    This printer was easy to set up and does the job we need it to. I like the ability to print wirelessly from my phone. We haven’t had any issues with it and the quality of the print is good as long as you keep the ink levels up.

    Took a long time to figure out how to get the driver from the CD ROM to load properly. Also, the paper stack gauge is never mentioned in the instructions and I had to figure it out as well. Printer works fine now that I’ve figured it out.

    Basic wired inkjet printer. If you have an old set up, it works great and prints well. I use a vista machine that has been upgraded to 10. It’s perfect for your most basis printing needs.

    This printer was very easy to set up using the Canon website for my iMac. Very simple printing for my home office. I love the fact that I can use the same ink that I use for my other canon printer at my satellite office.

    For the most part, this is a good little printer and that is all I wanted, for printing invoices for my clients (and maybe a few other things). The “only” bad thing I have to say about it is, Canon needs to rethink their driver install software – Look I know computers have gotten more complicated over the years, but this new install process is over doing it, come on we just need a driver to make it work – I actually had to call tech support to install the driver (this I never do!). So they had me plug in the usb cable instead of having it unplugged as the instructions give – so it worked for the first day of setup, then after that nothing, so uninstalled the software and reinstalled again with the tech supports suggestion of usb being plugged in – Now everything works, just have to remember one thing, as the printer goes to sleep (for power savings) you need to turn it back on “just before” you want to print – I am on the Mac and Windows platforms, running an older Mac and Windows computer – On my newer Mac is where the Cannon printer lives, it is shared on my network so “all” computers can print, like I say though – Main computer where the printer lives must be awake and turn the printer back on just before printing from the main computer or any computer on the network and all is fine.

    The printer is a Xmas gift, so we can’t rate it, at this time. We’ve had Canon products before, and have always been very pleased with them.

    The printer is not wifi enabled. And requires purchase of USB-B cable. Who uses that cable anymore. Also, thers is no scan and copy feature.

    Have only used it once since purchased and my son did set up and printed for me but it does seem fine. The price was relatively good. The Cannon printer that I had to replace jammed frequently and began to squiggle print. I finally gave up and purchased this printer. Afraid to give a five star review b/c of last experience. Hopefully this Cannon printer will last.

    Bought this to replace my workhorse old Canon Pixma, which finally died. This one gets a one-star for a simple reason: there is no printer cable included. Nowhere did I see before purchasing this, nor is it written on the box, but you will not be able to use this unless you already have a printer cable. Specifically, you’ll need a male USB-B cable where it plugs into the printer. So add that into the cost of the printer.

    Canon’s answer? We never ship cables, too bad for you. Should have kept the one from the old printer.
