    ive used “low” and “high” tier thermal pastes. Not all thermal pastes are equal, although i would consider this one a safe bet to get you by, it will work as expected like basic thermal paste. XTM50 I have used many times because corsair pastes are about the only i can purchase within 10 minutes of my home without ordering online.

    It will do the job, but is rather average nothing spectacular. although many other pastes i would consider to be much better quality and provide better performance all around for equal or less $.

    The xtm70 paste is easily 2 or 3x the price of this one with similar performance so this would be the only worthwhile paste from corsair for the price

    if i had the time to wait for shipping, for the same price i would step up to noctua NT h1(H2), arctic mx 5 or mx 6, or if you want top performance get thermal grizzly conductonaut extreme if you understand how to handle liquid metal.

    Keeps my CPU cool and I’d say its on par with some competing brands. Kept my 5900x plenty chill with my setup. 240mm lian li galahad AIO and a lian li 215x case for that extra airflow.

    Though do mind that this thermal paste seems to dry out after a year. Had mine seem a bit crusty after a year and 2 months of application.

    I purchased this product when I had to perform repairs on my laptop. The repair required me to remove some components that were bonded with thermal paste. After cleaning off the old paste, I used the XTM50 Thermal Paste to reconnect the components and I haven’t had any further issues with the PC since.

    Not much to review, but it spreads well & is packaged nicely. Package even includes a credit-card style spreader. Not like it’s necesary, though.

    Don’t taste it, it’s probably toxic and I was joking. Or do taste it. You do you (but seriously, don’t taste it and wash your hands VERY thoroughly after working with it). But on with the review!

    This thermal paste is bit thick for my liking. That made application a pain. Thankfully they include a little template doodad that helps you get it on the CPU evenly. Do not go to heavy on this stuff, as it spreads a lot once you’re mounting your heatsink or cooler solution. It isn’t electrically conductive, though, so making a mistake and getting some on the motherboard or exposed wiring of the processor isn’t that big of a deal. That’s a good thing, because this tough to clean out of crevices.

    As far as thermals, it isn’t going to break any records, but it does seem to hold up to high heat very well without breaking down.

    Had to buy while out of town doing some work on my rig. Cheap, did its job, has lasted over a year at this point with no heat spikes or cpu failures. Still keep some on hand for any side jobs that come up.

    Works well, 1 tube can be used for multiple builds (obviously). Just make sure it isnt expired before use, had to shoot a little out of the tube before i got to any usable thermal paste.
