Tony –
Based on the way the grill cooks, I was skeptical about how it was going to legitimately grill food. With the combination of a fan and good air circulation, it does an impressive job. Since we are not allowed to say brand names, I will say I went to one of the nation’s largest grocery stores and purchased a pack of fresh, choice ribeye steaks. Using the extremely easy-to-use app, I told the grill I want to cook a steak to medium. The app instantly programmed the grill and all I had to do was hit “start” (really play/pause) on the grill. The grill preheats, sends a notification to my phone, and beeps when it is ready to cook, then does the same thing halfway through to flip the food. At the end, it does the same thing, plus it automatically shuts off. When flipping the food, it turns off the fan and heating element so I do not get blasted with hot air. As soon as the lid closes, it resumes right where it left off. The steak came out slightly more done than I wanted, but it was also thinner than the option I selected. Thankfully, the app allows every parameter to be adjusted, so when I cook the next one, I will just reduce the time by a minute or two. If anyone is concerned about the doneness of their food, the grill comes with a waterproof digital thermometer to check the food.
For my next round, I looked through the recipes on the app and saw that it can make some impressive-looking melts using the fry basket instead of the grill grate. Once again, I told the app I wanted to make the item and it instantly programmed the grill. The sandwich came out perfectly browned with no burning. It was the best tuna melt I have had in a while.
For cleanup, all food surfaces are dishwasher safe. I threw everything in the dishwasher after the steak – grease and all. The surfaces cleaned up with no problem.
While I love this grill, it is not perfect. First, the thing takes up a huge amount of space but it does not have a huge capacity. If cooking for 1-2 people, it is perfect. I would not want to use this to cook burgers for a big group of people. It really is great for grilled food on a weeknight while it is snowing outside.
Setup and cleaning are simple. The one huge negative is the initial heat-up to burn off any residues from the factory. It was snowing when I did this, so I did it in my kitchen. The fumes were so overwhelming that I had to open the windows and turn on fans to clear them out. If you cannot do this outside, do it in the garage or somewhere extremely well ventilated – not the kitchen. All appliances with heating elements do this, but this thing takes it to the extreme. After the initial heating, there were no other problems with fumes.
Last but not least, it is also really important to note that there is no smoke while cooking. It has a hefty air filter which seems to do a pretty good job. I was a little nervous grilling a steak in my kitchen, but there were no problems. I saw some steam, but never any smoke.
At the end of the day, I love it! I have been wanting a good indoor grill and this does a great job, plus many other functions. I do not have a big family to cook for and I love that I can easily grill food in my kitchen.

Cosori vesync aero blaze countertop indoor grill
The indoor grill is everything I could want in a grill.
The packaging was secure and simple. The grill comes with the grill and three different types of plates/cooking surfaces. The grill has a pretty hefty weight to it, it’s solid, well built and easy to navigate screen/buttons.
The different plates are non stick and super easy to clean after use. I made a broccoli casserole in the deep pan using the preheat, bake function, and manually setting the temp the recipe called for, and the shake feature. The shake let’s you know when it’s halfway done and if you want to flip or stir what’s cooking, It cooked in about half the time the oven requires. The food was cooked to a perfect temp. There were a few bits of food residue stuck on the sides of the pan. Spraying the pan with the sink hose and a easy wipe down easily removed the few pieces of residue. I really thought it was going to be difficult but was pleasantly surprised with how easily it came off.
I tried marking a cornbread recipe with corn and creamed corn, the recipe didn’t come out lol but I was able to use the deep pan as well for this using the bake and manual temp.
The air grill feature I used the other two pans to make veggies on the kabob first and steaks second. It fit two ribeyes at a time, then I made a third steak on its own. For this I used the preheat, auto feature letting it determine the time and temp. It set the time for about ten minutes. I lifted the lid about halfway through to flip the steaks. Both the kabobs and steaks came great, the steaks cooked to medium. If you want you can start it back up to add more time.
The preheat function can be turned off if you don’t want to use it along with setting the keep warm to come on after cooking, with an option to extend the warm time. The grill has some other cooking functions like air fryer and dehydrator, haven’t used those as of yet.
I really like Tempe grill and it’s def worth getting it!
With all of the features and included cooking surfaces.

We really like using our air fryers and saw there’s a new Cosori Aeroblaze grill out and had to give it a try.
Unboxing:
The grill arrived in a large very sturdy shipping box and very well protected during shipping “heavier than expected too”.
Inside was the grill, grill plate, smoke filter, cooking pot, basket, metal skewers, thermometer, tongs, cleaning brush, recipe book, and instruction manual.
The grill itself is larger than our other 6qt air ovens, “not quite as high” but this is a completely different appliance from those. The grill is mostly black metal and matte plastic, very heavily built and sturdy. There isn’t a drawer you remove like on our air oven but the top half swings up and out of the way. We proceeded to clean all the included parts and wanted to do a pre heat burn off “which you will want to do to get rid of any off gassing”, there’s some but not as much as other ovens we’ve had.
Using:
This grill has a lot of settings and we were trying to figure out what to cook first and decided on some simple egg rolls.
Using the crisp setting and setting it to 365F we arranged a layer in the basked and set the timer for 15min. At the 10 minute mark they were already browning “from frozen” and were completely finished at 15 “very crisp”, and perfectly cooked.
Next we cut up some potatoes for French fries, washed, drained and went about cooking them. We could have filled the basket but decided to experiment and put in about 1/3. Set the air fryer to med 400F and let her run. Pretty impressive as the fries were browning within 10 minutes after preheat and we accidentally went a little too long and got them very dark. Still tasted good and this oven seems to get a lot hotter than our other air fryers.
We had just gotten a package of Nathans beef hotdogs and decided to toss a couple of them in there. Same med 400f heat setting and in about 5 minutes you could smell the roasting away, then checking at the 7 minute mark they had a nice brown crust on them and looked like they came right off the grill outside “excellent”, with the fat dripping off and going to the bottom drip tray.
And finally, we had some bottom round roast so decided to cube it up, put it on the skewers along with onion, red and yellow pepper chunks, spritzed with olive oil and seasoning salt. I set the temp to High 500F, let it do the 8min preheat then put the loaded skewers “just enough room for the 6” and let her cook. At the 10 minute mark they were nice and brown, the veggies had nice grill lines and everything was finished. These turned out absolutely perfect and will be cooking these many times.
Thoughts:
This is really a versatile grill, there’s plenty of room for roasts, Cornish hens “our favorites”, you can grill, bake, fry, even dehydrate. We’ve been using this much more than our air fryers and they have actually been shelved, replaced by the Aeroblaze.
Cooking time is very fast, “like our air fryers” but the temperatures you can get up to “over 500F” gives everything that gilled crispness I haven’t found with standard air fryers. We are sure you will love cooking with this grill. The only complaint I have is there’s really no good way to remove the grill plate or trays while hot, you have to use gloves. It would be nice if they had some sort of clip on handle you could use to remove while hot but it’s nowhere a deal breaker.
Didn’t even realize that it has an App you can download to keep an eye on everything while cooking, another big plus to the list of things this oven can do, it did require an account to be set up so I passed on using it at the moment, “already have a lot of home automation accounts”, would be nice if they all used on single app.
Oh and I forgot, the popcorn shrimp “perfection”!!!.

IMPORTANT SPECS:
The cooking pot is 6 qt or 5.7 liters. The Basket is 4 qt or 3.7 liters, the temperature range is between 105 – 510 F, and the time range that you can cook something is 1 min – 12 hours. The device itself is rather hefty at 19.6 lbs. It comes with a cooking pot (that you’re not supposed to put food directly on), a basket, and grill grate. Along with a cleaning brush, tongs, 6 metal skewers, digital meat thermometer, user manual, and recipe book. The Keep Warm function defaults to 140F for 5 minutes. The only way you can adjust it is through the VeSync app. Normally, I’m not a fan of phone apps. But this one takes this device to the next level, so I’ll take it. There is an air intake on the top and bottom of the device along with and air outlet on the back. So, you want to make sure you keep those places clear when cooking. They report leaving 7 inches behind and 8 inches on top.
THE APP:
The power button has multiple functions. It also serves as the “cancel” button. Along with that you can pair it to the VeSync app or reset it to factory settings. The VeSync app is nice because you can control the grill remotely using it. Along with monitor your progress. You can also select a recipe from them, which automatically sets time and heat. Last, you can save your own custom recipes to make things faster. There is a history (so you can look back at what you did). There is a “doneness” control which helps you achieve “perfect results”. I haven’t tried this yet but sounds cool. It also works with Alexa and Google. WHAT?! These are crazy times. So, a lot of added value here. Worth checking out at the very least. I use it regularly.
OTHER FINDINGS:
– I like there is a “shake” reminder. That will beep halfway through the cook time to alert you to flip your food (if needed). This time is also separate from the other timer. So, you can keep an eye on it while cooking. Which I like.
– You can have it on either Fahrenheit or Celsius.
– The grill will turn off automatically if inactive after a set amount of time.
– The grill pauses cooking when you open and resumes when you close. Nice touch.
– It remembers settings if you don’t unplug it.
– You can wash the basket, cooking pot, and grill in a dishwasher if you wish.
– A lot of buttons have a secondary function. Usually accessed by holding a button for 3 seconds until it beeps. To reset to default you hold of 8 seconds. Where it will beep at 3 seconds, then again at 8 seconds.
– Included recipe booklet is easy to follow. But I wish there were more options. Even the app is a bit more limited than I would like. Specifically, there is no recipe for beef jerky. Cook times are very accurate. Food tastes great despite minimal cooking skill on my part. Reminds me a bit of a fancy microwave. You get the ingredients, you mix them together and put them in the pot, make sure your settings are correct, press start, and you’re done. Very simple. Even simpler with the app.
– Cleanup is easy.
– The app surprised me a lot and adds a lot of value.
– In the end very happy with it and has become a central part in my kitchen.
InspectorGadget –
Great and convenient alternative to outdoor grills. Allows for indoor grilling so no problems with the weather or charcoal or propane. Easy cleanup indoors too. This is one of my pet peeves about outdoor grills as you have to dump charcoal ashes, clean the grill surface etc mostly outdoors in the heat, cold, and or rain. Where I live we have hot summers and cold winters so there aren’t a lot of comfortable days for outdoor grilling. I’m usually dripping with sweat while trying to get done. Propane may be more convenient than charcoal but the tank never seems full enough and the food has a propane flavor to it (which seems unhealthy). This is electric which seems healthier to me.
Much more than just a grill though, it also might replace your air fryer and bakes, roasts, crisps, broils, dehydrates. Not sure why people like to dehydrate foods since I am dehydrated enough but if you want it it’s there.
Like an air fryer it requires little or no oil for crispy fried foods making them much more healthy and tastier too. Read the instructions before using, they tell you to heat it up a bit before using to get rid of any residue or smells. Little or no smoke while cooking with a replaceable filter. Can get hot so give it some space on your countertop and be careful when turning or removing foods.
Good app with a lot of recipes which help automate the cooking process (did I forget to mention it’s smart?) and you can monitor/control the cooking with your phone.

Long story short. We absolutely love this indoor grill from
Cosori. The main thing we love is the fact we can grill meats and have no smoke in the house. Just the smell of the food you are cooking. It’s wonderful!
So what do you get in the box?
Aeroblaze Indoor Grill
Smoke Filter already installed
Etekcity Meat Thermometer
Cooking Pot
Metal Skewers
Grill Grate
Tongs
Basket
Cleaning Brush
Recipe Book
You get a lot here compared to other brands who sell indoor grills so that’s a bonus straight away.
So this is Wifi enabled… Yes, I said that right… It has an App called the VeSync app and even lets you update the firmware. This means Cosori can update and maintain your grill over the air with ease. Great idea!
The app allows you to control the grill remotely so you don’t have to be at the device to make changes which I like as I can get on with something else. It also works for monitoring the progress of your food so you don’t have to get up and check each time. I do wish however this had a Thermometer you could use like on the other brands. It also gives you quick access to recipes.
Parts are dishwasher friendly so very easy to clean.
Overall this works great. Chicken thighs and the steaks I have made so far with this have come out perfect and juicy. It’s great to be able to grill without having to be outside in the winter. And its not only a grill is it air fries, roasts, bakes, etc so it’s a great convenient space saving multi tool for your kitchen.

The Cosori VeSync Aeroblaze Countertop Indoor Grill is a great multi-function device that simplifies my meal preparations. Following are what I have found to be the pros and cons of this unit:
PROS:
– I really like that this is a multi-function device so I have only one unit on my countertop for 8 functions that allows me to air fry, air grill, broil, roast, bake and dehydrate. So much better than having multiple devices for these items.
– I feel like this unit allows me to cook much healthier than traditional frying or grilling, as it uses circulated air to air fry or air grill so you use 85% less oil and you don’t get all the charred contaminates from a typical charcoal or gas grill, but I have found the food to taste as good as normal grilled food and better than traditional fried food.
– Easy instructions and use. There is a Vesync App you can download that gives easy instructions. It is easy to use the manual controls on the unit, or you can sync the app and connect it as a Smart device via Alexa or Google to communicate instructions via the app or voice, making it easier to do functions hands-free while doing other things.
– The App has many recipes to use with this appliance, plus lots of helpful info in the App along with helpful tips and videos on how to use the appliance.
– It also comes with a manual with charts and diagrams that were helpful to get started.
– I love how easy it is to clean after use. The cooking pot, basket, grill grate, and splatter guard are all dishwasher safe. It also came with a cleaning brush and the rest of the unit can be wiped down with a wet cloth.
– There are very helpful trouble shooting guides that come with the unit and are also on the App.
– The thing I like best is how great the food tastes that I have prepared! The first thing I tried was to grill some Tuscan Pork Tenderloin Cutlets. I grilled them on max heat for 15 minutes, and used the Shake function as a reminder to turn them over half way through. The meat was grilled to perfection! It was tender, very juicy, with grill marks and a crispy crust on the meat. I’ve done these many times on a normal gas grill and they have never turned out as good as they did on this unit. I also used the Crisp function on frozen french fries. They were thicker cut fries, so I increased the temp to 400 degrees, bypassed the preheat and cooked for 18 minutes, using the Shake function again to remind me to flip them half way through, the fries were all crispy, not soggy at all and cooked evenly. They turned out much better than any I’ve ever made in my oven, and it felt much healthier eating them too. These are just a couple examples of things I have made, but everything I have tried so far has turned out great and has been a big hit with my family too. Plus an added benefit is everything cooks faster than in an oven or on a normal grill.
– The size of the grill can cook 4 steaks, or four chicken breasts or four large hamburgers at one time. The basket was big enough to fix a full bag of frozen fries. The sizes allow plenty of room to cook for a family of four.
– There has been very little smell coming from the grill, which is great. It just lets off some steam while cooking, but you don’t get any of the smoke like you would from an outdoor grill. The smell is usually less than something you cook on your stove top and no oil to splatter.
– There are a lot of functions you can do from the App. I like all the pre-programmed recipes with recommended temps and cook times, as those give you some good ones to start with to get the hang of it. I can also save some of my own recipes in the App. The Doneness control is very useful to achieve the perfect doneness.
– The Keep Warm function is nice when preparing multiple sides, so you don’t overcook but can keep it warm from grill to table.
CONS:
I don’t have much for cons, as I love the unit so far, but here are a couple observations to be aware of.
– I found all the controls and functions that are available to be a little overwhelming and confusing at first. With all the different functions, there are several different buttons with default settings, so if you’d like to manually customize the cooking times or or temps, you need to hold buttons to customize from the default settings. With the instructions it isn’t difficult, but it just takes a little time at first to figure it all out. This should be expected on a unit with so many functions, but I just mention it as it’s not something where you should expect to open the box and plan to be ready to cook your first meal as soon as you unpack it.
– While it is nice to have an all-in-one unit that does so many functions, so you don’t have multiple devices sitting on your counter, this also means it is a somewhat larger size countertop appliance. I wouldn’t say it is huge, but if you have limited counter space, just make sure you review the measurements before you purchase it. Likewise, it is also fairly heavy, so if you plan to store it after use, make sure the weight isn’t a problem if you have to lift it to a high shelf for storage.
Overall, I am very impressed and happy with this Indoor Grill and look forward to experimenting with a lot more great meals to come!

—– SUMMARY —–
Verdict:
The Cosori Aeroblaze Indoor Grill is now my go-to appliance for home-cooked meals. Having eight cooking functions packed into one compact and easy-to-use machine adds convenience and versatility to my cooking experience. It’s awesome being able to cook just about anything with ease, and the cleanup is hassle-free. In the crowded small kitchen appliances market, the Cosori Aeroblaze should be at the top of your list.
Pros:
– Compact design for all it can do
– Simple setup process
– Mobile app with notifications and recipes
– Voice control compatible (Amazon Alexa & Google Assistant)
– Easy to clean after cooking
Cons:
– None that I can think of
—– DETAILS —–
Setup:
I appreciated the simple setup process of the Cosori Aeroblaze Indoor Grill. The only steps were to remove the packaging and temporary stickers, place it on a surface (one that’s level, heat-resistant, and away from walls/cupboards), wash the basket, cooking pot, and grill grate (in the dishwasher or by hand), then wipe the inside and outside of the machine with a moist cloth, as well as the outside surface of the smoke filter. I opted to hand wash the basket, cooking pot, and grill grate, so altogether the unboxing and setup took me about 10 minutes. Downloading the VeSync app for remotely monitoring and controlling the machine, as well as the ability to connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for hands-free control was quick and simple as well. It took me about five minutes to download and link my Cosori Aeroblaze. More on the app later.
Design & Operation:
Especially for a machine with eight cooking functions, I’m impressed by how compact the Cosori Aeroblaze is. At around 14 inches wide, 16 inches long, and 10 inches high, it doesn’t take up much countertop space. It does have a larger footprint than most air fryers, but you get more functionality than a standard air fryer. I was happy to go from owning both an indoor grill and an air fryer to one machine that does it all. With its mostly stainless steel exterior, my first impression was that it’s a well-made, durable machine. The easy-to-clean ceramic-coated accessories are nice as well. When powered on, the display illuminates and shows temperature, time, and other useful indicators like cooking status, Celsius/Fahrenheit, shake reminder, and Wi-Fi. I like that it’s a modern-looking display that’s easy to read at a glance. Wrapping up my thoughts on the design and operation, the clearly labeled buttons make controlling the Cosori Aeroblaze intuitive. It’s a smartly designed machine that looks great and is easy to operate and clean.
Features & Performance:
The first word that comes to mind when I think of the Cosori Aeroblaze is versatility. Its eight cooking functions (crisp, broil, air grill, roast, bake, dehydrate, preheat and keep warm) make it possible to cook appetizers, desserts, and anything between. The list of recipes you can cook is seemingly endless. What I’ve enjoyed so far is grilled salmon, cheeseburgers, and crispy diced potatoes. I’m impressed that every recipe I’ve tried has turned out evenly cooked and delicious. I’m excited to try more. One of the additional features that I’ve grown to love is the virtually smoke-free cooking experience. I’ll admit, I doubted that it would be able to contain the smoke that usually results from cooking burgers, but it did so with ease. The smoke filter is pre-installed and easy to replace. Other features I like are the VeSync app for remotely monitoring and controlling the machine, as well as the ability to connect to Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant for hands-free control. The app also has numerous recipes that are easy to follow, and it can automatically set the machine to the appropriate settings at the push of a button. Based on the settings, it will preheat to the correct temperature, notify you when it’s ready for the food, and remind you to shake/flip the food halfway through (if applicable).
Care & Maintenance:
There’s a lot to like about the Cosori Aeroblaze, and easy cleaning is one of those things. Thanks to the ceramic coating, cleaning up after cooking is not a hassle. Anything left on the basket, cooking pot, or grill grate washes off easily with soap, water, and a sponge. Just make sure to use a non-abrasive sponge to preserve the ceramic coating. They’re also dishwasher safe, along with the splatter guard. For the inside and outside of the machine, wiping with a soft, damp cloth is ideal.

The Cosori – VeSync Aeroblaze Countertop Indoor Grill – Black brings 8 in 1 grilling from the outdoor porch inside to your kitchen without the smoke, hassle, and prep work of a standard BBQ grill. This all-in-one smokeless grill allows you to grill your favorite steaks or even make dehydrated food such as beef jerky.
Our experience was pleasant as we grilled up some skirt steak for fajitas. Normally, we use an outdoor BBQ to get the flavor and sear marks we like, however, this countertop grill did it all – faster! I tried making beef jerky from leftover steak and it came out great.
PROS
– Cosori brand and quality
– Smokeless BBQ/grill convenience indoors
– 8 in 1 cooking options for nearly all cooking styles
– Locks in flavor without losing tenderness
– Easy to use and read digital display
CONS
– None at this time

Unboxing the Cosori VeSync Aeroblaze Countertop Indoor Grill was a bit of a chore. It came in a thick, sturdy box and inside the grill and accessories were packaged/wrapped better than any appliance I can recall. Unwrapping the tape/bag from the power cord almost made me lose my patience. On the other hand, perhaps the overkill on the packaging reflects on the build quality of the appliance, which once unpackaged felt quite solid, offering a premium look and feel.
Setting up the Cosori was much easier than unpackaging it. The filter is installed and the basket, grill, and spatter guard need a quick rinse/wipedown. Set it on high on initial start and let it run through it’s cycle and then it’s ready to go. Additionally, you can download the VeSync App and connect the Cosori to Alexa or Google Assistant. You can use voice commands to check if the unit itself is on and if so ask how many minutes are left, what is the temperature and of course start/stop/pause the grill, among other things. It even comes with links to recipes to extend the little recipe book that comes with the grill.
The Cosori VeSync Aeroblaze Countertop Indoor Grill offers 8 cooking functions: a preheat mode along with cooking modes consisting of crisp, broil, air grill, roast, bake, dehydrate, preheat and keep warm. The Cosori offers quite a bit of versatility with just this one kitchen appliance. AFter preheating, I cooked a couple of ground beef patties using the air grill option, and they came out perfect.
Cleaning up was painless thanks to the ceramic coated grill accessory.
Overall I have to say I am so far pleased with the Cosori VeSync Aeroblaze Countertop Indoor Grill. 8 different cooking functions gives you the versatility to replace multiple countertop appliances. I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a countertop grill, air fryer, or dehydrator.

Tech in the kitchen is something my family didn’t think we needed until we had it. Not long ago I probably would have laughed if you told me that kitchen technology would/could soon be controlled by your phone, but here we are and I for one, am never looking back.
We are a health conscious family, so having appliances that not only make life easier, but also healthier, is a welcome addition to our kitchen. The Cosori Air Grill is a versatile and efficient kitchen appliance that ticks all of the boxes.
Build quality is extremely nice. This thing looks, feels, and performs like a top of the line kitchen appliance. Add in the fact that you can control it with your devices via the VeSync app and you have a design that is second to none.
The VeSync app and added ability to control this grill with your voice via Google, or Alexa, is pretty amazing. Once I opened my VeSync app, it auto-detected the grill and asked me if I wanted to add the Cosori to my available devices. I said yes definitely and within seconds I was connected and updating the firmware on my grill. You heard that right. UPDATING FIRMWARE! On a grill! That is yet another thing that would have had me laughing years ago. A grill that can connect to WiFi and update itself over the air?! Nonsense! But yes it can and here we are. The VeSync app provides everything you need to stay connected to your Cosori grill. You can program and monitor the grill. You can adjust your grill while cooking. You can see how much time is left. You can even read recipes tailored to your grill. This kind of stuff is mind boggling to me, but again, once you set it up (a very easy process) and get the hang of how it all works together so well, you will absolutely love it.
I am mostly using the grill function with the (substantially heavy) included grill grate. We make a lot of plant based burgers and they come out absolutely perfect every time. I have also made baskets of fries and tots, as well as fried tofu and veggies and everything comes out really yummy. I have included a pic of the meatballs we made for a spaghetti and meatball dish out of Beyond Burgers. They came out slightly crispy on the outside and juicy perfect on the inside. The next thing we will try will be dehydrating some vegetables. There are eight different modes available with this single appliance. You can grill, dehydrate, crisp, broil, roast, bake, preheat, and keep warm. I have not had the time to try every mode but from what I have tried so far, I am confident that this thing can pull off any of these cooking styles with ease. One thing to remember is that it needs to go through a preheat process before your cooking timer starts. I find that this process usually takes roughly eight minutes, so plan accordingly. Once the preheat is complete, you carefully add your food, then wait. Waiting really isn’t long depending on what you are cooking. I have found that this unit will cook my burgers and fries way quicker and more efficiently than a standard air fryer. Time saved is huge. I have also found that where a normal outdoor grill produces a ton of smoke, this has a built-in removable filter that effectively keeps your kitchen smoke free. Long gone are the days of going outside in the rain or cold weather to try and use a grill. Our family is vegan so I have not tried this with steaks, hamburgers, chicken, fish, etc… That said, there is also a built-in oil/grease collector so you are all good. They have included a really nice looking Etekcity meat thermometer and some metal skewers in the package in case you need those.
Arguably the #1 reason we use products like the Cosori Smart Grill, is for health reasons. If you use a normal outdoor grill, chances are you are using fluid on charcoal, or even a straight up gas grill which always made my food taste like… well… gas. With this grill, you can spray a small amount of no calorie olive, avocado, or coconut oil onto the basket, or grill grate, and you have a much tastier and MUCH healthier meal as an end result.
Just a few weeks ago I had never heard of Cosori products. Today, I am researching their other products and will be purchasing more as time permits. In the meantime I am very happy trying new recipes and cooking things I never thought possible indoors. You can even get grill marks on your food. I am happy to recommend this grill to all of my friends and family. Now please excuse me while I go make something to eat in my awesome new smart grill!

I can’t decide if I love or hate this thing. I typically cook for two people so and its winter when I’m writing this so I love not having to go outside in the freeze to grill some hamburgers or steak. On the other hand this thing is 1/3 the size of my outdoor grill. So it forces me to compromise on the sizes of the food I’m cooking. I can’t make two burgers in this thing – but I can make 4 sliders. I can’t wood grill a pizza, I have to make mini-pizzas…. So while the device works really well I ask myself do I feel like changing how I normally cook today to use this thing or should I just put on a jacket and grill outside. People don’t like change and that means I’m usually outside in the cold.
Did you know this grill has WiFi? And to my surprise it has a zero day firmware upgrade that was applied as soon as I connected it. Do grills need WiFi? As I’ve been spending the last few months turning my dumb home into a smart home it was kinda neat to ask Alexa how much time is left on my hamburger and have her respond but it had me questioning why this functionality is necessary. For example it would be far more useful if Cosori could have removed most of the buttons from the front control panel of this grill and moved them to voice commands or commands issued from the smartphone app, which is where I already have to go to checkout new recipes… but they didn’t. It seems like a missed opportunity. But if you need an indoor grill with Wifi and go off for a stroll while your food cooks you too can have Alexa or Siri or Google Home tell you your burger is ready.

The Cosari Air Grill is a nice kitchen appliance that is not your typical air fryer. For starters, it’s an air grill, not an air fryer. What does that mean? Well, it can do many of the things that an air fryer can do, but it can also be used as a grill. The first thing I made on it was bacon. I normally cook my bacon outside to keep the smell out of the house and avoid grease splatter. I used the Cosari indoors and was happy that the built-in carbon-activated filter did its job. There was very little smoke, little smell in the kitchen, and no grease splatter. My issue was that the cooking surface is relatively small and can only handle about 5 slices of bacon at a time. It makes for a very long cooking session if you need more than a pound. When it came time for steaks, the same issue came up. The cooking surface is too small. Unless you are making very small steaks, you won’t fit more than 4 on at a time.
The unit includes a digital thermometer and tongs along with the basket and grill. You can control the unit from your smartphone, turning it on and off, changing the cooking times, modes, and temperatures. It is equipped with a “Shake” indicator that lights up halfway into the cooking cycle. This alerts you to either shake the basket or turn over the food. This alert can be sent to your phone so you never miss it going off.
As with an air fryer, this unit can broil, crisp, keep warm, and dehydrate. Grilling is what makes the unit stand out. If you have a small family, this unit will likely serve its purpose well. If you need more than 4 pieces of meat, you will have a difficult time fitting it all in this unit.
I can recommend this unit for small families, but cooking for more than 4 people will be complicated.

I’ve had a few of these kinds of products before and I’ve been searching for one that I’d actually want to keep for a while now. This unit does what so many others have promised – actual grill marks! The heating is consistent across the grill and temperature heats up quickly. The unit is intuitive, comes with extensive instructions and a lot of extras in the box from a meat thermometer to tongs – something i didn’t know i needed until I was already into my first cooking project.
Thankfully that project was a huge success, with my grilled octopus turning the right amount of crisp on the outside and perfectly done inside. It was as good as what I had at a fancy restaurant before and I attribute that to the Cosori 100%.
I’m looking forward to trying a few of the other settings to see if it could also replace my air fryer, since the max temp is 100 degrees higher and seems more capable.
All in all i think this is a great solution for apartment dwellers or anyone else who doesn’t have the ability to grill outside.

First, I let my less than tech-savvy SIL set this up. He had no problems downloading the app and connecting it to Alexa though he would have preferred using Google Assistant himself. He also works as a cook so I figured who better than him to try it and give a review.
He loves it. He was happy with all the accompanying items as well as the instructions and recipe book. Apparently the tech support not only includes techies but also chefs who can help with the practical aspect.
Everything he tried cooked quicker than he was expecting and he appreciated the healthy aspect to not using oil to fry and grill. The only downside is that this is better for a smaller family, not three adults and four children. However, given how fast things grilled, he got the kids done and by the time we had them set up with their meals, the adult portions were done. Of course, this is the time when voice commands were appreciated. It is very versatile therefore is another product that will cut down on the number of appliances you need on your countertop or using a big oven for smaller items. Of course, grilling inside in the New England winter had him smiling and he gave me a tip – use a drop or two of liquid smoke mixed in with some oil and lightly spray what you are grilling to give the food that outdoor grilled taste. This is a great gift idea for students living in dorms, people who have small kitchens or seniors who really don’t want to use an oven for their little pot pie or chicken breast while still getting that baked and broiled effect.
Oh, he also wanted me to mention what he considered one of the best parts — the clean up was a breeze due to the ceramic non-stick surfaces. I guess I know what he wants for Christmas now since I won’t let him steal mine.

This appliance is such a great addition to my kitchen; SO versatile. Just having the ability to grill inside is kind of amazing, and VERY exciting. I live in an apartment complex, so I’m not allowed to have any type of outdoor grill. A grill opens a tremendous amount of cooking choices; there are a lot of things I don’t make routinely, because some things just need grilled, not baked etc. I know there are other indoor grills, but this one hits it out of the ballpark for me. Totally.
It does take up a bit of counter space, but once you have it and use it, you will see that the lost space on the counter opens up a burner on the stove, frees the over for something else, and provides meal choices that you cannot get from another product(s).
The app is nicely organized and easy to use, and connects easily to my home WiFi and the grill itself. I do use it to monitor cooking if my kids are making dinner, but otherwise, I found that I do not use the app for much at all besides the food timer. I did not connect it to Amazon Alexa; I personally don’t feel comfortable with the idea.
The grill is very well constructed. The inside parts are top shelf dishwasher safe; easy to clean even by hand. The hinges are strong, the lid is rather light. It has a splash guard over the heating element on the lid, which is a thoughtful idea. The buttons feel solid when pressed, the film covering them feels thick, they are placed logically, and the display is easy to read. The grill is easily programmable, and the manual is written really well.
The smoke filtering works great! I could not believe it. I smelled my food cooking, not the smoke I otherwise would have smelled. No fire detectors getting set off in my apartment either!
The grill has 8 different functions. I gave a description below highlighting things. In general, no matter what I made or what function I used, the Cosori cooked everything perfectly; it cooked it consistently and uniformly each time. Having that predictability is obviously extremely important.
What I made:
*I crisped bacon very nicely. I also crisped the outside of a cut of veal that I later made osso buco with.
*I broiled Smores for dessert a few times and made lobster tails.
*I used the Keep Warm function numerous times, even on the Smores; everything stayed the way you wanted; no burned chocolate or marshmallow.
*I used the Dehydrate function to make mango and pineapple. This was new territory for me. But it worked perfectly. If I’m doing it in my own kitchen, I can add other ingredients to it. More importantly, I can control the level of dehydration. I left more water in the fruit, when I was taking it for lunch to work. I dehydrated it much more on the times that I went hiking (saves on weight & space).
*Using the Bake function and a smallglass baking dish, I made a turkey casserole.
*Using the Roast function, I made roasted vegetables.
*The Air Grill is my favorite. Marinated chicken, hotdogs, burgers, shrimp on a skewer, chorizo sausage.

Preheats quickly. No fuss. Easy cleanup.
Using the assistant (Google/Alexa) to control the grill is pretty awesome, although I’m not sure if I’ll ever remember to use it. But nonetheless, it’s a neat feature to control a kitchen appliance via voice. It was responsive and changed and adjusted easily with no hiccups. The app also has recipes that you can use and it will adjust the grill according the the recipe you choose. Since we own an air frier with multiple options already, I wanted to use this strictly as an indoor grill, especially during the colder months or for a quick meal with a grill like taste and appearance without the added time. It cooked the meat wonderfully and kept it juicy and tender. The meat did have a slight smoky flavor of the grill.
The unit is sturdy and a bit heavy and it does take up some counter real estate but it’s compact enough to move around. I do however feel that it is a small space internally for cooking, but you can’t expect a full-size grill.
It was smokeless, didn’t have the smoky grill smell indoors which is a huge plus. It heats and preheats very quickly. Just be careful lifting the lid (as warned in instructions). The heat and rising moisture will singe you. The shake feature seems interesting until you realize it’s just there to remind you to flip food, so I see it as unnecessary and could’ve been used for another option of cooking or a more intuitive feature. The grill parts are very easy to clean, just drop in dishwasher or hand wash and the food comes right off.
All in all I enjoyed cooking with it and can’t wait to grill more foods.

Based on the way the grill cooks with the element above the food, I was skeptical about how it was going to legitimately grill food. With the combination of a fan and good air circulation, it does an impressive job. Since we are not allowed to say brand names, I will say I went to one of the nation’s largest grocery stores and purchased a pack of fresh, choice ribeye steaks. Using the extremely easy-to-use app, I told the grill I wanted to cook a steak to medium. The app instantly programmed the grill, and all I had to do was hit “start” (really play/pause) on the grill. Unlike pan-frying or broiling the steak, it is sitting on a hot grill grate, so the grease melts away. While some may want to eat the grease, the more health-conscious can be quite happy about the major reduction in calories and saturated fat.
There are so many possibilities since this unit has multiple functions, including air frying. I love being able to make crispy fried items without cooking them in a bath of oil. It is simple to cook halfway, flip when the machine beeps, and finish. There is no messy cooking or cleanup process like actual deep-frying at home. My mind is happy with the crunchy fried food, but my heart is thankful that I am consuming much less fat.
For cleanup, all food surfaces are dishwasher safe. I threw everything in the dishwasher after the steak – grease and all. The surfaces cleaned up with no problem. While I love this grill, it is not perfect. First, the thing takes up a huge amount of space, but it does not have a huge capacity.
I have been wanting a good indoor grill, and this does a great job, plus many other functions. I do not have a big family to cook for, and I love that I can easily grill food in my kitchen.

I’ve never heard of this brand but this is a great introduction. I’m impressed by the fact that this thing hasn’t set off my smoke alarms, yet. It’s been 4 months and all I can say is I really like it. Get it on sale.

Love it. Perfect for small apartments, efficiencies, or as a smaller alternative to a large oven. Filter works well. Made salmon. No complaints about the smell in the house and the salmon was perfectly cooked. I wish the app had more recipes. I do like that I can save my own recipes.

Never used an air fryer, but was intriqued by all the recipes that I saw everywhere. Researched numerous brands and decided that the Cosori sounded like what I needed to do the things I wanted to do with an air fryer. Started with steaks. Grilled perfectly per the directions. No smoke, no issues, great taste. I have used it for other foods like pizza, wings, and jalapeno poppers. Great and easy cleanup. Price was fair for all this unit could do. Large enough to cook what I need, yet small enough footprint to not take up too much space on the counter.

The grill works great and this product came with an excellent recipe booklet. I cook the grilled caprese panini for my Saturday lunch each week. The recipe is very easy to follow and prepare. Clean up is a breeze for me.

Perfect for cooking for 1 or 2. No need to heat up the whole over or grill, or deal with all of the grease when using the stove top. You do need to clean it to avoid the buildup of dripping, but is far less tedious than an oven, grill or stove top. My sister and daughter have bought one, because I raved so much about it.

I really like this indoor grill! It works great for steaks, burgers, pork chops, chicken, bacon etc. It is an over engineered grilling machine with a quality that is top notch, it also cleans up fast when it’s still warm. The nonstick grill is great. Love this thing. Doug

I can’t review it properly because it seems that it was a faulty product and Cosori will replaced it with new one soon. But for the two times that i used it, i like it.

I’ve been using the Aerogrill for a couple of months now and I use it many times a week. I love the different functions in one machine. The air grill feature really leaves grill marks on the food! Easy to use and clean.
KristaL –
I love grilling but I don’t love grilling in the rain. This is the perfect indoor grill for those rainy days when you want to go outside but you cant. It also does way more than just grill, So it’s even better than a grill.
Ninu –
This machine is such a time saver. And literally can be used to make bbq, baking and so much more.
RonN –
I have only had about a week and only grilled with it. 1″ and 2″ steaks, frozen burger patties, freshly made burger patties and sausage dogs. The App makes this fantastic. go to the app select what you want to cook, and it pulls up all the recommended settings. Make any changes if you wish, I have not had to make any changes to default. and then select cook in the app and it sends all of the setting to the grill. go to grill and hit start. pre-heat is usually 8 minutes, which it displays a countdown timer for. if you cook back-to-back the pre-heat will be shorter the second time. The shake notice to flip your food is halfway through. My apple watch has been about 50/50 if it gets the notification to flip my food. My food has been cooked perfect every time using the default setting from the app.
Cleanup has been pretty easy. Everything stores inside when not in use.

I’ve used several multi-purpose products like this and I tend to go with the Ninja brand. However, I love this 8-in-1 indoor grill by Cosori. It’s so good at several of the purposes, and I’d really wanted the air fryer/crisper and air grill functions (which are fantastic). I highly recommend this to everyone.
