    Never got installed, you cancelled the night before appointment. Tried to send me 1hr out of my way for installation at other store after new years. this was supposed to be a gift for Christmas!

    Its nice and useful when it works. However, I must’ve gotten a faulty product. Mine works when it feels like it and the other half of the time, I get error messages. I contacted compustar and they sent me a replacement, but say I have to pay for installation. I’m not sure how I’d be liable for the installation cost of a FAULTY item??? As if it’s not already expensive to begin with. Was going to buy one for my boyfriend’s car, but after that, I’m staying away from this company.

    This is an awesome starter. The LTE feature is great. It lets you use your phone from inside buildings. I would’ve gave it five stars, but it only comes with one remote. And there is a learning curve.

    Great Product!!! Compustar is the Best Remote Start in the line up!! Even better when the hardwire hardness is included with the installation at no extra cost if you purchase it from Best Buy! Bought it, got appointment in one week later and was installed in a 2011 Lexus IS-F

    I have this on a 2019 nv3500.
    This is great for the cold mornings.
    The heat inside doesnt warm the car but does heat the engine so you can once in the car. Overall would buy again.

    Company produces bad devices and then won’t stand behind them. Poorly engineered, a specific set of serial numbers frequently go offline and stay offline until you perform a hard reset by removing the device from under the dash. Known issues with GPS not updating — Check the DroneMobile website support pages and see the known issues.

    I park outdoors and wanted a way to start up my car so I don’t have to wait for it to warm up. I was considering getting a cheap one way transmitter because I can see my car through the window at home, but I decided to get a nicer system. I love using my Alexa, Siri, and the app to start my car and see info like the battery voltage and interior temperature. My factory fob was able to be programmed to work so I do not need to carry around the one included with the system. The GPS functionality was nice but I save money by going with the cheaper monthly plan because I have a different tracker in my car already.

    We have bought and had installed a total of 5 remote starters(5 different vehicles), this one is by far the best, it was a gift for our daughter in her new car, with the terrible cold weather we have been experiencing it really came in handy.

    Decided to purchase this remote start option since the DEI (Viper) one would not work with my 2010 Lexus GS. I really wanted the 2-way with extended range but the app makes a world of difference as I can start it while still at work via Wi-Fi from more than half a mile away and inside several layers of concrete. Downside for me was that installing in my Lexus took 5.5 hours due to the hardwiring requirement vice the plug and play, additionally once the vehicle is remote started my factory key fob is basically blocked from being used for keyless entry or even just button use to unlock, I have to use the Compustar fob, and to top it off (Lexus again) once I get in and hit the brake, I have to restart the car as it shuts down for security reasons. Also, my trunk does not open from the key fob or the app, which is odd as it works form the factory key fob, might have to check with installer or that. Overall, I am happy but there are drawbacks. For comparison a co-worker of mine had the same unit installed in a Mazda CX-7 and does not have to restart the car once they get in, just take the key to ON.

    Got this installed just in time before winter. Though I had to travel 2.5 hours to a different location to get it installed because there are no installers capable of doing this at my store. It was well worth it, as I have used it at least 100 times with no issues. It’s especially grrat with the app. The discount was also great. Also, you can’t beat the free install.
