensive model which wore out after many years. I reluctantly decided to purchase this model because the more expensive model had doubled in price. I absolutely love this model so much better. The brewed coffee is perfect. The machine cleans itself. The grinder is loud but not as loud as the more expensive model. The only bummer for me is that the coffee pot isn’t thermal. But it’s a very small trade off to save $200 dollars.

Have had this about a month now and it works as advertised. Uses a little too much coffee when you leave the grinder to decide how many beans to grind from the hopper but that is easily controlled by just adding a measured amount of beans into the hopper instead of filling it up.
Snoops –
Great coffee, option to use fresh ground whole beans or not.Easy to use and operate.
Asha21 –
Just bought a Cuisinart Burr and Grind coffee maker.it grinds coffee and brews all in one fell swoop. I took me for a few tries to figure it out as I like mild coffee. Once I did, I love waking up to the awesome smell. It’s programmable and what an extra bonus. You can select how strong you like your coffee and how many cups you’d like. Next thing to having your own barista!! The price is so reasonable. Get one and you’ll love this awesome machine.
Dave –
Easy to adjust for great tasting coffee. A bit noisy when grinding but works great and the results are well worth it.
Bearsqueen95 –
Love having the built in coffee grinder! Coffee tastes amazing!
COMom –
Exactly what I wanted. Love the grinder. Makes for a fresh cup of coffee every morning!

The “mini” grind basket will overflow and allow coffee grind fines to end up in the coffee carafe. The solution is to use a less than desirable strength setting.
Wahalaura –
Wouldn’t give one star but have to give one to do a review! Don’t waste your money! Horrible unreliable and you cannot clean the grinder and once a bean gets stuck in it, it just doesn’t grind beans anymore. Very slow to brew! Awful machine
Watchband –
Great coffee maker. Had a similar one prior to this one that had a metal carafe. That’s the only thing I would want to change.
Coby –
Really good product for the price make good cup of coffee
JOEB –
This is the worst coffee make I’ve ever owned. The coffee maker said it needed cleaning but would never get cleaned when I used the clean setting. The coffee tasted burnt and nasty since the clean indicator came on.
Kelita –
The grinder is terrible. We returned this coffee pot.
LALakers –
Love this coffee maker. Makes great coffee from freshly ground coffee beans. Upgraded from a previous Cuisinart model with built in grinder. Does not clog up with coffee grinds like previous model. Has a glass carafe. Bad spout design as it always spills some coffee on the counter is my only complaint.

6 months after purchase, it has taken a mind of its own. Program settings are inconsistent. If set to brew at 6am, it may or may not brew at 6am. The heating element sometimes does not work at all or it will stay on all day.
I will be returning this for a better replacement
StaunchPanch –
Love how convenient and quiet this is! Only gripe – the carafe leaks.
Nate –
Makes amazing, fresh coffee from whole beans and easy to use. You can set times for the coffee to brew which is a plus. Its durable and comes with a replaceable filter which is handy. Highly recommended.
Unknown –
This makes a wonderful cup of coffee but this morning will make it the third time that it leaked every where. We have no idea why some days it does it and others it doesn’t.
Jungleboy –
I purchased this to replace an older model that was starting to jam frequently. The new design has some great improvements including a larger caraffe and much easier to read display. It was easy to set up the automatic brewing. The new design also is easier to clean and looks less likely to jam up. The coffee it has made thus far has been great.
TxTagg –
I love fresh brewed coffee & this appliance delivers!
VickiV –
Makes a very good cup of coffee! Easy to clean. Love that it grinds fresh beans just before you brew.
DhaliLlama –
10-1-2021 water pump failed on our unit. The clock has always run fast, adding a minute per day. Coffee it produced when working was very good and I plan to replace it with something similar but don’t know that I would buy another Cuisinart
jlreckel –
Worked well for 6 months, and then increasingly worse until it now is non-functional after a year. Clean cycles had no effect on the brew speed and the ‘clean’ light never came on.
Unimpressed –
Clock gains 6 minutes a day, every day. Exchanged for a new one, it does same thing. If you dont reset time everyday, by the end of the week coffee starts grinding 30 minutes early. Even with strength setting on low, it uses about 3 times the amout of coffee beans as we do when we used to grind independently with other coffee maker.
happy –
Ordered online and received it a couple days later, which was way ahead of schedule! This makes is my 3rd Cuisine burr grind & brew coffee maker in the last 15 years. This new model has a few improvements over past ones and it works like a beast, requires simple maintenance and makes seriously good coffee
tlstom –
Still trying to figure out how to use it. The box was wet on the inside. The plastic back that the coffee maker was in was wet, too–therefore making the unit itself wet. Maybe it’s awesome…don’t know yet. Looks like they sent us a returned unit that someone had already put water in. Thought I was buying a new unit
etoddj –
Makes a great cup of coffee but it uses alot of beans. Be prepared to use a 12oz bag of beans to make 4-8 cup pots with brew strength set on the middle setting. Another draw back is that I like to dump the used coffee grounds as soon as the coffee is done brewing. With this unit when you open the basket to empty the grounds it turns the warming plate off and your coffee gets cold fast. For me this is a major draw back. Over all the unit is ok. If you don’t mind buying lots of coffee beans and if you don’t mind the bitter taste that can come from leaving the grounds in the basket and having the water that remains in the beans drain and drip into your pot of coffee. I think for the price of this machine, they could do alot better.
roberth0367 –
Fantastic grind and brew coffee maker. Easy to use! Hardest part is figuring out which coffee to buy.
Also, great that I can brew regular ground whenever I want as well.
Love it.
Falkor –
Broke with in 2 years of owning this coffee maker. We have now gone through 2 Cuisinart coffee makers in 3 years. Do not buy this brand you will not get your money’s worth out of it.
CGRIZZI –
Replaced the same model that died after over 3 years of daily use. These don’t last forever; which I don’t really expect them to
Leaks –
The unit was delivered yesterday and I’m returning it today. The coffee carafe/pot leaks terribly. The leak occurs at the sprout and water/coffee runs down the pot when pouring. Also the grinder is loud and sounds as if it is struggling to grind the beans.
TruckerTom –
Received my coffee maker yesterday, used it this morning Ground the beans and made coffee OK. But you can’t pour out of the pot without it dripping all over the place. Call cuisinart about this problem they said there was no recall so to take it back to the store.
Rjv156 –
Love this. Nice fresh ground beans make a fresh cup of coffee.
My only complaint is it and loud when grinding for 10 seconds. We have it programmed to grind and brew in the morning. It starts abruptly with no warning. A warning beep would be nice so I don’t jump. Lol
DonnaA –
We have been making coffee ever morning since purchasing the coffee maker.
We love freshly ground coffee and have never had a problem with the grinder. It grinds the amount for ten cups each morning.
caressev –
I purchased an older version of this coffee maker and had it it for 2 years before it had any issues. When it did, I contacted Cuisinart and they walked me through troubleshooting the issue. When it didn’t fix it, they sent me a brand new younger model! I’ve been using this one for just under 3 years and it is AMAZING. Freshly ground coffee in the morning, made in the strength I prefer and done for me when scheduled is a small luxury! The taste is fantastic. It’s easy to clean. It has had some leaky situations in the last year but I just learned to adjust the carafe to make sure the pause lever is not being triggered. I still highly recommend it especially since Cuisinart handled the service the way it did.
Donald –
Great coffee maker. The pot does not leak. Makes less noise then my old one
cddaniel –
Love this coffee maker! makes a great, strong cup of coffee. Love the grinder, never gets jammed!
Mike –
No complaints from this model. I previously had the version with a stainless steel pot that had a terrible design flaw. Stainless steel pot leaked with pouring. The glass pot does not have this issue. Grinder can be a little loud.
Oldguy –
So far so good. I have purchased and used 2 of the prior models and only had an issue with one of them. It seems to be better constructed than the prior versions.
DanielH –
For those who like the freshness of whole bean coffee, this is an easy-to-use solution. Once you read the instructions, it’s very straight-forward.
JamesK –
Make the best coffee we ever drank. Could not buy better coffee maker.
PS5Player –
Makes the perfect cup of coffee, every time. The taste is much smoother and richer with this burr grinder than a traditional blade grinder.
Espressjoe –
I’m not sure if mine is a unique case, but I haven’t been happy with the coffee this machine brews from the very beginning. After trying many brands and regions of coffee beans, I’ve deduced that this machine is heating the water so much that it’s making all the coffee taste the same bland, ashy cooked way. I looked to see if there was a way to adjust the heat and don’t believe there is. I love that thete is a burr grinder built in because I felt the taste of freshly brewed coffee would be worth the noise in the morning however I feel this machine costs way too much for the very mediocre coffee it produces. Also, I believe the boiling water makes a mess of the coffee basket and filter bc it seems to be hitting the filter in a steam and boiling water combo. Will look to troubleshoot with the geek squad crew or eturn for a better product. Giving it 3 rather than 2 stars in case my machine’s is just faulty.
JohnD –
Despite what some consider to be a high price for this device, I love it and have no buyer’s remorse. Works well for grinding beans as well as when already ground coffee is uses. Delivers the coffee quickly and has a strong heat plate that can be adjusted for how long the plate stays warm. Consistent results.
JCER –
I have used the Cuisinart Grind & Brew Coffee Makers for over 20 years. Cuisinart has always produced quality small appliances.
But this new and improved DGB-800 Cuisinart – Burr Grind & Brew 12-Cup Coffee Maker is the best to date.
It automatically dispenses the right amount of coffee directly in the brew filter with no separate grinder to clean. Just rinse the coffee pot and filter basket and you’re done.
The quality of the Burr grind makes the coffee taste great.
