    The matching hood to the Italian made stove is excellent. It is stainless steel. It matches the dishwasher and refrigerator, nicely. We chose this particular product for a number of reasons, one of them, is that vents to the outdoors.
    The installer went through the ceiling, through the attic, and then out the roof. The alternative is to use an indoor vent, with a type of carbon filter, and it recycles the air but does not vent to the outdoors. It is beefy looking, and it complements the kitchen. It has a low decibel sound. The price was right…
