    It’s ink and it lasts awhile- I print hundreds of pages of card stock (front and back) on one cartridge. I just wish Best Buy would offer the XL cartridge so I wouldn’t have to reorder so much.

    On 7/30/2021 I received my Brothers printer as well as another set of color and black cartridges. Black is generally the color that is most used but since 7/30/2021 I have used ONLY 1 black cartridge and 5 reams of paper!! On 1/13/2022 I needed to install a new “black” …! THAT is not only quality and quantity but also cost effective. Excellent purchase.

    I gave you a 1 star rating because it was the only cartridge left on the shelf. Your selction of Brother printer supplies is non existant. Either carry the product and stock on the shelves or get out of the printer supply business.
