    My Mom’s landline phone went bad. She has to have a landline for dsl. This item was on sale and I had a bunch of Best Buy Reward gift certificates. So I ordered this for her. I didn’t have internet at my new home yet so I went to a store and ordered it there. I wanted it delivered to the store closest to Mom and Mom to pick it up. My store made that so easy. The phone itself sounds so much clearer than the previous one she had. It sounds like we’re talking in the same room. If you still need a landline you can’t go wrong with this one.

    Got this for my sister apartment when her other landline phone died. So far it works fine and she had no trouble setting up.

    Aging parent needed a landline phone with features that could be adjusted to their individual needs: Can increase the number of rings giving them time to get to the phone before the answering machine picks up; has back-lit keys, so they can dial in dim/low lighting; expandable – a handset in every room so they need not remember to transport handset when leaving a room; digital answering machine – no need to dial into phone service provider’s message center to retrieve messages; hands free/speaker – can multitask; several volume levels. The favorite feature seemed to be the call id name announce because they would not need to look at the phone to see who is calling. Exactly what this senior individual needed. Very happy with the decision to purchase this phone.

    SET IT UP A WEEK OR TWO AGO, SO FAR WORKS FINE. ANSWERS THE PHONE AND ALLOWS US TO SCREEN CALLS.

    The quality seems good and does everything it should do. I’d give it a 5 star rating but the voice accent and announcement on the answering system is horrible. I usually can’t understand the announcement.

    Nice phone, was easy to set up and has been easy to use. I am older so not real big into cell phones. It is nice to have the two cordless handsets so when one is in need of charging, you can use the other.
    Seems to be made well and from quality materials. I would recommend.

    I love the way the phone announces whose calling so you don’t have to get up when the phone rings and look at the caller id! So funny how it pronounces some words especially names of towns!
