Loved the previous version of this model for 4 years — already love this new one more!
Cherokeebat –
Handy all purpose lens. Very quiet when focusing. Have not purchased the video adapter yet but I plan too.
JaBo –
Focuses ridiculously fast, great bokah, great sharpness and clarity, sets standard for “kit” lenses, although it’s not really a kit lens.
Grounderaf –
This autofocus is quick, and adjust to where I want it.

The Canon 18mm – 135mm telephoto lens is ideally suited for everyday use as a “walk around” lens and is perfect for impromptu portrait shots. It is EOS complimentary and will work with numerous Canon cameras. It is an invaluable asset.
Niecy –
Love this lens, use it for everything over the standard lens that came with the Canon Rebel T6. See sample of picture taken with the 18-135mm

Not impressed with his lens at all, I returned it a few days after trying it out. Save a couple more bucks and go for the upgrade.

This is the kit lens from the Canon 80D. We have a 70D and the kit lens that came with that (3 years ago) is nowhere near what the new lens offers. The silent focus is excellent, fast, and works amazing for videos. The 18-135 is a great amount of useful range. Only issue I had was taking clear action shots near the 18 end of the range, but that most likely was something I was doing and not the lens. If you are looking for a “budget” one lens to do all, this is probably the best bet.

Got this lens to replace the lens that I dropped from my canon 60D. Good lens. Only difference from the one that comes on the camera itself is the way you focus when taking videos.

Love this lense. Image stabilizer is the way to go

This is a great all purpose lens for any level of expertise. It is smooth operating, and has great features.

This lens is great, I use it for video, it’s just so quick and quite it probably won’t come off my T6i.

This is a great multi-use lens. It was given as a gift to my teenage son at his request and he uses it frequently for many different settings.

I purchased this lens because I wanted a telephoto and a closeup lens too in a single package. Great lens quality. A must buy
speedorms –
a great lens for intermediate zoom with a great wide angle 18mm.for all but the most demanding long range zooms, this is the one, and is reasonably fast at a good price.

I bought this lens to accommodate my 80D with another option. Currently I was using the nice 15-85, but wanted more range for my walk-around.
I got the lens yesterday, and immediately went out around my yard to take photo’s. I have taken about 250 in the past 2 days, and I am amazed at the speed of the focusing, the ease of moving the barrel, and the sharpness of the photo’s.
I do not pixel peep, but I did and at 100%, I got sharpness that I get on my mirrorless M50.
Everything I have read about the lens [ the good news], is true.
it is lighter than the 15-85, by 25%, so I can see myself using this on a daily basis.

I hot this lens when I purchased my Canon EOS 90D. I love it!

Great lens with crisp picture and practical under several settings.

This lens is great paired it up with Rebel T8i very crisp pictures. The price was up there $600 and went down to $500 during the holidays and went for it glad I did.
LisaQ –
I absolutely love this lens! Takes sharp pictures from a wide range of distances. It’s actually the kit lens to the full frame version of my camera. I never leave home without it.
CARBON56 –
Works as it should. Auto focus is fast. Why must I write 50 characters

This is a replacement lens for me. So far it has performed nicely. It is not very heavy and is pretty versatile.
