The Advantium Technology is great. It lets you use the the top oven as a microwave or oven. Even though I have 2 other ovens, I like using the Advantium oven more, because it heats and cooks faster.

I love this oven! My wife picked this out and I am glad she did, the top convection oven/ microwave is awesome. With just a couple turns of the dial, I can microwave anything. I never thought a knob would be easier to use than a touch pad, but in this case it is. Food cooks very evenly. We have only used the big oven once, but we have no complaints with it’s performance either.

Love this microwave/convection and oven combination. Saves space in my kitchen. This microwave is actually larger size compared to others.
Works –
Packs a lot of features in a small area. The lower oven works well for most baking and roasting. The upper oven/microwave allows having a good sized microwave with a warming oven, and a small second regular oven. You can microwave and convection cook at the same time if you need something fast. We are very pleased with this product and its functionality.

This review is not about the oven/microwave itself but the purchase experience with best buy. I ordered Café – 30″ Built-In Electric Convection Wall Oven on Aug 31st 2021 and was given delivery date of Nov 16th 2021 (2 and half month after order). Well, it was a long wait but we decided to wait. On Nov 15, got a call from Best buy to clean up the kitchen so installers can install on Nov 16th. Got an email on Nov 16th 2021 that the installation was cancelled and I was asked to call to reschedule. Guess what! Next appointment on Feb 16th 2022 (6 months from order date). Few concerns:
1. I should have been told about the 6 months wait time at the time of order
2. If 6 months wait time was unknown at the time of order, I should have been informed about further delays as soon Best buy learned about it (it is absolutely not acceptable to get a call a day before confirming appointment and then get an email canceling the appointment on the day of appointment)
Café – 30″ Built-In Electric Convection Wall Oven may be good oven but the GE appliance purchase experience at Best buy is worst.

Although it took 8 months to get, I am very happy with the micro/oven combo. The only complaint I would have is that the oven takes a bit longer to preheat than I am used to.

Oven is great. Microwave has tons of features. Love the warming function. The oven is convection, which is nice. So many things, hard to choose what I live the most. The look is great.

After a terrible delivery experience, we hired an electrician to reconnect the wire that was loosened by the installers. They never tested the oven to see if it was working and it wasn’t. We called the manufacturer, who sent out a service man and diagnosed that we didn’t have electric to the stove. We had it in the middle of our kitchen for two weeks waiting for the electrician. It is now in place and works beautifully.

We had our new double oven installed just before Christmas. We have been extremely pleased with the functionality of it – and have only begun to learn all it can do.
So far, we’ve enjoyed things like SPEED COOK — Cooking frozen chicken wings that would normally take 25+ minutes and having delicious, perfectly cooked wings in less than 10 minutes was our 1st experiment!
We also love the variety of pre-set options!

Very nice oven. Love the speedcook function in upper oven for reheating leftovers! Large convection lower oven is nice also. Be sure to use graphite lubricant for lower oven shelves so that they glide easier. Programming function for speedcook is a good starting place but we edit times and heating element power settings to make custom presets saved in My Recipes directory regardless of preset.

Came out faulty out of the box. The microwave makes a continuous beeping sound when the door is closed. Once I close the door the beeping sound goes away. No I am waiting for best buy to replace it.

PLEASE GO BUY A Kitchenaid KOCE500ESS. That’s what I had before this and it was 1000x better than this garbage.
Unfortunately, I bought a new home that came with the GE Cafe garbage in it and now I’m stuck with it…
1. It takes almost 40 minutes for the Upper “convection” oven to preheat. And GE says that’s NORMAL. My kitchenaid took less than 10 minutes for the same temperature. Clearing their heating element is poorly designed.
2. It takes forever to cook anything in this thing in general, the kitchenaid was at least 2-3x faster depending on the mode you’re using.
3. The tech that came out to “fix” it couldn’t even plug in his diagnostic tool because it crashed his computer, so they can’t update or test anything.
4. When you go to the oven information menu, it won’t display the model or serial number, it just says “unavailable” so something else is clearly wrong with it.
5. Sometimes you press start and the light comes on but it won’t heat up, and you have to keep opening and closing the door and restarting it until it finally works again
GE won’t do anything to fix or replace it. I just wish I could get my money back to buy a kitchenaid… Don’t make the mistake of buying this thing unless you want to wait for your food to still be cold after waiting forever.

Whattttttttt! An oven attached to a microwave. This invention is extraordinary. The time that this contraption saves me allows me to spend more time in the gym which in turn allows me to eat more. A real win, win !!

The product arrived broken. The oven didn’t work. The rating is more related to the service. Install tech called the night it was installed to order a replacement, apparently Best Buy is contracting support out of Vietnam and they don’t seem to want to help. They never placed the order, had to in store and have them do it, then waited another month for the item.
