Bosch has a good company name, but our unit has not lived up to that standard. We received limited operating instructions and scant troubleshooting instructions. Jet dry module leaks and option control buttons not functioning. Cycle control buttons don’t work. Decible level does meet expectations.

Buyer beware. We purchased this model last year and installed at our house on 2/3/22. As of yesterday, 3/27/23, it will not run a full cycle, and stops every ten minutes and blinks at us. It’s kind of like the 1 year warranty was on a timer with this thing. Of course we didn’t get an extended warranty, so a $1000+ dishwasher now needs hundreds of dollars of service less than 1 year and 2 months after purchase.

Not really fair of me to review because I haven’t been able to use my brand new dishwasher. It looks very nice and the controls look easy to use. I’ve had it now for 3 1/2 weeks (after being delivered a couple of weeks late) but this week is the earliest they could get someone to come fix it. I will repost and hopefully upgrade my review.

This is an excellent dishwasher. It is quiet and has an adequate number of cycles. The automatic cycle runs for two hours, but there is a shorter cycle. Please note the depth of this dishwasher, it is slightly less deep than other models and fits into our tight space perfectly!

I LOVE the fact that I can have a quiet conversation in the same room as this dishwasher while it’s operating. I LOVE the well-designed drawers that fit items of all sizes. I LOVE that it cleans well and looks great. I don’t love that after a couple weeks of ownership a long crack appeared near the code display on the top control panel. Thankfully, we were under warranty and a replacement panel was installed at no cost to us. Hopefully this defect will be phased out of newer machines of this same model. Our rating would have been five stars if that crack had not occurred.

We bought a house (2400 sq ft) and could hear the included dishwasher from anywhere inside it. We immediately upgraded to this, having spoiled ourselves on a Bosch dishwasher in our previous house. Yes, it is expensive, but it works amazingly well (even with our hard water) and is so amazingly quiet. You won’t regret it.

Getting used to loading, but that is to be expected after using the previous dishwasher for 25 years. Quiet, as advertised. Drying could be better. Short cycle time is great. Bought this model because of all stainless steel interior. Liked look of less expensive 500 Series with exterior controls but it did not have all stainless steel interior.

Super quiet. Great looking with no buttons showing. Nice not to have heating coil at the bottom so plastic can be put anywhere without fear of melting. Using the “auto dry” button is a must which makes the dryer pop open when done. If forget to hit that button some moisture remains. With it popping open everything’s dry the next morning.

Nice looking dishwasher with no show controls and hidden pocket handle. It is super quiet and I love the red light that hits the floor alerting you the unit is running. I like the idea of the 3rd rack but it isn’t deep, therefore you can only place small flatter items such as silverware and knives in it. The rack is not adjustable so it’s pretty useless as I can place all of this items in the basket. As for cleaning….it seems to wash well but note I always rinse my dishes before loading them in washer. I have not loaded dishes with any cakes on or dried food. My plastic bowls that have scratches or wear does leave dried detergent on them. I use the finish pods and finish rinse aid as suggested. I will try liquid detergent next to see if this helps. What I absolutely do not love is the drying. Not all my dishes come out dry especially plastic wear which was advised, as it doesn’t have any type of heating element. I also am very disappointed with the silverware basket. It is cheap and doesn’t even snap on to the rack to hold it in place. When taking out silverware, the basket literally falls off. To pay such a price for a dishwasher ranked as high quality, this was definitely overlooked. Lastly, I wanted the 800 model due to the fact it supposedly dries better but they don’t come in white. I prefer bright white appliances over stainless steel bc it brightens up the space and doesn’t show fingerprints and water marks so easily. Wish they offered white in all models. All in all, so far I like the unit but it does fall short in the areas mentioned. We will see how it holds up over time.

Although we have only had this new Bosch dishwasher, we already love it. From the adjustable hieght of the middle rack to the 3rd rack, it is easy to find a spot for everything. Even the pots come out dry. It’s so quite that we sometimes ask each other if we remembered to start it. Another great job by the team at Bosch.

Love this ultra-quiet dishwasher. Without the light at the bottom of the dishwasher to indicate the dishwasher is running, you would never know. Any time I am running my dishwasher and we have guests, they cannot believe we are running our dishwasher.
It is a beast for cleaning or dishes, saves on energy, and has a lot of versatility and adjustments for the racks that conform to any need I have.
It’s a must have for your home.

One year in I’m still scratching my head as to how I paid so much for a dishwasher that doesn’t dry your dishes. I should have looked into this a bit better as I was mislead by the “Auto Dry” marketing. “Auto Dry” just opens the door when its done, and in five or ten hours most your stuff is usually mostly dry unless it’s plastic, and in that case it’s still completely wet. This is fine when running it at the end of the day, but if you need to do a quick run and get the dishes out quick, you’re stuck hand drying everything like it’s Little House on the Prairie.
It’s nice how this is quiet, but yeah, not thrilled with how the business suits at Bosch are misleading people by labeling the “open door when done” button like it controls some non-existent dryer. They’ve definitely lost some trust with me.
I also wish it would use a little more water when rinsing. Nearly everything comes out tasting of soap unless you put about 1/3 of the recommended soap in the wash, and still, I’m finding myself rinsing most of the dishes by hand before eating. Yes I’m using rinse-aid.
This brings me back to the “Auto Dry” feature which you can’t activate if you choose any cycles but the full wash. Also after choosing your options, it’s impossible enable “Auto Dry” unless you do a hard reset, which is insanely stupid.

This is the quietest dishwasher I’ve ever had the pleasure of using! It has a variety of wash cycles including a speed wash. It comes with a big price tag but it is worth every penny!

– Many different smart ways to arrange dishes with changing configurations on racks (though racks are a relatively primitive feature on any dishwasher).
– love the auto-air feature that opens the door ant the end to enhance drying -it really works well. Even plastics in the middle racks come out dry.
– Love the larger capacity dry/rinse aid fill-up, so we don’t have to fill it up aa often as we did in our previous KitchenAid.
– Super quiet.
– Energy saving seems great but I still don’t understand why choosing Regular instead of Auto is better and takes more time.
Tip: we did discover that the Finish brand tabs work far better here than the Cascade brand. Especially on our copper cookware which it actually shines instead of oxidizing. I have never seen this happen before in a previous dishwasher.
We came to this from an expensive KitchenAid that was too expensive to repair after 4 years. Our entire extended family on both sides and in 3 different countries swore by their Bosch dishwashers and even though the North American models are a decade behind the euro models -we can see why they love them. It’s a night and day difference in terms of cleaning, drying, rack arrangement, capacity, and noise management. The KitchenAid was prettier but I will never buy KitchenAid (or any of these Westinghouse brands appliances) ever again. Parts breaking and falling off all the time crude assembly quality, replacement after such short time because the unreliable parts are more expensive than a new dishwasher, its landfill pollution not to mention washing quality that’s mediocre at best on these. We are delighted with the Bosch!

I Love that it’s so quiet. But it would’ve been better if the center rack was adjustable. Tall things have to be placed in a slanted position in order to fit.
Even so, I still would not trade it for anything other dishwasher. (4.5 stars)
