I am a ROG fanboy so this was must buy for my gaming setup. The build quality was great. Super comfortable. I aleady use Armoury Crate for my other Asus components. So my problem was with the software. You could ONLY use Armoury Crate… If you tried to use Atmos or DTS the headphones sounded horrible. So i tried. I really tried. The Virtual surround wasnt that good. Then the device is limited to DVD quality sound. For $200, nope. Returned. Bought another brand and i am satisfied

These are not bad, extremely comfortable and lightweight. Bluetooth works well and the armoury crate for PC you can customize the sound and update it. On phone you cannot customize the sound with the armoury crate or update it. Also you need to switch from Bluetooth to the 2.4 dongle. Also a nice feature is that it comes as a USB type C but also a USB A to USB C adapter if you do not have many or no USB C ports. Overall the quality is nice but sound is not amazing like other high end headphones. It was between these and the steel series nova 7. Never got the nova 7’s but I may just to compare.

Its nothing extraordinary, but its better than most gaming headsets and its a super easy setup. I opted to get a lavalier mic instead of using the built in mic. But overall it is decent unless youre looking for extreme sound quality in which case a studio monitor would do better
