This monitor is very worth it for the money given the image quality and the size. It dose require a bit of tuning in the settings to get the picture just right. However, when you do get it tuned up it dose look very quality. I prefer to turn off the Variable OD in the settings as it can lead to ghosting. Especially in darker areas of games but once you turn it off, its all good. After that I would make sure all my drivers were up to date on my video card (If you actually got one in this GPU nightmare) The screen is very bright so even in direct sunlight you shouldn’t have issues. Over all I would recommend this monitor to anyone who not only games given the 165 Hz refresh rate but, also needs it for work given the size one can easily multitask on it. the stand is a bit intrusive but is actually very sturdy.

Great panel with fast smooth framerates, deep blacks. Good brightness, hdr gets up to 550 nits and actually makes the image pop with half way decent hdr highlights.

This monitor is an amazing value- the HDR is great, but requires tuning to get it right. The high frames – 165hz, and snappy response rate make this a crucial tool for a gamer/streamer looking to step their game up- as they say, frames win games and this screen doesn’t disappoint. The integrated USB hub also helps clear up cable clutter, as you only need to run one cable to your PC to get four ports in exchange. I ended up cable managing and hiding crucial cables behind my monitor arm for aesthetics. For the price, this was a SOLID purchase- shame to see it go out of stock so quickly, otherwise I’d have bought another one.

After 2 months of use the power stopped turning on. I called Best Buy and they asked me to bring it to Geek Squad. When I brought it to Geek Squad they confirmed it was defective and said there was nothing Best Buy could do as it was outside of the return window. Wasted a trip to the store carrying a heavy monitor. Bought it December 2021 as a Christmas gift for my kids and it died March 2022. Geek Squad said I could work with ASUS but their website keeps kicking me out. Currently not getting anywhere. Buyer beware. $500 for a few months of a monitor.

Very good monitor in good price. I’m not using it for gaming then I can’t tell how it would work, but otherwise I love it.
lostdog781 –
Awesome my favorite monitor of all time. Very fast and great resolution.
Dontbuy –
Flickering is horrible after 8 to 9 months.. black or purple shades …

I absolutely love this monitor. It’s not to big not to small. It has a great picture awesome color. The only way i can see to get a better picture than this monitor your going to have to go with a OLED monitor and you will pay $2500 or more. This will not get you the black levels like an OLED will but i play computer games on mine and im not complaining one bit.I think the picture is amazing for the price and the size is perfect. I play mainly world of tanks and its so nice to have the left and right view with the extra wide monitor. Also a big bonus is this has a USB hub. So if you needed to plug something in using a usb port now you have several on the back of the monitor. So you lose one from your computer to plug the hub in but you gain 3 extra there is 4 there but you lose the one on your computer so that’s where i’m coming up with 3 usb ports not the 4 that are there.

This monitor has the most inputs, brightest screen, fast response time, best curve(1500R). Its hard to beat this for all around specs with true HDR10. Other screens that compete with this one do not get as bright.
Drog –
This is a great monitor. Good contrast (great for an LCD), it gets fairly bright (one of the brightest monitors in this price segment), and it has a nice, crisp picture. The picture quality is stunning.

GOOD GAMING MONITOR FOR THE MONEY. EASY HOOK UP HDMI OUTPUT X2
LJHCPA –
Very good blacks and vivid colors, but has bad backlight bleed in 4 spots ( two on top, two on bottom) This is not noticeable under normal use or gaming–only in reduced light situations. 1500R curve is more noticeable than an 1800R monitor of the same width. This monitor is suitable for daily business use as well as gaming, as text–even small text–is clear and sharp.

Love the picture of my new tv,easy set up great price
Hype –
Much better than dual monitors. I like it has 4 inputs and very bright. This monitor stood out from the others. Has a matte finish. No glare issues. Nice response times.
Spellcheck –
This monitor is great and works just as I expected. Great monitor for work with a ton of real estate for having multiple windows open on a single screen. Additionally, the monitor has performed as expected for my gaming setup. I have a better monitor for FPS gaming but the ultra wide is great for anything that doesn’t above 100hz.
RudyA –
Screen has an area where the background has a ripple effect while watching YouTube… only 3 days old smh
TD636 –
Nice, bright screen. The biggest issue is the dark performance. Any content with dark scenes had black levels that felt washed out and difficult to see. There was a lot of light bleeding from the backlights.

Great monitor got this one on open-box sale only thing missing was the screws to mount the monitor to the stand. Picked those up for 2.64 at Lowe’s. The built in usb hub is awesome I hooked up my back lights a few chargers for my wireless headset and controller and still have another port to spare. Absolutely beautiful paired with my Gigabyte 4090 OC.
zurge936 –
I like that it has 4 video inputs, and the “USB hub” is neat, but when the monitor goes to sleep, clicking my mouse and hitting a key on my keyboard doesn’t work. Still looking for a good solution for my 3 computers.
I’m happy with this monitor; good quality, and a good-looking picture.

Been comparing specs, reviews, price and size. This has it all compared to the others.
JdF1 –
While I wasn’t thrilled about purchasing an ASUS product, the monitor’s specs met and exceeded my requirements. I’ve played a number of games on it of various types and I am happily satisfied with it’s performance and function.
TitanXcalibur –
The colors/resolution and curve of the monitor are great features. Only drawback is that I notice one dead pixel (which can’t see when playing games) but can see when screen all black. I tried programs to fix the pixel, maybe need to send to ASUS for fix/replacement.
RichardE –
First curved monitor I’ve owned. So far it’s great! Perfect for gaming, clarity and resolution is perfect, and it still fits on a standard desk.
Ccan –
Fantastic. Has some ghosting and weird overshoot if the overdrive is turned up too high. For work and gaming, couldn’t be happier as I hardly notice the ghosting and love the contrast, high refresh rate, brightness, and moving to an ultrawide for a great price.
Brandon –
Great picture, nice curve, and easy to use.Extra sturdy at the cost of being a bit heavy and a large base (but understandable given the size) would be the only cons.
santodeltiempo –
Ive been wanting to get ab ultrawide for a long time and this one has been an amazing purchase for the price! Im able to work efficiently and also game when i want to
Unknown –
If you are indecisive between a standard monitor and a super ultrawide this one is for you! Worked perfectly well and was a good middle gap!
BrettDay –
This monitor has been excellent. I was worried about it being a TN panel, which can have blurring issues during fast games, but the ASUS TUF Gaming has been perfect with no problems from day one in this regard. If you’re sitting dead center, the colors, contrast and inky blacks will blow you away. The screen is bright too. Another great feature is the super handy USB ports. This isn’t a top-of-the-line monitor but it punches well above its price point.

I received a badly boxed open box product from Best Buy and the screen was broken and it was packaged badly it was supposed to be excellent condition so I don’t know about functionality but the warehouse let me down.
MikeD –
Had to return the first one due to severe pixelation spots and vertical line issues. Second monitor seemed to be fine but now getting a section that flashes a 4×5 square of blotchy pixelation for approx. 30 seconds then stops. Speakers are extremely quiet to where you can barely hear it at times. ASUS normally has great products, but unfortunately not this one.
RobertS –
Great monitor but for some reason when using for video editing the quality goes bad
Alex –
This is a great budget item for ultrawide monitors vs buying an oled screen, great picture.
SherronB –
Really love my new monitor that I bought great graphics and easy to use
ziggles –
Everything everyone is saying is correct. It’s a fantastic ultrawide for work. Low stars because the switching between inputs is a little buried in the on screen menu and the auto switcher just really STINKS. Of you have one input and need a wide work horse don’t hesitate, if you want to be annoyed at the amount of clicks and re clicks just to change the input… Go for it I guess.
Thomas –
The only bad thing is the pixel the rest of it works great and ive had no problems
ZacharyH –
Awesome monitor great size and amazing picture i strongly recommend!!!!
Tombkater –
Great picture and hdr. Low latency and colors. Great motionflow.
TaylorH –
Was a little worried at first, once I’ve set the settings to my preferences the screen is pretty good, only thing I don’t are the built in speakers and feel the sound could be better.
NolanC –
Great for its price but the darker colors could definitely be better.
