I’ve only had this for a couple weeks, but so far I’m very happy. I print inject decals for my business, so it’s important to have the crispest images and the truest colors I can get.
My previous printer was an Epson, but on recommendation from a photographer friend I opted for a Canon PIXMA. I love the wider format and the fact that I have fewer ink cartridge colors to buy.

This is an excellent and versatile printer. It is big– it will print up to 13″ x 19″ and as small as you want. It is only a printer, not a scanner, faxer, coffee-maker… Color prints are great. Text not quite as sharp as a laser printer, but certainly very good, particularly if you use decent paper. Photos are great as well… not quite what the dedicated, pro photo printers do, but it costs 5x to 10x less than a pro photo printer as well. Set-up is easy: If you are setting up wireless printing to a Mac the instructions are, shall we say, obtuse– do yourself a favor and just connect it via a usb cable, then go to the settings and add it as a printer– it will walk you through setting it up for wireless printing and you can then disconnect the cable.

Love my Canon printer. Had a little trouble connecting wirelessly, but I think it was user error. Bought this product because the price was right and it was a Canon.

seems to work just as good as my IP8720. Just hope it last a little longer. The IP8720 died at just over two years and the only thing the customer service guys could suggest was to replace it when the print head gave errors. We shall see what happens. If it lasts no longer, I will go with the Epsom printer line.

Nice and relatively inexpensive large format printer. Prints are excellent (both photos and graphical art) whether using photo paper or other type of paper.
There are some peculiarities in the software. For instance it can do 13 x 19 inch borderless but only in iOS (don’t know about Android) not MacOS or Linux. In a Mac or Linux you have to make 13×19 a custom setting but will not do borderless. There are other oddities like that but you have to work around them.
It is a little slow but I don’t mind as I only use it for the larger prints. It has 5 ink cartridges that you can replace one at a time which is nice.
Be aware this is only a printer (no scanning or faxing).
Overall I’m pleased with the purchase.

This is great photo printer for the casual user. Set-up is rather easy unless you are printing wireless. It’s no big deal for me to be wired when printing. Quality is very good, just make your monitor is calibrated well enough so the image you see is the image you receive when printing.

 I bought a cricket machine that has all kinds of materials and printing out, decals onto vinyl or whatever type of printable material do they have. I’ll look at me printers all of them. Had one problem you get what you pay, for I considered a machine that was under $100 I guess it would work out really well but the print difference between $100 model and this model, I paid a little over 300 for  has very true to life colors. I compare the print to a actual photograph and obviously there’s no difference. I can pair the quality of the print with a picture I had on my computer, the print quality matched or exceeded the picture quality I  taken into account the fact that if your monitor doesn’t have a very good stream, the pictures are slightly off by colors because of the quality of your monitor  multicolored ink cartridges have enough texture and variance to make the pictures look so vibrant. I am reluctantly purchase this and now after I’ve used it for a month I don’t think I can get a bigger printer. I’ve been seeing some printers my friend has he paid $800 right painter I showed him one of my pictures that came out of my printer and I told him it came out of my canon and he couldn’t believe me so we tested it in the comparison was very close

The image quality of this printer is amazing considering the low price point. Given the many comments regarding wireless setup issues, I was very surprised to have no issues whatsoever.
The biggest challenge for me was dialing in the print settings. PLEASE NOTE: the printer options and media selections have a huge impact on the color and quality of the printout. Once you have those dialed in for the paper types you use, the results are excellent.
