    Caught the 2 way remote starter on a Deal of the Day sale. After some holiday shipping confusion, install went well, as does function. Nice to be able to warm the truck in this questionable area of the city. Range is best with clear line of sight.

    Bought the product in december 15th with free installation. I had no option to book the appointment at that time. When i went to pick it up, they offer some ridiculous date in February to install it or drive almost 2 hours to do it in January. No one willing to help to bring it closer

    I just had this installed a few days ago and i love it! Its easy to use and has amazing range/ distance. I can’t see my car from my apartment but it still works from inside and through multiple walls and obstacles. Its been nice to know my car has started with out having to listen for it. Now I can stay warm and have peace of mind knowing my car is warming up. Also the service technicians that installed it were professional, kind, and knowledgable. 100% recommend.

    Purchased this for my wife but it only worked 1 winter. I called tech support because my account says I have warranty until 9/2024. Tech support told me that I do not have any support. See attached photo. I can pay to talk to geek squad for troubleshooting. Super convenient when I need remote start now. Make sure you purchase with a credit card so you can do a chargeback when it stops functioning.

    I love the functionality and it definitely does what is supposed to do. The obly xomplaint I have is that the “Remote Start” has stopped working about 1 year after it was installed. It could be just my unit, if thats the case, I can certainly say that I was glad I bought it.

    Has great range over a block away and through a metal build with heating//ac units on the side. And mice that it tells you that it did start would be nice if both remotes had the feature just for both adults that live in house have their own set of keys i know and she dont.

    I purchased this remote start for my car and all I can say is WOW! Having a warm car in this artic frigid blast winter is a blessing. It was well worth the price when I purchased my remote start. Although when I bought it all the local Best Buy stores had a long free install wait, Compustar remote was the best purchase I made. It has outstanding range and comes with 2 remotes. One of the remotes even has lights to let you know that when you have your car started and that’s an excellent feature knowing that your car is warming/cooling depending on the season. COMPUSTAR is #1 in my book!

    This CompuStar 4905-S replaces an older CompuStar in our daughter’s 2009 Subaru Forester and it works perfectly. The key fob is sturdy and not too big (like the key fob it replaced.) Range is solid and she has no trouble starting her car from inside the house or her school or work. Installation at the Anchorage Best Buy is really what I want to talk about: the installer was so courteous, professional, fast, and extremely helpful with showing us how to sue the new tech. Kudos to this Lone Ranger who was the only tech working in their auto bays that day!
