The Babybrezza is a solid machine that has some shortsighted features but the core of what it does it does well.
The core of the product is to make bottles quickly, mixed well and at temperature. It does that very well.
The “advanced” features like the Wi-Fi are pretty limited. The app just allows you to change the bottle settings and start the bottle from your phone. How useful is this really? Not very.
Why not have a feeding log feature in the app? Wouldn’t it be nice to see a record of how much you fed and when? Why not add other features like growth trackers and such? The app is just so limited.
The other downside is the cleaning. You do really need a second funnel to make the product practical. Otherwise, expect to get caught having to wash a funnel with a baby in your arms and crying.
But it makes bottles quicker than I could by hand and for that I am grateful.

I really wanted to love this thing. I don’t. I love being able to just tell the machine I want a 4oz or whatever bottle size, but there are several issues which make it much less convenient than one would expect.
1. The funnel. I didn’t expect to have to clean it after every 4 bottles. I have twins, so that means I’m cleaning the stupid funnel every 4 hours. Ridiculous. Okay, so they recommend you order an extra funnel, which I did. I’m still cleaning the stupid funnel at least 3 times a day, even with two funnels!
2. The dispenser. The wiper mechanism pushes the powdered formula down through a hole into the funnel. After a couple of days of use, I noticed that my twins seemed exceptionally hungry, much more so than usual. I also noticed the formula looked watery. I took apart the machine to discover that the dried formula had apparently accumulated some water from the funnel below, and it crusted over the dispenser hole, barely allowing any powdered formula to pass, rendering the mix very watery. No wonder my kids were hungry – they were getting almost straight water! I chalked this up to an anomaly, and resolved to make doubly sure the funnels were completely dry before inserting into the machine. It didn’t help. A couple of days later, the same thing happened. And a couple more days later, it happened yet again. I live in Southern California where the climate is very dry, so it’s not ambient humidity causing this problem. It’s a defect in the machine. I now use the machine only to dispense pre-measured amounts of water, which is marginally useful, especially in the middle of the night when you don’t want to futz with trying to find the little lines on the sides of the bottles.
3. The water tank. There’s no gauge, only an indicator which tells you you’re out of water. You can’t see the water tank unless you remove it or at least turn the machine around backwards. This could be designed better.
4. The WiFi. The WiFi feature sounds really cool and useful, but the reality is, I only used it once. First off, by the time you open the app and tell it what to do, you could have just walked to the machine and pressed the darn button. I mean, you gotta walk to the machine anyway to get the filled bottle, and it only takes 5 or 10 seconds to push the button and wait for the formula. It takes longer than that to open the app and tell it what you want. As well, you better make sure you’ve always got an empty bottle in place, or nothing’s going to happen anyway. It’s just not a practical feature.
I would have returned this machine, but the box was discarded before I had a chance to repackage it, so now I have a $300 water dispenser. At least I no longer have to clean the funnel every 4 bottles, as I never put formula in it anymore. Just water.

I purchased this because my son is combo feeding half formula half breast-feeding and it just seemed extremely convenient to have a bottle made in 20 seconds or less. It wasn’t until I started using this machine that my son became a lot more fussy colicky and just seem to be uncomfortable and in pain. Talk to the doctor where they did some tests and we determined that he had been receiving the incorrect formula to water ratio when the doctor asked I stated that the only thing that was different was this machine and they had me take him off and turn off when I started mixing the formula myself, my son went back to his normal happy self with no problems. My pediatrician advised against this, and warned me to never use it again because it could cause water intoxication in such a young child. Buyer beware. My son is 2 months old

Do not think the WiFi feature is necessary. I am constantly having to reconnect and almost never use the app. Would go with cheaper model.

Always had my eyes on this! Luckily I found it at 50% off. Super convenient and definitely is a must have for all moms. This saves me time especially when I’m by myself at home and/or when the baby wakes up at night and I can easily make a bottle all through the app.
You can set 4 presets on the app. And the app will tell you if a bottle is missing and when the funnel needs to be cleaned. Again, convenient and so worth it!

This appears to be a commonly reported issue amonst users on the google play store. During setup the wifi connectivity light goes from blinking blue to solid blue after entering the password into the app. It then returns to blinking and app says it couldnt connect.

I like the Baby Brezza as it comes in very handy, especially in the middle of the night when you’re trying to quickly make a bottle. It has built in wifi, so u can preload a bottle and wirelessly make it, but that’s only for one bottle at a time. It does require you to clean it every 4 bottles to prevent clogging, which can be a bit tedious and annoying but on the minor side of things. One main reason I give it 4 stars is because it can be a bit noisy in the middle of the night while it’s mixing. The motor is pretty loud, although my babies seem not to mind at times. Other than that, I think it’s a pretty good buy.

This is dangerously inaccurate. They claim to test every machine, but I really struggle to believe that. After using for just a couple days, our 1 month old had some serious GI distress (lots of diarrhea) his volume increased by 10 oz a day and he seemed in general to be in great discomfort. We thought it could be just a growth spurt but after 7 days it just seemed to get worse. We went back to manually making bottles and he quickly returned to normal. Keep in mind we meticulously cleaned the funnel per the instructions and used the setting for Similac formula. My husband is a medical doctor and I am a chemist with a doctorate degree, we were pretty determined to understand what was going on. We purchased an analytical scale and followed the instructions on how to measure the dispensed formula. The water dispenser was both accurate and precise at the 2 oz and 4 oz setting. The BIG problem is that too little formula is dispensed. There should be 8.6 g per every 2 oz of water but ours was consistently dispensing 7.2 g. The formula being made was far too dilute. If we had continued with this, we could be facing serious health issues due to unsafe formula preparation. (We tested everything in triplicates, tested at different times over different days). I reached out to customer service for a refund and generally warm of the dangers of this machine and all they offered was an exchange (not even a full refund) which is preposterous! I am obviously never trusting a baby brezza product again. They claim it is more accurate than making a bottle by hand but that simply is not true. I thoroughly do not understand how they are able to sell such a machine that poses such a risk to babies and are so nonchalant when their machines are faulty. I am super disappointed and concerned.

I like the concept of the machine and that it heats up the water and is easy to use. I don’t like how messy it gets. It’s requiring for you to clean the dispensing attachment after every third bottle, and when you take it off all the formula falls everywhere and I spend more time cleaning the area than making my baby some food. Also, when the attachment is removed and you keep the machine where the baby is sleeping, be sure to keep quiet as it can be a bit loud when installing it back (the two pieces can come apart and get stuck). Also you need to know exactly what type of formula you use so that the settings can be correct and your baby gets the right amount. Loud and messy when dispensing too. Although it is so messy, I would still recommend it because of how easy it is to push a button instead if mixing the formula with one eye open in the middle of the night.

Love this product! I use this every day. It helps so much, when you got your hands full and a crying baby that wants it now. I just wish it wouldn’t say clean the funel after every 4 bottles. I wish it was more then that. So easy to use, I haven’t used the wifi way yet, so can’t really tell you if I like it or not. I just remember to fill the water each night and make sure there is formula in it. And we are set till the next night.

Garbage!!! I recently purchased the Baby Brezza Formula Pro Advanced WiFi Baby Formula Dispenser and have had issues right out of the box, which as the parent of a newborn is super frustrating. Even worse, every time I reach out out to Baby Brezza’s Customer Service/Tech Support, they all respond with the same scripted garbage that shows they have no clue how to fix the issues Ive been having.
It’s especially frustrating paying over $260 for a device that doesnt work like it’s supposed to and for Baby Brezza’s Customer Service to ignore several attempts of me reaching out. Right out of the box, this device hasnt been able to connect to my WiFi so that I can use the Baby Brezza app to remotely start a bottle for my newborn (this was the main reason I purchased the device and yet it’s never worked).
I’m tech savvy and havent had an issue connecting any other smart devices to my network. I’ve followed all of Baby Brezza’s troubleshooting steps – made sure the dispenser was connecting to a 2.4 Ghz network using the Baby Brezza App and that the device was within a few feet of my router, but the Baby Brezza fails every time.
It’s disappointing that as the parent of a newborn Baby Brezza could care less if you purchased this expensive device and have issues with it while you’re busy raising a crying baby (since Baby Brezza’s Customer Service will ignore you when you reach out with an issue and they show no effort to ensure it’s resolved).
