The Bosh dishwasher was pretty much “middle of the road” in terms of cost, but the offer of free installation made it a pretty good deal. So far it has performed well, although we are still getting used to the best way to load it. Sometimes it feels like there is actually less room than our old 15 year old one, but we are getting better each time.

It seems to hold less dishes than did my previous, it is designed more for a family than a single person: too many plate slots and not enough silverware holders. I assumed that my top rack would be adjustable for my tall glasses but no luck. The cup design is for small cups not mugs so fold down is useless. Sometimes the dishes, especially the silverware, are not cleaned. Note: dried avocado must be washed prior to putting in dishwasher.

The dishwasher is super quiet and has three racks with two that are adjustable. So far so good and I have no complaints. The first Bosch I’ve owned and it also came with a trim piece which matched it. There are different cycles to choose from and the controls are on the top so there are no worries if you have little ones who like pushing buttons on everything.

Even using Rinse Aid, running the Extra-Dry cycle, and opening the door right when the cycle is done to let it vent the dishes are practically soaking wet. I wish I would’ve noticed before buying that there isn’t even a drying unit in the machine.

This dishwasher replaced an old Kenmore dishwasher that was worn out. I did the installation myself with no trouble. This dishwasher is so quite that you hardly know its running. Dishes are clean and the wife is happy. All is well.

Had this installed on 5/11. It’s being returned because after 4 washes, it does not clean well. I have had to hand wash multiple items after cycles and I have to inspect every single item before putting them away. Did not have to do that with my previous dishwasher. Defies the purpose of having a dishwasher. I tried all sorts of things, like doing the rinse cycle prior, different settings, etc. nothing worked. I wish you luck if you do buy this dishwasher.

Would have been a 5star except I really dislike the racks. The prongs are so close together it is difficult to load fully. I can only fit about 1/2 the dishes I was able to load into my previous dishwasher. Other than the racks, I am beyond pleased! This is a really quite dishwasher. I love the adjustable racks, top shelf/drawer for utensils, and it works like a charm…I love having crystal clean glassware❤

Doesn’t dry the dishes, takes over 2 hours to run a load of dishes, the silverware holder is to small and the top rack is of very little value. I should of asked about the drying element (assumed it had one, it doesn’t), and should of asked about the length of the wash cycles…it takes forever to run a load of dishes.

We have really enjoyed this dishwasher thus far. It isn’t super quiet, nor is it terribly noise. It has a wonderful top shelf for larger utensils that we have been using for all our utensils. Highly recommend that top shelf for all utensils. it is pretty slick. We have only had it for a few weeks, so I can’t tell you long term how we like it.

This is the first “high end” dishwasher I’ve ever bought and was little skeptical about the fitting of items with a third rack but I will say this is a really nice dishwasher. Especially since shipping is free for Bosch products so that definitely helped with my decision.
I’ll try to break this down to the 4 most important parts and one honest con that honestly isn’t that serious imo.
Room:
It’s roomy enough to fit a number of pots and pans (strategically) on the bottom. Mason jars, coffee pot, bowls on the top and large utensils, Ramekins, silverware on the third rack. I wouldn’t recommend just throwing dishes in there Ike the beat up one we replaced so it can thoroughly cleans everything. The third rack can be removed as well for larger top items. Overall. Very spacious.
Cleaning:
Not going to lie, this thing is a beast when it comes to cleaning, especially with the extra dry setting. Oh man, I don’t care if it takes an extra 30 minutes I’m always pressing that. I generally rise my dishes and my wife just throws them in there and combined they both still come out super clean. Just remember that placement factors or it’s just my OCD. I use the HE pods and Jet dry, I would fully recommend you follow the directions to keep the dishwasher well maintained for longevity.
Loudness:
I forgot the DB on this but it is SUPER quiet and I enjoy the red light as a indicator that it is running. Initially I kept putting my ear to it to make sure it was it was actually running. I feel spoiled Cause our 10 year old beat up washer sounded like a Jet engine from a 757 whirling around in the house.
Settings:
We mostly use normal with extra dry, takes about 2:35hrs which isn’t a bother for me. If your quiet and can clean the hell out of my dishes, take all the time you need. There is a 60minute setting that I’ve used with small amounts of dishes but the extra dry automatically adds 30 minutes. Settings are straightforward and the look is clean with having no buttons in front. Very seamless and clean.
Honest Con:
My only one con is that if dishes sit in the washer for a period of time as you are adding more waiting for it to be filled it does start to grow a smell, internally though. It’s a small con but I think it’s because of interior material used. Food on dishes, etc. it’s to be expected but once a week I run the sanitize mode and it’s gone but that’s about it.
Overall I would absolutely recommend this dishwasher, especially for the free installation. We love it.

Overall, it’s seems to be a good dishwasher except for the fact that we’re going to have to have it it replaced because the door came with dings. This by no means has any reflection on best buy or the installation of the unit. It’s just one of those things that occur. Everyone has been very professional.

We bought a Bosch because it’s the best in the industry, at least for the average homeowner.
We can’t seem to fit nearly the amount of dishes into this unit as we were able to fit in our old Whirlpool Gold. This unit also seems to struggle to dry our dishes, especially plastic type dishes.
The unit is very attractive, aesthetically, and very quiet. We will continue to play with the settings to see if we can find an acceptable level of performance.
At this point, only having had it installed 2 weeks ago, it’s hard for me to give an accurate assessment. I may recommend this to a friend, but only with caution.

It uses a red light to let you know it’s running! That’s quiet. Everything comes out spotless as well. It replaced a very old unit so it was our first experience programming dishwasher options. Had Bosch been a bit less confident in my ability to remember three different buttons they’d have chosen some defaults that would have saved some head-scratching. We love it and we were never enthusiastic about running the old and loud unit but we’re using this one full time.

The racks don’t accommodate bowls correctly nor any other slightly odd shaped dishes. The water never gets hot enough even when you run your kitchen sink hot water as was suggested before starting the dishwasher. Really! I owned a Kenmore and a KitchenAid for both for over 25 years and never had any problem with hot water or completely drying my dishes. I’ve had to physically dry my dishes after running them through this dishwasher. Basically I don’t even use it unless I have a large dinner and need a place to put all of the dirty dishes.

We purchased the Bosch 100 Series Dishwasher to replace an older malfunctioning dishwasher when we had a new kitchen counter installed. We don’t use the dishwasher often, so we didn’t want to spend a fortune, and the 100 Series was the perfect blend of value, features and style. The racks can be configured in multiple ways, and the 100 Series is quiet and efficient. In addition, Best Buy’s installation crew was efficient and neat, and removed the old unit for recycling. Only caveat: starting the dishwasher wasn’t totally intuitive.

The dishwasher cleaned reasonably well for the first two years, but has always been very poor at drying the dishes. Then the problems started. CONSTANT E24 errors. E24 means there is an issue with the water draining from the unit. Three repair visits and a new drain pump later and it still doesn’t work. Now less than three years after purchase I’m looking for a new one. This was my first experience with a Bosch appliance. It will also be my last.
