It was easy to install and easy to use. My major complaint would be the app. I haven’t been able to connect to it for about a month now. I can’t find any necessary updates or anything. It just connects, I try to view a video and it disconnects. You still have the ability to eject the SD card and pull videos that way though. Overall, it was a good investment.

I purchased this camera for $400. It did not work from the start. After a recent firmware update the touch screen quit. It is junk now. Hard to imagine why Cobra is in business. Do yourself a favor and buy any other companies product. This one is awful. I would not recommend it to my worst enemy.

Video quality is great. The software to support live views crowdsourced hazards/radar/red light cams/police and downloading files is loaded with bugs. Most of the features are currently disabled for all IOS users, per Cobra support.

Great 4K Dash cam with crisp images and easy download thru 5G WIFI. I wish it could integrate with car’s navigation system/google maps, and I wish it would allow video downloads integrated with the location map. I am not sure if any Dash cam in current market carries such features.

Purchased couple of weeks ago, having all sorts of trouble.
With the dashcam unit, they had ordered a new one. Cause Rear camera was not working because of the dashcam unit was defective now. My dashcam unit powering on and off. For about 20 minutes. I took a 2 minute video of a powering on and off. I noticed that this morning at about 2 o’clock this morning going into work.
Expensive camera not Worth it.

The camera is great. Great resolution. But the main problem is with the app connecting to the device. It freezes gets stuck on a continuous loop. Doesn’t detect device. Lags to get videos when it does work. Only one phone can be registered to the device so if you have multiple drivers only one person can have access to the dash cam but like i said it never works i well be calling customer support tomorrow to trouble shoot it and if that doesn’t work i week be returning it. The last thing anyone needs after an accident is not being able to retrieve the video footage to send it to yourself for insurance purposes.

Awesome product. Had enough wire that i could hide it from the front cam to back cam. I dropped a 256gb card in, which gave me 15 days of record time. It is Alexa enabled which gives some neat features, but she reacts to the radio which disable the radio.. this can be annoying so i shut that feature off

I kept it for a week and not very impressed. The picture during the daytime was very good at night. You couldn’t even pick up a license plate mostly due to it being wiped out due to headlights and or street lights. My biggest concern was that after about eight or nine minutes it would keep shutting off and that was with a 256 gig card. I have an iPhone 14 and I could not playback any video at all. I would have to take the card out and stick it in my laptop in order to see any of the videos which makes absolutely no sense.

Have owned several different dash cams. Have found Cobra Dash Cams to be the best of the best.
Really like the dual cams – front and rear.
Best protection you can have when there is a question of who is at fault in an incident.
One thing to remember they record EVERYTHING – GPS coordinates, the date and time, AND your MPH!
If you have a LEAD foot on the gas pedal, the Dash Cam will tell on you . . .

I bought this dash cam about a year ago. I have always had power issues off and off when starting my car. Sometimes the camera would come on and sometimes I had to unplug it from the power source and plug it back in. Recently, it started freezing. So, I would unplug it and plug it back in. It would work for a little while and then freeze up again. After searching online for what could be causing this, I took out the SD card and reinserted it. It was fine for about a week and then started freezing again. I did a factory reset, still kept freezing. One of the things I read online is that the SD card could be corrupted, so I replaced it. Nope, that didn’t work either. I wish I had done more research on this brand before buying it because my old cheap one worked much better. In fact, the parking mode worked without having to hard wire it to my car. Lastly, like a lot of other reviews, the app is horrible. I noticed that most people use Apple phones. Well, I use Android and I can’t get my phone to connect to it again after the initial installation. I do not recommend this camera.

This camera can be much better and have clearer pictures. The app for this camera is not comparable with android phones . Had I know I wouldn’t have purchased this with installation. Please Cobra fix , update your compatability and make your app work universal on any mobile . phone . Add an update or offer a comparable mobile app to use with is camera. $400 00 price point is not worth it. Its an okay car cam.

3 days after installation, 2 tires rolled off a truck and damaged my 6-day-old vehicle. Guy said it wasn’t him. State Trooper showed him my 4k camera footage when he tracked him down. Trooper said with out the camera, he wouldn’t have been able to do anything because they weren’t able to prove it. Love the camera.
