I have purchased many refurbished Apple products with no problems. This purchase was an exception. After turning it on it began to have problems. It was difficult to turn on, did not hold a charge (down from 70% to 30% overnight), and was unstable, shutting down apps in the middle of a project. I returned it. The return was hassle-free and the clerk was most pleasant about it.

Best Buy misrepresented the condition of this product. It’s refurbished but the screen is crap with scratches and pitting everywhere, as if the previous owner used to lay it down screen down all the time. I didn’t notice until I got home and now my absolutely perfect trade in is gone, so I can’t return it!
