    For the amount of money these cartridges cost the amount of printing is not indicative of a good investment None of the 1200 series cartridges last very long. What is ridiculous is that I only paid around $100.00 for the printer and each time all three cartridges need replacing it costs around $80.

    I love that the black cartridge comes in an extra-large size. I print in mostly black and with the added size, I don’t have to change the cartridge nearly as often.

    The XL cartridges last a lot longer, and I’ve never had any problem with the Canon brand. If this fits your Canon copier, this will work well.

    The Canon 1200 XL is a common item purchased within my household, due to the fact we have three high school students. They go through these ink cartridges frequently, due to school projects and each cartridge I purchase provides a high quality print. Years later, I am still purchasing this item and that’s a testament to the product.

    This ink is more expensive than the aftermarket inks, but the aftermarket black ink, and I have tried several different brands, always seem to clog my printer heads. Canon inks are more expensive but just work better. I wish they weren’t overpriced, but they are.
