had this for months and i cannot complain. i love laying in bed and having it on my chest while i stream games. although if it isnt on a stable surface and you open it too far back….it will start to tip over. other than that LITERALLY THE BEST IPAD KEYBOARD!

I recently purchased this item in conjunction with the purchase of a new iPad Air. Very pleased with this item, although there is some weight to it. IPad can be easily attached and removed from the keyboard and, when closed, the keyboard functions as protection for the iPad screen.

bought this keyboard for my ipad air 5th gen. upon first use, i charged the keyboard, turned it on, and was able to successfully pair it with my ipad. since then however, i will make sure to charge the keyboard and upon unplugging it to use it, the keyboard will not come on. i have tried different chargers to make sure that wasn’t the problem, left it on the charger for two days at a time, and still no connection. while it’s charging the light will come on green and then turn red, but upon me using it, i will press the power button and no light comes on at all. i contacted the manufacturer, so i’m still waiting for a solution. very upset because i purchased this for college and now i’m having to go through loopholes to get this resolved. i would give zero stars but i do indeed like the actual case for the ipad, the keyboard just won’t work.

Great for what I need it for, a little heavy but love the detachable case.

I have tried the Logitech Combo Touch, and the Apple Magic keyboard and this is my first non smart connector keyboard. The price was right so I figured why not, and I must say I am not disappointed. While it does add some heft to the iPad itself (I think it weighs as much as, if not slightly more then the iPad). I had 2 main concerns going into this purchase, and while 1 is still a head scratcher, the other was the connection of Bluetooth vs the Smart Connector. Any past experiences with bluetooth have centered around that slight input lag one gets between keypresses and the initial connection and connection drops here and there. It seems Brydge addressed the connection issues with something they call Instant On, which keeps your keyboard connected, via Bluetooth 5.0, for something like 4 hours after last registered input. Sure after that, you need to reconnect (something which is avoided if using the Smart Connector), but even that itself is swift. I also noticed little to zero lag on keypresses, and the trackpad is responsive . The trackpad is not like the offerings on the Combo Touch or the Magic Keyboard, as the whole top portion is not a pressable area (this is negated if tap to press is used, which I do). It supports gestures and does so pretty well. Now a few pros and cons
Pros:
– Comes with a protective case, that uses pretty strong magnets to “snap” into place against the back
– keys and multi-touch trackpad are responsive with little to no lag input
-Charges via USB-C, and they claim 40hrs life with backlights on. Charging the keyboard itself is also pretty zippy. This can also be a con, if one prefers to use the iPad as the power source via the Smart Connector
-Keyboard lighting. Has 3 modes of brightness but only 1 color. Yes this is nit picky but I like having red or blue or purple as an option (Zagg has this option) so this is a pro and a con
-Claims to have an antimicrobial coating, which in todays days and age is a big thing I guess
Cons:
-Weight. Since this has its own internal battery, this is a pretty beefy keyboard.
-When the iPad is inserted, it becomes somewhat top heavy. There is no stand portion to flip out
-Apple Pencil groove relies on the magnets to hold pencil in place. This one annoys me the most. Logitech and Apple are both guilty of this and I do not know why. If you slide your tablet into a bag or pick up the device wrong, the pencil will more then likely pop off. It doesn’t take much to add a small strap or flap or something to help secure the pencil more but nope, not on this or other more expensive offerings. (grrrrrrrr)
-This may or may not be a thing, but the keyboard portion is not very solid. If you pick up the device, while open, by the keyboard, there is a degree of flexibility that I am not sure I am comfortable with, depending where the battery is of course
Overall, it is a decent option for those who do not want to spend 150-300 on a keyboard for their iPads, especially when it is on sale like this. If it was full price, I might consider other options but on sale, I would recommend it. Now I have to go try and fashion my own strap or something because my iPad goes in and out of bags a lot during the course of the day and if it keeps popping off the pencil, it will get more annoying real quick.

This thing is SWEEET! When considering the wireless keyboard and magnetic stand. This is a way better value than the Apple counterpart.
BaileyR –
Working fine then the letters on the left side started going out. Haven’t even had it for 6 months

I’ve been using this keyboard since the day I got it and I absolutely love it. It’s like having a MacBook way better than the Magic Keyboard that I had even if you have to charge it/connect Bluetooth. But I’ve charged it once the day I got it back in November and it’s lasted I haven’t had to charge it again just yet
Kiki –
Easy to assemble Feels great to type on . And easy to remove to use as iPad only.
I have the Logitech folio for my other iPad and it’s also easy and has a holder for the pencil which this one doesn’t.

Beautiful OLED screen fantastic colors. Glad I made this purchase. Don’t think twice do it.
Unhappy –
Poor setup instructions and poor customer service. Shiitld have stayed with Logitech, I know they have good products.
Andeterry22 –
Makes my iPad work like a Mac book! Definitely a great buy for your iPad Pro!
EBert –
This product is super neat, love the capability of detaching the iPad and having a durable case & easily being able to reattach & use with the sustainable keyboard. The last thing I wanted was for this product to be flimsy, but super durable. A must buy.
KellyF –
Great keyboard for the ipad only concern is the mouse pad does not work as well as others i have tried.
MarkG –
it took a little while getting used to the size. But it is awesome! it comes with a snap around frame to hold the Ipad, and i have already dropped it once and this literally saved my iPad. the keys feel great, and I can switch between the touch screen features and the keyboard at the same time. compared to a laptop, hands down it is a game changer for me.
PamelaB –
Very satisfied with my purchase. This is the 3rd time you sent me this to fill out.
Emaegg –
I like it, but I would like it to be a little easier to perform some gestures
EvelynS –
Good for school use and watching videos normally recommend to use
Electrician71 –
This is a great keyboard case for the 11” iPad Pro. The iPad case can be removed from the keyboard when needed.
Antonio68 –
Works great, very easy to detach keyboard from iPad.
BarbaraU –
This case is very durable with a long lasting battery.
BenjaminG –
Product is very nice and large keys are very easy to use.
KAhl –
This adds a lot of bulk and weight, but its a decent little unit if you can pick it up for a Good price. Plus if you have bigger hands, thr accidental touches on the touch pad get annoying. I use it for business and it is definitely rugged enough for my application. Plus the removable case is a nice touch. Just be aware if you have the 4 gen ipad pro, it will cover the speaker grills a bit. Other than that its a decent little device.
KevinG –
Fantastic case and keypad! Very durable case and backlit keys are a nice plus for a keyboard-case sold at a significant savings compared to the Apple product.

I have on several bridge keyboards, but this one was not one of my favorites. It is very bulky, and while I get the concept of having a detachable case for your iPad, it leaves a lot to be desired. The keyboard is nice and types well, but the bulkiness and weight make it extremely difficult to carry around regularly. The case is good quality, but you can get a much nicer one for way less. I ended up returning this and getting the hinged version instead.
ArelizR –
i am very happy with this product,it is very practical,i would highly recommend.

I love my ipad keyboard. I highly recommend it. It is easy to use and keys are so soft and quiet.
JimmyBoy –
This is a really well-made iPad accessory. I love how it works! It is a bit on the heavy side, but it provides excellent drop protection (unlike the Apple keyboards).
k9erthlvr –
As others reported the case cracked at the hinge within a couple months. Overall, comfortable typing and stays out when opened. Very over priced for quality.
Keene44 –
Offers superior protection and mouse pad, keyboard and gestures all work flawless.
EliasS –
Awesome tech
We’ve been looking to upgrade this now
MichaelR –
Bought as gift, it was a big hit! Easy starting and use. Protective case is good! Would definitely recommend!
GreenOwlMedia –
This is the keyboard I’ve always dreamed of. I’ve owned a few other brands and the Brydge has them all beat. Long battery life, easy to set up, and the return on the keyboard is fantastic. It really does turn your iPad into a laptop.
ScreenProtectotCracked –
Love the keyboard. Compact, a charge lasts a long time and works great!
Kenzosan44 –
I love this product as it feels better than the Apple keyboard and has more functionality. They last very well however the company went out of business but this keyboard will outlast Apple.
Unknown –
Nice but not great. The case is sharp, but I didn’t like the keyboard that much. It’s bluetooth, but nothing special. Just Meh, so I returned mine.
ErickaR –
Reminds me of the protection of the OtterBox. The only reason it’s not 5 stars is the weight, which is really heavy, and the keyboard is really small.
Nicholas –
This product is amazing, already use from the old version
SandraR –
Love this one! It’s very well made and a great price. Way better price than the apple keyboard.
ElaineG –
This rating is mainly because BRYDGE is no longer in business and Best Buy continues to sell this product with the knowledge that there is no company behind it to honor its warranty. Best Buy acknowledges this is the case and feels NO obligation to help. This was confirmed to me today, with no embarrassment, by RYAN, the store manager of the Best Buy in Greenville SC. Literally, with no apology or embarassment.
OliviaL –
Excellent product still have it and still works great
Garrett0196 –
Great keyboard case. I love the fact that it doubles up as a standalone case that you can take off of the keyboard. Not sure what people are complaining about the weight for since even with the case its lighter then the average laptop. Super portable.
KZ92 –
I really liked fhe device itseld however it eas really heavy.
ManuelB –
Always a good choice to buy Apple products.
Sturdy and works really well
QaziK –
Excellent keyboard with laptop like capabilities for ipad!
SeshanarasimhaM –
Very good item amd kid is happy with the wireless pad
RamM –
Excellent product, a tiny bit heavy but protects my iPad perfectly and holds a charge well.
TBracken –
The best clamshell case for the ipad! The greatest feature is the ability to remove the ipad from the case with ease. AND… turns the ipad into mini laptop with the fully functional trackpad.
