- Solid Perfect-Surface Copper and Long-Grain Copper Conductors
Solid conductors prevent electrical strand-to-strand interaction, a major source of distortion. The smooth surface of AudioQuest’s conductor metals nearly eliminates harshness and greatly increases clarity compared to lesser materials. - Double Star-Quad Geometry
The relationship between conductors defines a cable’s most basic electrical values (capacitance and inductance). AudioQuest’s Double Star-Quad geometry is vastly superior to conductors run in parallel as well as to the more common twisted pairs, resulting in less distortion. - Carbon-Based Noise-Dissipation System
This cable’s negative conductors are covered with partially conductive Carbon-Loaded Polyethylene, which prevents radio-frequency noise being fed back into the amplifier. The reduction in external interference results in clearer sound and greater dimensionality. - Foamed-Polyethylene Insulation
Most common insulation materials absorb energy, some of which is stored and then released as distortion. With its high air content and benign distortion profile, AudioQuest’s Foamed-Polyethylene causes much less of the out-of-focus effect common to other materials. - Direction-Controlled Conductors
A fundamental aspect of AudioQuest’s multifaceted Noise-Dissipation technology, Direction-Controlled Conductors assure induced noise is dissipated and drained properly. - SureGrip 300 Silver Banana Connectors
SureGrip 300 Banana Connectors use Direct-Silver Plating over a high-quality Beryllium Copper base metal with no underlying brass layer that would inevitably cause distortion and otherwise damage the sound.

I ordered these on line because none of the stores carry them. I went to pick them up today and I decided to Check them before I completed the transaction and there is only one cable in the box. Well I ended up canceling my order because I have 2 speakers not 1 and at 147.00 dollars I’m not ordering 2. To bad I was looking forward to hooking them up to my new B&W speakers.

I bought this speaker cable to use with my Bowers & Wilkins CMC2 center channel speaker as the speaker has four binding posts making it suitable to be bi-amped, or to have a speaker cable such as this divide the left and right center channel outputs from an A/V receiver into separate low and high frequency cables for each left and right input into the speaker. The cable itself seems very well-constructed, and it has a very nice look to it… Granted, no one really sees the cable.

Once again Audioquest has set high expectations for product quality and has exceeded them. I have seen (and heard) the improvements their Carbon HDMI cables have made in my system. Their Rocket 33 cable has made a marked improvement on my Polk CSi A6 center channel speaker. The crisp highs and mids seem more focused and more accurate. I attribute some of this to the biwiring design. The rest? All audioquest engineering. Now to get some type 4’s for the front channels…

This is the professional way to listen to B&W Speakers.

They are constructed with silver coating the individual wires. They are a little pricey but I think well worth the money. You can tell the sound difference between these and other brands on the market. They are built and not made as are the others are made of poor construction. Just look at the end of a exposed cable and you will understand the quality of construction.

Great cables are must-haves for great speakers, so don’t leave without the Rocket cables if you’re investing in high-end audio. They actually have a “break-in” period which means they must have metaphysical properties beyond my understanding, but the ears are happy and that’s what counts.
