Looks amazing and it works like it is supposed to.

Got these for my new build in a white case, they work as expected and the dual rgb lighting zones make the light show bright and popping. I have 5 of these in my case along with 3 120mm fans of the same model.

These fans are very hard to come by. They look great and have many cool effects built in. I’m still playing with them to see what I can create. A must have for any white rig and board setup.

Amazing Product! It such a great Rgb component by Corsair. Also great when it’s in sync with the software!

These are nice fans. The RGB is a total flex, but that’s okay.
I want to emphasize that the 140mm 2-pack comes with the lighting node CORE. The difference is that the lighting node core only requires one SATA power connector, as opposed to the older lighting node PRO, which required two. This is a huge improvement, and makes the QL series fans a very worthwhile upgrade.
The only downside, and the reason that I deducted a star, is because the corsair iCUE software is not great, and Corsair is really slow to update it.

I tend to lean more toward the understated in my PC builds, and thus generally go with Noctua or be quiet! fans since their performance (and silence) is much more important to me than a lot of visual flash. However, I saw NZXT’s Z-series AIOs with their customizable LCD pump heads, and knew I wanted to build a glass paneled rig to show that off. So, purchased a Lian Li O11 Dynamic, then decided with all that internal visibility, I might as well just make this newest PC a showcase PC and started hunting for fans worth showing off.
I chose the QL120s primarily because they have RGB lighting on both the intake and exhaust sides, and knowing I’d be mounting them with the backs showing on two sides of the case, that was important to me. I also liked the idea of consolidating as much of the RGB and fan control under one manufacturer’s ecosystem as possible, so these fans, coupled with some Corsair LED strips and the Commander Pro hub made a lot of sense.
I was hesitant that these fans would be significantly louder than the Noctua and be quiet! fans I’ve always used in the past, and sure, when you crank them up to their highest RPM settings, it sounds like a small jet engine is sitting next to me. But just in my use instance – where I have three mounted on the top as exhaust, three mounted on the bottom as intake and three mounted on the side as intake on the AIO (more on that in a second), I keep them spinning around 50% of their capacity (so about 600 RPM) and they’re virtually silent, all while keeping my CPU and GPU at temperatures in the mid-50s even under heavy load.
Regarding the QL120s as an AIO fan – I’ve seen other tests and reviews knocking their performance in this use case, but I have three mounted on a 360mm radiator in a pull configuration, and they’ve done a better job of cooling than the stock fans from NZXT – and at a lower RPM. I pretty much leave them set at 550 RPM (so again, virtually silent), and my GPU has yet to sniff 60 degrees under load, and generally sits in low 40s otherwise.
Also as I’d mentioned before, one of my primary considerations for purchasing these was the ability to control everything using Corsair’s software via the Commander Pro (although you could also do it using the included Lighting Node Core and USB headers on your motherboard, but I wanted to consolidate wiring as much as possible), and though this isn’t a review of the CP, I did just want to say that both it and Corsair’s iCue software worked as advertised for me. There’s a bit of a learning curve in iCue especially, but once you figure that part out, it’s fairly easy to get these fans to do just about anything you could ever want them to do.
So, in short, yes, these fans are expensive, but if you’re looking for the best RGB eye candy on the market right now, they’re worth it both for their looks and performance.

Quiet and they look great in the new build ! You will need a commander pro if you plan on using multiple sets.
Dominiccolon1 –
Love these fans really makes my system pop. Good rgb and very quiet.
JimJam –
These are beautiful fans, but I’m a bit disappointed in the static pressure performance. Luckily, I have enough radiators to make up for it, but I wish they didn’t spin so slowly.
mikey0808 –
Great fan, really helps moving hot air out. very quiet.
James –
These fans are gorgeous as they are superior at cooling and are highly customizable.

Fans are as described. I haven’t been able to use them yet because I’m still needing to get other parts for my build.
Oly18 –
These are incredible rgb fans for a white build,I use mine with the commander core xt for fan speed control, rather than the node core which only controls the rgb, really dazzling rgb
nSomniac –
Like most things corsair, these are beautiful fans

I’m a sucker for all things RGB,
I didn’t NEED these, I WANTED these to unify my pc case setup.
