  1. James

Clean crisp sound that adds that real movie feel to our home theater. No reverberation or distortion. Makes us feel like we’re in the action and experience deep tones. Wonderful subwoofer. Would recommend hands down.

  2. Sugarboys33

I picked up two of these subs to complete my home theater. One would have been plenty but they look good and put out the lows that one wants to hear.

  3. Sreenaccub

Such a little sub for such a big sound. But I do have a small room.

  4. Rumrap

I was trying to replace a great
    Subwoofer for my home theater
and this one does exactly what I
    Wanted.

  5. KellyS

Great. My husband loves this. Worth the extra cost!

  6. Rick

B&W Woofer Speaker great sound. Love the sound but the speaker is deeper than my fireplace can support. So will have to figure out an alternate. It’s great to listen to all high and low sounds that we’re not audible on my previous Bose home theater system which was 10 years old.

  7. Mtallis

This sub provided everything I needed for my theater. I loved it so much that I bought 2 to balance out the base on either side of my home theater.

  8. Christmas

Bought this B&W 10″ 600 series couple months ago to pair with my CM8. It give a clear deep bass. It sounds amazing!!!

  9. DENS4D

We had the sub-woofer installed and hooked up by Geek Squad, which saved me all the headaches. Sound quality is amazing and the difference in our home entertainment center is 100% better.

  10. Brion

Bowers and Wilkins speakers some great. The more you spend the better they sound.

  16. Gibson339

I have been an audiophile for at least 40 years. For my “stereo room” I power 2 stereo channels for the “front” and 2 stereo channels for the “rear”. It’s really just 2 sets of left channel and 2 of the right. Power comes from 2 ADCOM 5400 amplifiers running into an ADCOM GFP-565. I power the subwoofer by using the L/R “Lab” line outs from the 565. The 2 ADCOM amps are not bridged. The “front” speakers are new B&W 606’s (in place of a pair of ancient Yamaha NS-200M’s that are still incredibly accurate and very loud). My “rear” speakers are B&W 684 S2’s. Replacing a 75lb Klipsch subwoofer required a lot of listening and comparing. Many thanks to Best Buy’s Magnolia staff, in all West Palm Beach area locations, who sometimes would allow me to test out all different combinations on the touchscreen selector (North Palm Beach, Wellington and West Palm Beach and which are all only within a 15-30 minute drive from my house). I always use selections from my TIDAL app and hook-up via bluetooth to the AV panel. After listening to 7 different high-end subs, all paired with B&W 606’s, I was convinced that this 10″ 600 was the most accurate subwoofer I have ever fooled-with. This is a tight sub and perhaps the only one I found suitable for music-only applications. Like the rest of the Bowers & Wilkins speakers, the engineering is superb and often brilliant as with the long-standing “Nautilus” design and the concept of tweeter isolation. These Brits know how to engineer the finest “hi-fi” equipment in the world and if you are into music you owe it to yourself to give this sub a listen.

  17. jmdred

The base sound is amazing. We can’t have the volume up to high because of vibrations.

  18. llcrowe

You can feel the bass with this subwoofer. It is a great addition to any sound system. It has several settings to adjust to fit any room.

  19. Johnson

B&W is one of the best around I think. This subwoofer doesn’t disappoint in our living room.

  20. MeteorMike

Sound is amazing, but i cant help but think it could even be better. But the directions are no help whatsoever in setting up the switches and dials on the back of this thing. Probably a great sub, if you know what you’re doing…I’m just a novice. But still sounds really good.

  21. stith691

I bought this several months ago. It has an awesome bass
and use it primarily playing music. I paired this with the Kef Ls50 wireless and they are match made in heaven.

  22. rubicon

I told people I got this sub-woofer and they oh you got a BMW? I was like is that the nickname? Several folks said the same thing.

This is sub-woofer makes my basement feel like a movie theatre. I love it!!!!! The music from my mac mini and optical interface is amazing! Even if streaming and Air Play sounds great. I am very happy with this purchase.

  23. William

Love it when I get it to work hahaha should display what’s Comparable and what’s Not

  24. EandOh

Outstanding subwoofer. It’s being used with a B&W HTM6 center channel and B&W 607 bookshelf speakers. Really love the sound of this set up. B&W makes great components!

  25. Pickybuyer

My Bowers and Wilkins 10” subwoofer is a fantastic addition to my entertainment center. It does a great job of filling in the low frequencies in my music. I have the surround sound (4 speakers) and the back speaker also by Bowers and Wilkins. My Bose system went out and Best Buy’s home adviser highly recommended this system. The Bowers and Wilkins far exceed the music from my old Bose system. I am so glad that I used the Best Buy home adviser to give me expert advice and choose the just right system for my home.

  26. Shawn

The Bowers & Wilkins 600 series 10″ 200W Subwoofer was the topper to the home theater system. Great base!

  27. Billk

This subwoofer for the size plays loud but small enough to hide behind the chair in the back of the room.I also added the SVS isolation feet to make it a lot sable.Great for Movies and Music with 7.1 Bowers and Wilkins 600 Anniversary Edition speakers.

  28. rlk1

This matches very well with the B&W 603 towers I bought along with it (we also have B&W 600 series center, but I do my critical listening in stereo). It’s worth spending time adjusting this; if your receiver has a calibration procedure you should do so.

The bass is tight and as deep as can reasonbly be expected from a 10″ driver in a small enclosure. We have a fairly large listening area with cathedral ceiling and have no problem filling it with this with minimal distortion.

This makes a real difference with music with strong low bass content — third movement of Saint-Saens’s Organ symphony, or the “Goddess of Thunder” Alejandra Villarreal’s bass with The Warning. I’m not a big movie devotee so can’t speak to low frequency effects. If you want 20 Hz or below you need to be looking at something bigger, but not much music goes much below 25-30 Hz.

  29. TONDAD

This Woofer kicks butt. Has a ton of thump. Love it.

  30. Stan

It is hard to evaluate against other systems without comparing them side by side, but I do feel improvement in lows and sub-lows comparing to the 603 front speakers alone. And in test, this subwoofer reproduces much better than a 12” one I am replacing.

Keep volume at 9 o’clock, at least initially, as the instructions suggest. I also had to decrease the level after automatic adjustment for a more complimentary sound (again, as the instructions said).

The instructions are not the easiest to read, if I remember correctly, but most or all other settings worked best at their defaults anyway.

  31. Rocky

This subwoofer sounds amazing and had deep bass. I like that it has it’s own volume and frequency controls. I feel like I have a movie theater in my living room.

The only thing I was not happy about that it needs a single cable to operate from the receiver. By which it was not included with the sub at the time of purchase. Also , something the sales team forgot to inform me of. You pay that much for a single subwoofer and they can not throw in cable with it.

  32. Chad

I have two of these subs and have been happy with them. Love how compact they are and the base works well for both movies and music.

  33. Review

I wanted to replace a 25 year old Energy Subwoofer. This smaller unit packs a lot more punch in a much smaller footprint.
This speaker coupled with two B&W bookshelf speakers really brings action movies to life.
    Very happy with purchase.

  34. ED89

I have two of these subwoofer , the sound its tight and precise, its not powerful enounght to blow your windows but instead you get deep and detailed bass , you also get EQ (A or B) bass extetension (A,B,C) and phase control (0, 180)allowing you tailoring the sound to your taste , perfect to small to medium rooms.

  35. Young

Great sound and deep bass. Easy to set up with existing system. Very happy with my purchase

  36. Robw

This sub woofer delivers great bass for my surround system.

  37. javaman

Without doubt, the best speakers I’ve ever owned. I used B&W for my home cinema when I lived in the UK, so was delighted to discover I could buy them here.

  38. Brim

Bass completely stopped working all together 11111

  44. JohnR

Great addition to my home audio system. Can’t go wrong with bowers and Wilkins. Service excellent at Best Buy.

  45. MichaelM

I had to replace one of my 12″ 200 W powered M&K subwoofers so I chose to replace it with two (2) B&W 600 series 10″ 200W powered subwoofers and was amazed at how tight and true the bass was.

  46. NicholasK

There is nothing more I can say. The sub works perfectly with my Bower and Wilkons speaker set

  47. LoLo

Once arriving to pick subwoofer noticed the item was not in the condition it was said to be in. No feet, no cover and no box.

  48. Montage

This is far more than its meager wattage would suggest! Its a musical sub!

  49. RobertF

I find this subwoofer adds just the right amount of bass to the BW 606-S3 speakers to round out the sound stage. Well worth the investment.

  50. Judd

Looking for a subwoofer to enhance our syrround sound system. We have defintive technology tower speakers that are great but the built in subwoofers jusr aren’t enogh. Hooked up this subwoofer and insting improvement.
